J'arriverai sans doute à Tahiti en novembre depuis la métropole dans le cadre d'une mutation professionnelle pour 2-3 ans.
Quelqu'un accepterait il de me donner quelques infos précises ?
meilleur loueur de voiture à l'aéroport de Papeete ? meilleur plan pour acheter ensuite une voiture ? neuve / occasion ? à quel prix ? Des adresses ? est il réaliste de n'avoir qu'un scooter ou moto ? (et donc pas de voiture) meilleur rapport qualité/prix pour un hébergement provisoire ? (15 jours) : pension de famille ? hôtel ? formule type Bed and Breakfast ? dans quel quartier proche de Pirae trouver ensuite un hébergement avec un petit jardin en location. Je cherche surtout le côté pratique (cf embouteillages...), pas cher, propre, sécure, avec de quoi faire, pourquoi pas, un potager ! est il habituel et réaliste de vivre à Moorea, de prendre le bateau chaque jour pour bosser à Pirae ? c'est quoi les horaires et temps de traversée ? Les 2 roues sont ils admis sur les ferry ?

je peux essayer de te donner quelques infos ou conseils, habitant en Polynésie depuis assez longtemps (je vis à Moorea...)
Pour la location de voiture à l'aéroport, il y a bien sur plusieurs compagnies (locales ou internationales) mais il est difficile de t'aiguiller là-dessus. Il faudra voir sur place et discuter les prix... Tu verras, c'est très cher ! Donc, si possible acheter très vite ton propre véhicule. Pour ça, compter minimum 600.000 à 700.000 Fcp pour une voiture correcte en bon état. (5000 à 5800 €). L'achat d'un scooter ou d'une moto est envisageable mais ça limite les possibilités. C'est très bien (et conseillé) pour la ville et les bouchons mais si tu veux aller plus loin, ça sera vite galère surtout si tu te prends une bonne pluie, comme ce sera surement le cas à partir de Novembre (saison des pluies jusqu'en Avril...). Pour les courses, ça va considérablement te limiter...
Pour l'achat d'un véhicule, plein d'annonces sur les journaux style "Paru Vendu" ou les petites annonces affichées dans les magasins par les particuliers.
Pour l'hébergement provisoire, je ne pourrai pas te renseigner, n'y ayant jamais eu recours... Par contre, en épluchant le forum (et d'autres), tu trouveras des avis éclairés sur la question.
Pour le logement, Pirae est une bonne alternative. Tout dépendra où tu vas bosser. Si c'est à Papeete, ça va. Si c'est plus loin, galère à cause des bouchons pour traverser la ville.

Pour le choix du logement, se déplacer est bien sur indispensable surtout pour se rendre compte de la situation et des éventuelles nuisances (sonores notamment) et le côté sécurité. Se renseigner auprès du voisinage. C'est un aspect très important car ça peut vite te pourrir la vie....
Habiter Moorea et travailler à Pirae est bien sur possible. Beaucoup de personnes habitant Moorea vont bosser à Papeete tous les jours mais ça peut très vite devenir l'enfer à cause des temps de transport. Tout sera fonction de là où tu habites à Moorea. Si tu habites près du quai, ça va. Sinon tu vas vite perdre 1H à 1H30 le matin et le soir en trajet bateau+voiture. Il y a aussi le problème du trajet Papeete/Pirae. Il te faudra prendre ton deux roues dans le bateau (coût supplémentaire). Pour les tarifs : abonnement mensuel passager : 18.000 Fcp (150 €) - Abonnement mensuel 2 roues : 13.000 Fc (108 €). je suis prof d'EPS, je pense demander ma mutation en polynésie. et surtout dans les iles du vent, papeete si possible
pensez vous que le rectorat (dijon pour moi) peut me donner des réponses.
je sais que cela est difficile, mais ayant de la famille sur papeete, cela paut il jouer sur la mutation.
si l'on demande sa mutation pour la polynésie, est on oblige d'accepter n'importe quelle destination ou peut on seulement demander certaines iles.
dans le dossier que faut il mettre en avant (ce que l'on fait dans l'etablissement, investissement dans la vie assiociative, le fait d'avoir de la famille en polynésie)

tu peux aller sur le site siat système d'information et d'aide pour l'affectation des personnels enseignants dans les collectivités d'outre mer, mais je n'y ai trouvé que des info trop générales
voilà c'est pas évident de trouver des infos précises du type combien de points il faut pour obtenir sa mutation, et quel type de parcours il faut présenter pour avoir une chance de voir sa candidature retenue
pour toi ça devrait être un peu plus simple, si c'est comme pour les dom les profs qui y sont originaires bénéficient de 1000 points automatiques pour faciliter la mut. on a un copain qui est retourné en guadeloupe dès sa 1ère année de titularisation! trop content!
