Nous sommes 2 adultes + 2 enfants (8 et 10 ans) et nous hésitons à se payer le luxe d'une chambre au Mariott.Mais je n'arrive pas à savoir si en prenant une chambre twin, il y a comme dans les grands hotels 2 lits double afin que les enfants partagent la chambre avec nous.
De +, qqn peut il me dire si les restos de cet hotel sont trés chers(on est prét à se payer cet hotel qui a l'air magnifique mais on ne voudrait pas que ce soit inaccessible pour les restos)?

j'ai séjourné plusieurs fois dans cet hotel, dans des chambres twin avec vue rivière
il y 2 grands lits
plusieurs restaurants : un buffet tous les soirs au bord de la rivière très bien, mais cher. un restaurant chinois tout a fait abordable et très bon (vrai canard laqué) un restaurant japonais très cher, mais avec grand spectacle des cuisiniers (je n'y suis jamais allé, mais de grande baies vitrées permettent de voir à l'intérieur). enfin un restaurant thai très bon avec des plats bon marché typiques et copieux : c'est notre préféré.
A signaler un buffet petit déjeuner vraiment somptueux, impossible de gouter à tout.
Des navettes fluviales gratuites, toutes les 15 mn, vous déposant à 10m du métro aérien, et un personnel charmant.
Bref un de mes hotels préféré à BKK
Oui de même ...... j'ai séjourné au Marriott Riverside l'année dernière, et vraiment un super établissement avec des chambres vue rivière impressionantes, et en discutant on peut les monnayer à 150 USD la nuit .....
Je confirme pour le japonais, c'est somptueux ... et j'ai gouté ici une viande d'une qualité incroyable .......
Je crois bien qu'ils vont me revoir le mois de Février prochain ...... 🙂
Et puis ne pas oublier le spa de cet hôtel qui est prodigieux, avec des soins dispensés dans une athmosphère quasi surnaturelle ..... la vraie sérénité aprés un bon voyage sur les routes, c'est vraiment là que je l'ai trouvé ......
C'est sûr que les nuits, plus les restaurants et le spa ..... celà commence à faire cher, mais quel plaisir ......... 😇🙂
J'ai réservé 3 nuits dans cet hotel pour février 2006 pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Combien le prix du petit dej et qu'appelles-tu "cher" pour les restos ?
Le petit déjeuner il ne faut pas le payer, il doit être inclus dans le prix de la chambre ....... cher, celà veut dire pas bon marché ..... 😉 mais que du plaisir, et c'est celà le plus important ......
je crois me rappeler que les grands buffets du soir étaient autour de 30€ par personne, le japonais dans les mêmes prix, ce qui est très cher pour le pays.
Par contre au restaurant thai, 800 à 1000 baht pour 2 avec boissons et 1300 à 1500 au resto chinois.
D'accord avec Alan, pour le petit déj, il faut effectivement arriver à trouver sur le net, un tarif TTC room+ABF pour 2. c'est toujours moins cher que de prendre sur place en plus de la chambre.
la dernière fois, j'avais du payer un peu moins de 5000 B pour deux, soit moins de 100€ pour une chambre deluxe vue rivière.

J'ignore si nous aurons une chambre avec deux twin beds mais je sais que nos enfants partageront notre chambre.Je ne connais pas non plus les dimensions du lit.
A vrai dire cela m'importe peu, je pense que, de toute façon, nous ne devrions pas etre mal logés, cet hotel a l'air vraiment sympa!!!!

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
