Nous prévoyons partir pour Puerto Plata le 21 mars. Avez-vous des suggestion d'hôtel et nous dire ce qu'il y a à faire dans le coin. Entre autres, on aime bien faire la fête et aller danser dans les petits bars où il y a des groupes et des locaux pour apprendre à les connaître. On aime aussi découvrir le pays par nous-même sans toujours prendre des tours organisés/ randonnée, souper chez l'habitant, excursions, etc. Avez-vous des suggestions à nous faire? Y'a t-il vraiment un problème majeur avec la tourista en ce moment?
Je suis alle a puerto plate au debut Decembre au allegro playa dorada.Tres belle hotel pas beaucoup de bar dans le secteur et pu.plata reste une endroit asser dangeureuse pour sortir le soir il faut etre certain de l'endroit ou ont va.

Je ne suis pas oubliger de mettre fait agreser pour dire que l'endroit est pas secure.Je vais en republique de 2 a 3 fois par annee et je peut te dire qu'il y a des endroit qui ne sont vraiment pas a conseille le soir.Il ne faut pas juge un endroit en un seul voyage tout nous semble jolie et secure la premiere fois.
J'arrive de puerto plata... En fait, il y a une semaine. J'étais au super club breezes. Très bien comme hotel, propre, accueil sympathique, bonne bouffe... J'ai rien à dire de négatif.
Par contre, si tu veux te meler à la culture locale, ce n'est pas l'hôtel idéal. Moi, je te suggère le casa marina reef. C'est situé dans la petite ville de sosua. Donc, pas besoin de taxi ou autre pour sortir en ville et aller danser avec les dominicains. 🙂 J'ai visité le complexe et ça semble plutôt bien. Et les gens que j'ai connus qui y séjournaient me disait que c'était très bien.
Pour ce qui est de la tourista... En effet, il y a eu une petite épidémie de gastro entérite pendant que j'y étais. Plusieurs personnes ont été malade. Je suis une des rares qui n'a rien eu. Mais, il ne faut pas "capoter", les médias ont le don de tout dramatiser. Un bon lavage de mains... fait attention à ce que tu manges et apporte de l'imodium par prévention. Tu peux aussi demandé à ton Md une prescription de cipro. C'est l'antibio contre la tourista... Il t'expliquera comment le prendre!
Pour les excursions... moi j'ai fait le safari d'une journée avec Tourissimo... Géniale, j'ai adoré... mais c'est dispendieux. Tu peux surement trouver moins cher en marchandant un peu!!!

tout a fais d'acord avec toi que ce n'est pas en un seul voyage que l'on peut juger .... j'y vais depuis que jsuis petite ....et je le dis haut et fort a Puerto Plata je n'ai jamais eu le moindre probleme . Maintenant c'est comme partout quelques fois les gens peuvent etre plus ou moins sympa cependant je pense que on ne peut pas trouver plus chaleureuse et accueillente la population de la RD ...
Tu diras cela au quebecois qui c'est fait enfoncer un coup de couteau l"an dernier sur la plage non loin de son hotel.Il ne courrait pas apres les dominicaines il etait avec sa femmme.
Moi je suis allé à Puerto-Plata dernièrement et je peux te dire que si tu veux etre en sécurité tu peux aller dans le complexe de la Playa Dorada qui se trouve a 10 minute de Puerto Plata. dans ce complexe se trouve 14 hotels de haut standing. Enfin moi je me suis eclater a sortir et faire la fete.
sa fait 2semaine que je suis revenur de la republic et je te conseil d'aller dans lhotel viva whyndam playa dorada tres belle hotel chambre confortable bonne nourriture boisoon alcoliser a vonlonter et tres bellle ambiance en fin de soirer et durans la journer il y a beaucoup d'animation et tu connaitra le theme dans lhotel VIVA!!!!
Nous sommes allés en septembre au riu merengue:l'hotel est absolument parfait ;de la nourriture aux spectacles en passant par les chambres et le service.Rien à redire et c'est le quatrième hotels que nous faisions en RD en mars nous allons au Caribe club princess.
Seulement pour sortir de l'hotel c'est moins évident.Pas loin de puerto plata mais il faut quand meme prendre le bus(arret tout près).Sinon, nous sommes passés à Cabarete en allant à Las Galeras( d'ou nous sommes repartis le lendemain;l'hotel le casa marina bay était d'une propreté plus que douteuse.Attention casa marina reef meme chaine!) et donc, il y avait là-bas beaucoup d'animation.Renseigne toi sur les hotels du coin peut-etre.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
