Je m'appelle Mathieu, 36 ans, marié et 2 enfants (6 & 9 ans), et suis dentiste depuis plus de 10 ans installé en banlieue de Bordeaux à mon compte, et j'aimerais changer d'air...
J'ai vécu toute mon enfance et adolescence outre-mer, dont Wallis, et ne suis rentré en métropole que pour aller à la fac après le bac. Donc, ce genre de vie me manque depuis toujours, et je n'ai jamais eu l'opportunité franche (ou le courage ?) de réaliser le grand saut vers les DOM-TOM, notament la Polynésie ou la Nouvelle Calédonie...
Quelqu'un connaitrait-il une opportunité dans ces territoires: exercice libéral en cabinet, ou salarié à l'hôpital ou en clinique privée ?
Et bien fais comme moi (je ne suis pas dentiste et ai fait le grand saut il y a 2 ans): entre en contact avec des dentistes en libéral, par courrier ou téléphone(- 12h de décalage); contacte les dispensaires, cliniques et vois s'ils ont besin d'un dentiste.
Ensuite, le mieux est de venir sur place, afin de se faire une idée plus précise de ce qui pourrait t'attendre.

Je suis a la Réunion et je m occupe d'aider les dentistes de la reunion et de metropole mais j ai été contacté par un dentiste de nouvelle caledonie pour l aider à transmettre son cabinet.

En ce qui me concerne j ai naturellement une préférence pour exercer sur l ile de la Réunion car l'éloignement se fait moins sentir qu'en Nle Caledonie mais tt depend de ce que l on cherche (professionnel ou personnel).
Pour la Réunion, il ya pas mal de confrères qui veulement rentrer en métropole (notamment pour suivre la scolarité des enfants) donc certains proposent de reprendre ce qu ils ont commencé mais sinon je pense qu il y a des possibilités de se faire plaisir et créer.
Les créoles sont vraiment adorables et tous me confirment que c'est gratifiant de se faire apprécier dans sa ville.
En tous cas si vous voulez venir à la Réunion, je vous présenterais à des confrères par mail avant que vous fassiez le grand pas.

On ne peut pas s'intaller comme dentiste en Nouvelle Calédonie (numérosus-closus), il faut acheter un cabinet dentaire et les prix des cabinets sont très élevés, c'est normal : - d'impôts, vie zen, ça se paye ! le prix moyen d'un cabinet est de 300 000 euros mais il peut y avoir des exceptions. Souvent les cabinets sont mal équipés par rapport à la métropole (pas de RVG...) Vous pouvez choisir de vous installer en dehors de Nouméa : les cabinets sont deux fois moins chers. bonjour, votre message est ancien, mais nous serions interéssés pour avoir des "bons plans" à la Réunion: nous cherchons avec mon mari un long remplacement si possible au même endroit sinon dans deux cabinets diférents. Nous sortons d'une année de collaboration dans une clinique suisse et nous aimerions prendre un grand "bol d'air"! Je suis dentiste sur l' ile de la réunion dans le Sud Ouest, à 5 min des plages, pas loin des montagnes, et j ai aussi une petite fille de 9 ans et demi qui s' éclate ici.
Je cherche un associé avec qui partager mon cabinet ( 2 fauteuils, panoramique, tout équipé au top) je l ai créé en 2003 et mon CA ne cesse d' augmenter. Nous avons ici des avantages fiscaux, une qualité de vie .....et c 'est justement pour cela que le cabinet est trop lourd à gérer toute seule, mes employés sont travailleuses et courageuses, mais je n y arrive plus. En plus j ai fait la formation ceto d ortho et j aimerai petit à petit lâcher l omnipratique... Le cabinet fctionne suffisemment sur 2 fauteuils pour etre 2 titulaires et un collaborateur qui tournerait sur les deux fauteuils et ferait les rempla de vacances scolaires.. Bref moi aussi avant je voyageais, ai vécu sur un bateau dans les antilles et aimerait pouvoir concilier boulot et qualité de vie.
J arrive peut être un peu tard, la reunion n' est peut être pas la destination souhaitée. Qui tente rien n' a rien je ne crois pas au fait du hasard. Une bouteille à la mer ..... A bientôt peut être. Nathalie
bonjour, la proposition semble seduisante cependant en matiere de legislation d'exercice de la dentisterie, qu'en est il pour les Francais detenteurs de diplomes extra communautaires.je detiens un diplome d'etat en chirurgie dentaire, un second de specialiste en chirurgie buccale et pathologie orale, formation de deux ans en chirurgie maxillo faciale, une formation en implantologie orale et actuellement en preparation de l'AERAIO AVEC la societe Francaise de biomateriaux et systemes implantables.donc s'il existe une certaine flexibilite legislative je suppose que mes competences seraient un atout pour vous.une reponse de votre part me serai tres utile.

je sais qu'à la fac il y avait un dentiste avec diplome canadien qui etait oblige de repasser la derniere annee de fac. c' était il y a 20 ans. Actuellement je ne sais pas. Le mieux c est de se renseigner aupres du conseil de l ordre national ( pour la réunion c est la meme reglementation car DOM (departement) )

je suis dentiste sur l ile de la Réunion, et n' ai pas trop d' info pour caledo ou polynesie, n' y étant moi meme jamais allée. Par contre , je peux proposer une opportunité ici à la Réunion. J ai un cabinet très sympa 2 fauteuils aux Avirons dans le Sud Ouest à 5 min de la plage, omnipratique, avec une collaboratrice à plein temps sur 2 ème fauteuil. Depuis 2 ans je fais la formation CETO ODF et ai pris la décisiion de ne plus faire que ça J ai donc décidé de revendre les parts de mon cabinet ( dnc les 2 fauteuils avec patientele) et m' installer en temps qu' ortho exclusif dans une des pièces du cabinet. Le praticien qui reprendra aura donc un présentation de clientèle qui se fera d' elle même puisque je ne pars pas. à savoir que mon CA est de 275 K€ (4j / sem et vacances et formations+ rétrocession collaboratrice). Le cabinet est tout équipé en double , ste ad hoc, radio panoramique, digora, assistante dentaire plein temps+ secrétaire mi temps. Je vends 1 annuité la totalité. Sinon à voir la moitié.

Je suis Chirurgien-dentiste depuis une trentaine d’années, et maman de deux grands enfants (18 et 16 ans), actuellement basée en Normandie..
Nous avons déjà vécu une quinzaine d’années en Provence, et nous souhaiterions changer d’air, si possible en Martinique, Guadeloupe, ou Réunion.. Mon mari étant enseignant, cela peut faciliter notre départ.
Cependant, j’ai la cinquantaine, et je travaille actuellement en mutualité.
Est-il possible de trouver un emploi dans ce secteur, ou en clinique privée , hopital, dans les DOM?
L’implantation y est-elle difficile ?
Y a-t-il beaucoup de dentistes, ou est ce plutôt des zones « creuses » ?
Quant aux salaires (en mutualité si possible), quelqu’un aurait-il une idée ?
Car je dois encore assurer les études de mes deux enfants.. !

Je fais de l'orthodontie depuis 5 ans. Connaissez vous un praticien qui cherche un remplaçant durant cette période? Je me moque de la rémunération du moment que cela amortisse les frais d'avions. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
