Je suis de retour depuis hier soir de l'Oasis Canoa de Bayahibe. Départ le 21 décembre de Montréal à 10h00 (retard de 1h30, départ était à 8h30) avec Sunwing. Vol, aucun problème. Nourriture à bord excellente! Arrivée à La Romana vers 15h00, heure local là bas. Les douanes, très rapide. À bord de l'autobus direction notre hotel (20 minutes environs normalement de l'aréoport) retard encore une fois!!!! 1h30 en tout d'autobus!!!! Enfin arrivée à notre hotel vers 17h00. Enfin dans notre chambre...défait vaguement nos valises et enfile nos maillots pour une petite baignade à la dernière minute avant que la noirceur arrive.
Hotel ordinaire et site bien avec beaucoup de végétation. Chambre petite et matelas finit...très mal dormis toute la semaine. J'étais dans le bloc 3 au 336. Propreté de la chambre, rien à redire...ménage fait à toutes les jours.
Parlons nourriture..... BOFF!!!! Je ne peux pas dire que ce n'était pas mangeable mais sans plus. Par contre le buffet de Noel SUPER! Restos à la cartes...seulement allé au El Fugon et là c'était vraiment dégueulasse! Les autres pas fait....pas osé.
L'animation, SUPER! Souriant et sympathique et surtout pas fatiguant. La plage...pas très profonde mais longue. L'eau turquoise mais embrouillé à cause des vagues et du sable. Mais bien en général.
Petit conseil pour ceux qui veulent aller à cet hotel....emportez-vous des serviettes de plage personnelles car il y a des matins ou tu n'en a pas et pour ceux qui se lavent avec une débarbouillette, emportez-en aussi car l'hotel est gèré par des espagnol donc connait pas les débarbouillettes.
Pour conclure, un bel hotel mais sans plus. Je n'y retournerai pas. Je préfère Boca Chica ou Punta Cana.
Bon retour à la vie normale. Un petit mot pour te remercier du résumé de ton voyage. Je vois que tu es allée quelques fois à Santo Domingo, peux-tu me dire à quel hotel car moi je pars lundi le 31 déc. à Coral Costa Caribe resort à Juan Dolio. J'arrive à l'aéroport de Punta Cana sais-tu combien d'heure de bus j'aurais à faire avant d'arriver à Juan Dolio.

Pour répondre à ta question tu auras environs 2h30 d'autobus à faire pour te rendre à Juan Dolio. C'est un peu long je sais... J'ai séjourné à cet hôtel une nuit. Bel hôtel en général. Petite plage par contre mais il parait qu'il a y eu des changements depuis mon passage là bas côté plage. Moi je suis allée au Boca Chica Resort (maintenant le Dominican Bay) plusieurs fois et au Coral Hamaca (maintenant Oasis Hamaca) plusieurs fois aussi. Je vois que tu pars très bientôt! 2 jours seulement! Je te souhaite de passer de très belles vacances en République Dominicaine et je suis certaine que tu passeras du bon temps là bas.

Quand j'étais la il n'y avait plus de rénovation. Le bloc 12 a été rénové et les travaux sont finit. Si tu veux une belle chambre prends celle du bloc 12.

L'autobus qui nous mène à notre hôtel était bloqué au Dominicus palace en arrière d'un autre autobus qui ne réussissait pas à sortir de là. Plus d'une heure d'attente...nous étions à seulement 20 30 minutes de l'aréoport!!!!! Pas chanceuse faut croire!!!!
Tu pars, toi aussi, avec Sunwing! Pas problèmes avec le vol et surtout la bouffe à bord est excellente. En espérant que tu n'auras pas toi aussi du retard au départ avec eux...moi j'ai eu 1h30 de retard. Nous devions partir à 8h30am et nous sommes décollés à 10h00am de Montréal.

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
Bonjour j ai effectué des reservations d hebergement sur l amerique du sud par l intermediaire de Booking en fevrier dernier pour novembre 2020 . A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
