C'est vraiment la première fois que je fais un résumé négatif et bien là je le fais. Nous étions au Oasis Hamaca du 1er au 8 décembre 2008.
Chambre 122: Ma salle de bain s'est inondée par le plafond......une heure plus tard on apportait une moppe. L'intérieur du plafond n'a jamais été asséché. Le téléphone.....même après plusieurs demandes, n'a pas fonctionné de la semaine. En face de ma porte de chambre.......de la construction de 7 h à 7 h le soir, j'ai d'ailleurs fait un vidéo que vous pourrez visionner sur youtube (Oasis Hamaca, Boca Chica). Dehors, ils construisent une rallonge à l'Hôtel.........encore de la construction. Le bruit des marteaux ....... tout le temps. J'ai pas dormi de la semaine. Le ménage était très très vite fait et j'ai même dû aller à la réception pour leur dire que la femme de chambre avait oublié de faire notre chambre. Le bain était encrassé. De plus, à 7 h le matin, elle cogne et entre toute suite. Mettez votre tite pancarte à votre poignée de porte. Une dizaine de chambre au 1er étage ont été inondées, plusieurs matin de suite, ils ont dû laisser les chambres vides et les portes ouvertes. Définitivement un problème d'eau à cette hôtel.
La plage: Correcte
La bouffe: Passable mais le resto italien excellent (quand il était ouvert)
Le dimanche, les dominicains envahissent l'hôtel pour la journée.........préparez vous....ils envahissent les bars et la piscine leur appartient.
Bref, never again en République, même dans un 5 étoiles.
Je crois bien sincèrement que ton agent de voyages a très mal fait son travail!
Boca Chica est la pire région de toute la République dominicaine.... Un peu d'informations avant de partir, t'aurait dit tout ça....
C'est très décevant ce que tu as vécu mais de là à mettre une croix sur une destination, il y a une marge!
Si cela avait été le cas, je ne serais jamais retournée à Cuba après ma très mauvaise expérience de mon 1er voyage là-bas en 1990.
C'est dommage mais tu n'as vraiment pas choisi la plus belle destination de ce merveilleux pays! Samana, Punta Cana, Bayahibe et même la région de Puerto Plata sont mille fois plus intéressantes que Boca Chica. Je suis déjà allée dans ce coin, je le connais un peu.
Bon retour mais surtout, retourne en République dominicaine, ailleurs, et tu verras comment ce pays est magnifique!

De ce fait, je suis encore plus surprise que tu aies choisi cet hôtel et cette région.
C'est certain que moi aussi, je préfère les Antilles françaises (je suis allée 2 fois en Guadeloupe, une fois en Martinique et une fois à St-Martin), mais le budget n'est pas le même....

La région m'intéressait beaucoup alors c'est pourquoi j'ai choisi Boca Chica et à mon avis ce n'est pas la pire région de la République dominicaine (chacun ses opinions).

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
