Au début, je n'ai fais que postuler à une offre d'emploi.
Ce soir, conversation téléphonique pour un job de Coordinateur Santé/sécurité/environnement pour un sous traitant de la société exploitant la mine de Koniambo. Gloups, ça se précise.... Mélange d'exitation, de joie et d'appréhension...
Alors j'ai beau lire et relire toutes les discussion dans tous les sens, j'ai un mal de chien à me faire une idée précise de la vie "là bas"...
J'ai 46 ans et j'habite dans les Vosges, avec 66 Habitants /Km², on est loin des 13 Hbt/Km² du caillou, mais encore plus des 21000 de Paris, le côté "brousse" ne me fais pas spécialement peur.
Par contre, comment est la vie dans cette région, est-il possible de lier facilement des contacts si on est comme moi tendance "cool la vie", un salaire annoncé de 3500€ brut permet-il de vivre décemment avec ma copine dans cette région?
Pourrais-je un jour y faire venir mes enfants afin qu'ils découvrent d'autres mode de vie et qu'ils s'enrichissent Humainement de cette expérience?
Alors vous allez me dire "il est ben gentil le gars, mais on a déjà répondu 15000 fois à ces questions....
C'est vrai, mais là, c'est de moi qu'il s'agit! ! ! !

Tu devrais pouvoir vivre avec 420000 CFP par mois sans trop de soucis surtout si tu vis à la cool. Une fois tes enfants sur place c'est sûr que ça rajoutera des frais.
Par contre, compte tenu du poste et de ton expérience ça me paraît sous payé mais ça peut être un bon moyen de te faire un réseau puis de trouver mieux.
Assure toi également de bien signer avant de partir et de signer un CDI car il existe ici certaines boîtes sans scrupule qui sont prêtes à tout.
Côté vie dans le nord, il faut être conscient que cette zone est en plein développement et que les activités sont limitées mais ça devrait s'améliorer avec le temps. Il faut aussi que ta copine réfléchisse au fait qu'elle risque de ne pas travailler et que les journées vont peut-être lui paraître longues.
Pour ce qui est de nouer des contacts, tu noueras probablement contact avec des collègues mais avec les locaux ça risque d'être plus difficile.
Petit conseil, pense à emmener de l'anti-moustique. J'étais à Koné il y a 2 semaines je me suis littéralement fait dévorer...les moustiques doivent adorer la sang de zoreilles.

La donne a changée, j'avais cru comprendre Koné mais c'est en fait sur le site de Goro que je devrais travailler pour la Caltrac. Le principe est d'être "sur base de vie", soit bloqué 4 jours pour 40 heures de travail et repos les 3 autres jours.
Bien évidemment, celà change la donne de cette discussion, le titre n'est plus adapté. Mais les conseils avisés toujours utiles!
Hello, moi aussi, je taf sur Goro, c'est un autre monde ça c'est sur... ça peut être très "surprenant". En tout cas, c'est + proche de Nouméa que Koné, donc ça + sympa si on ne souhaite pas être qu'en brousse.
La base vie n'est pas super intéressante, m'enfin c'est autre chose et le point positif c'est aucune dépense quand tu te trouves sur site.
Voilà, j'ai oublié plein d'autres choses que je voulais dire, m'enfin... Cherche Vale.nc, sur le site, ya une phototèque, tu verras un peu, même si ça ne remplace pas le fait d'être sur place pour comprendre et ressentir les choses.
Si tu es en expat, je trouve pas que le salaire soir trop élevé... mais bien sur, c'est quand même déjà un bon salaire, et vous vous en sortirez bien!

kone est situe au nord de la caledonie
vous etes ds la brousse, c'est amenage de quelques boutiques alimentaires etc mais vous etes en pleine nature
la nouvelle caledonie est une ile preservee, bcp de nature
noumea est une ville avec restaurants et quelques boutiques
si vous aimez la ville, les pierres, l'architecture vous serez bien entendu decu, maintenant si vous aimez vraiment la nature, la vegetation, la mer, la peche etc vous aimerez
a voir ce que votre amie aime, citadine ou pas
j'ai vecu 13 mois, decouvert de belles choses mais la distance, le manque de ville, d'architecture m'a terriblement manque, je le savais avant de partir mais je ne croyais pas a ce point... c'est le but des voyages on apprend tjs sur soi et sur les autres
je garde un bon souvenir même si nous etions plus entre zoreilles que autre....
si vous n'avez rien a perdre, un bon travail en france, même chose pour votre compagne, pourquoi ne pas tenter ?
la vie est assez chere, mais 3500 euros pour 2 personnes c'est faisable.. je pense les loyers a noumea 2 pieces c'est environ 850 euros a 900 euros, kone c'est moins cher, les courses c'est cher, il faut manger local et même le poisson est cher...
il y a aussi des possibilités de faire le tour de l'ile, de camper la ca ne revient pas cher par contre
vers hienghene, ou un peu avant kone ou ds le nord.
plages paradisiaques a l'ile des pins et les iles loyauté...

Travailler à Koné, à l'usine, je suppose? Sinon assez bouché. Il y a du travail à Koné dans l'usine de nickel. Le domaine commercial, ça n'est pas le domaine où ils recherchent le +, mais il doit surement y avoir des possibilités.
