Alors voici, je drvrais normalement m'installer au quebec fin 2007, début 2008 avec ma famille. 2a et 2e.
je suis chef de cuisine et ma femme travaille dans le domaine bancaire, je connais plus ou moins le salaire d'un chef de cuisine au quebec . il ya une assez grosse différence entre ici en belgique (bw et bxl ) et au quebec . est ce que quelqu'un a déja travailler au quebec et peut me dire si il y a de grosse différence de salaire entre restaurant au quebec. la vie est moins cher donc c'est compréhensible . mais en général pour un quebecois commment est vu un chef de cuisine est ce un metier bien reconnu . merci d'avance
Oui, les écarts de salaire sont assez important entre l'Europe et ici. Ici, il y a «chef» et «chef», soit que tu travail dans un restaurant ou un hotel de renom et là tu vas faire un bon salaire, car tu as de bon diplômes, de trés bonnes références.....Par contre tout le reste, mais vraiment tout le reste, c'est pas mal la misère, entre $8, 00 et $12, 00 de l'heure........$12, 00, c'est déjà pas si mal, mais....C'est d'ailleurs pour cela que dans cette catégorie de «chef» il y a du travail en masse, les gens changent tout le temps de place.

Toutes mes excuses pour le terme "bordé" emprunté au lagage maritime. En gros ça veut dire dossier prêt : as tu prévu de voir avec le Consulat Canada pour remplir les formalités d'immigration là-bas ?
Car je sais qu'entre autres, ils ne donnent pas le visa si la filière visée n'offre pas assez de débouchés ! Ils pratiquent "l'immigration choisie" comme notre Sarkozy....

Si tout se passe comme prévu pour tes documents, et que tu
peu partir, je te souhaite d'en profiter un maximum, car la
qualité de vie au canaday est fabuleuse.
Ne t'inquiète pas, car dès ton arrivé là bas, il y à des organismes qui
s'occupent des nouveaux arrivant, et ils t'aident jusqu'au bout pour
que tu soit parfaitement instaler, et n'oublie pas que si tu est "reçu"
c'est qu'ils savent bien que tu a toutes tes chances d'y parvenir.
N'oublie pas le dernier gros test, la visite médicale.
Une question me brûle le clavier : à combien s'élève les frais de dossier ( pour tes enfants pour ton épouse, et pour toi) car plusieurs prix différents
mon été communiqué. Je sais que le prix varie suivant les provinces.

Tu a les cites les plus important en dessous, mais sache qu'il vaut mieux faire ta demande au plus vite à partir du moment ou tu décide de faire le grand saut, il y a énormément de demande. Sache aussi que la demande de cuisinier est très forte au québec et c'est surtout sur place que l'on s'en rend compte mais pour entamé quoi que se soit, tes papiers DOIVENT êtres en ordre.

Salut, je suis chef de cuisine, résident permanent au Québec depuis septembre 2007. Comme d'autres te l'ont dit, les salaires sont moins important ici, mais bon, la vie est moins chère aussi. Question tarif horaire, tu peux quand même espérer de 14 à 18 $. Dans certains établissements, 20 à 22$. Mais bien sûr il faut aussi voir le nombre d'heures qu'on te propose. Il te faut un 40 h au moins. Moi j'essaie toujours de négocier une fourchette 40/60h !! Ici, ils n'ont pas trop l'habitude des chefs qui font des semaines de 70 heures.

Nous avons pris quelques vacances ces 15 derniers jours chez des amis à Québec et je regrette de ne pas avoir su avant pour pouvoir vous rencontrer sur place. Je suis allé par curiosité voir votre site et eu la surprise de lire votre CV. Nous avons quitté Megève en 2003 et ai travaillé entre autre aux Darbellets comme vous avec Martine. Ayant aussi beaucoup vadrouillé dans le monde et toujours dans des restaurants cités dans le Michelin je penses sérieusement immigrer avec ma femme et mes deux enfants à Québec. Je suis sidéré par le retard que nous accumulons en France par le refus d'évolution commerciale de travail et de gout...

Je viens de jeter un coup d'oeil à ton site . WOW. J'ai bien ri. Et tu ne peux imaginer à quel point nous nous rejoignons sur de nombreux points. Même ton délire sur YMCA. J'y avais songé lorsque j'avais mon restaurant à Metz dans les années 90, et tu l'as fait ah ah ah .
Bien sûr nous ne jouons pas dans la même cour. Travailler dans de bonnes maisons apporte beaucoup et ouvre des portes. Je ne suis qu'un self made man et mon parcours est plutôt chaotique. mais je partage avec toi la même passion. J'aime les chefs qui font du gastro qui nourrit. LOL

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
