Hi, my current question: which airline to pick—the cheapest one and also the one that takes the least time from TOULOUSE? Thanks for your help

Hi there, you should run some simulations online. I could do it for you, but given how time-consuming it is, it would have been a paid service.

hi thanks, but I’ve got time, so I’ll do some simulations and compare. I just don’t know where to start though

Hi there! Use Google Flights or Skyscanner to run simulations based on your travel dates. That way, you’ll see prices, airlines, flight durations, and more. Then book directly on the airline’s website.

Hello, from TLS you’ve got options like AF, KLM, Iberia, Turkish, BA… for those with just one stopover.

hi, thanks so much! I’ve got a question that’s always on my mind: which days can you book at a reasonable price, and most importantly, what are the deadlines? When should you book to get the best fare?
SE Sebastoudu31 Regular ·
hi there thanks denis and yeah, you’ve gotta check the layovers too—what kind of time buffers do you think are best before booking? how long before the trip should I book to get a reasonable fare?
SA Sawadeebaht Regular ·
Come on, let’s be nice—Emirates and Qatar Airways have long been the best quality for the best price.

For years, the best fares were between 3 and 6 months before departure, but now it’s as soon as bookings open, which is nearly a year in advance.

Hello, Qatar just canceled its TLS/Doha route, so no more flights from Toulouse.

There’s also Lufthansa via Munich, I think
LU Luan Veteran ·
Hi,

Personally, I book my tickets between 5 and 3 months before departure. Sometimes I see lower prices after booking, but that’s the game.

The rule is to check flight comparison sites first, then book directly on the airline’s website—it’s better if you run into any issues.

This winter, I flew with Air India, and they’ve really improved. Next January, I’m flying with Oman Air, but from Paris. I can’t help you with Toulouse.

Good luck!

Hello, my current question: which airline to choose — the cheapest and also the one with the shortest travel time from TOULOUSE? Thanks for your help

Hi there, we’re also from Toulouse and we’re leaving on November 13th for BKK with Lufthansa on an A380 via Munich. Maybe not the cheapest, but a good European airline with not-too-long layovers. Watch out: checked baggage is extra, otherwise it’s only 8 kg in the cabin, which is a bit tight. We booked in September with flexible dates... Happy travels

25 kg checked baggage free with lots of airlines.

Hi, It really does seem like Lufthansa is a good option. Thanks everyone!

Hi, That’s what I thought—Lufthansa isn’t bad. Thanks to you all

There are people from your area who take flights from Spain. Worth looking into, maybe.

Hi there, Turkish Airlines in under 15 hours including layover, with 30kg checked baggage and 8kg carry-on, priced between 550 € and 680 € depending on departure dates. Excellent airline.
Cordialement, Patrick.

Yes, great airline! But for a Toulouse-Bangkok flight in July or August, those aren’t the prices at all—I checked, and the best deal is **930 €** with a 19-hour layover. With reasonable layovers, the average price is around **1,200 €** per person.
PA Patrick91230 Globetrotter ·
Hi, Yeah, in July and August it's always the same with all the airlines. After August 20th, prices drop again.
Cordialement, Patrick.

25 kg in the hold for free with lots of airlines.

Hi there,

It’s not 25 kg free, but included in the fare.

Plus, most airlines have entry-level fares (without hold baggage).

No need to quibble, just wrap it all up for me and I'll take it as is.
