Je termine mon cap cette annee, j'aurais mes 18 ans pour partir, pour l'instant je m'occupe de mon visa. Si je pars j'aimerais etre en colocation à auckland et faire du trekking un peu partout, vivre en bivouacs quelques temps...je suis jeune et je veux en profiter à fond !

Je viens de passer 6 mois dans ce merveilleux pays ou les gens sont vraiment gentils et relax.
Pour ma part j ai acheté un van(tu peux en trouver des pas cher d occas dans les marchés a auckland par exemple ou annonces backpackers) que j ai revendu a mon depart, et bossé pas mal dans les ceuilletes de fruits et legumes. (par exemple les pommes en avril mai) bref chaque saison a sa ceuillette. C est aussi assez facile de trouver une collocation et de bosser dans une ville (restauration ou autre). En tout cas je pense que tu vas adoré et profité de ces magnifiques paysages.

J'y suis allée 6 mois pour travailler l'hiver et 1 mois pendant lequel j'ai voyagé tout autour du pays.

J'ai moi aussi le projet de partir un an en NZ, je n'ai pas encore définis de date mais ce qui est sure ce que ce sera pour l'année prochaine.
Je compte partir avec un VVT (Working Holiday Visa en anglais) pendant toute sa durée, un an donc, en voyageant sur les 2 iles (8 mois sur l'ile du sud/4 mois celle du Nord). Comme mode de déplacement le van semble la meilleure solution car il permet d'avoir une totale liberté. Pour le programme rien de définis encore, même si je pense opter pour le Wwofing, merveilleux procéder qui permet d'être nourris et logé en échange de quelques heures de travail, mais qui permet surtout de faire de merveilleuse rencontre avec les habitants locaux et de se plonger totalement dans leur culture. Voila en gros mon projet.

En NZ, c est plutot simple de trouver du boulot, il suffit juste de trainer ds les auberges de travail (référencées ds certains guides de voyage) ou de s armer de patience en allant arpenter ts les bars, restau, fermes, CV sous le bras. par contre ne vous attendez pas à des paies astronomiques : en moyenne 13$ de l heure (avant taxes) soit 10$/heure apres taxes pour du picking. Je viens de faire un mois ds la taille des kiwis, possibilité de bosser 7j/7, 8à10h par jour ... qd la météo le permet !
Concernant les véhicules, j ai acheté il y a plus d un mois mnt une station wagon (break) pr 1200 $NZ. Pr un van tt équipé il faut compter entre 1000 et 5000$. Les annonces ds les backpackers, journaux, et garages sont de bonnes solutions. Personnellement j ai trouvé ma voiture sur trademe (equivalent d ebay version NZ).
pr ceux qui ne dispose pas du permis, je conseille les lifts, j ai bcp voyagé comme ça en australie, il suffit juste de déposer des annonces ds les auberges ou sur le net (hitch.net.nz ou careshare.co.nz) beaucoup de fun et de rencontres insolites !
Concernant le niveau d anglais ... ... forcément plus le niveau est bas plus il sera difficile d accéder à des boulots "intéressants", un excellent moyen d améliorer son niveau est de voyager seul ou a plusieurs ms ss autre francophone ! et de faire un maximum de wwoofing (wwoof book ou helpx.net), immersion totale ds une famille kiwi.
Concernant couchsurfing, je ne peux qu encourager ! je n ai pas encore eu de mauvaises expériences (utilisé en asie du sud est, australie et en ce moment en NZ) ms eu qq échos de "mauvais" couchsurfer qui abusait un peu trop du principe de gratuité par rapport à l ouverture d esprit et les motivations des hotes qui hébergent !

ah si j oubliais, en ce qui concerne la somme minimale à avoir sur un compte en entrant ds le pays, personnellement, on ne m a jamais demandé de preuves ! ni en NZ ni l année derniere en australie.
