Bonjour, j'aimerais partir au pair avec Calvin-Thomas. Je connais déjà l'organisme puisque je suis partie il y a deux ans en Australie avec eux.
J'aimerais avoir des expèriences de filles au pair, on tombe souvent sur des familles très riches non ? Avec l'oragnisme, on peut avoir trois heures de cours par semaine, mais c'est quoi exactement ?
Ce n'est pas trop ennuyeux d'être avec les enfants toutes la journée ? Est-ce qu'on rencontre beaucoup de jeunes de son age ? Et quels sont les meilleurs plans pour le faire ?

Tu trouves des familles de tous les milieux, qui prennent des au pairs parce que ça revient moins cher que de prendre une nanni.

Je ne sais pas où tu as trouvé ça, mais c'est faux. Tu as droit à une "bourse" de 500$ pour l'ANNEE, ça te donne en général 1h de cours par semaine, pendant 3 mois dans un "college" de banlieue. Pour ma fille, la bourse lui a juste permis de se payer des cours pour étrangers....

Etre au pair, c'est un boulot.... 45h de travail par semaine et 2 semaines de congés payés. Ce n'est pas une partie de plaisir, ou des vacances aux Etats Unis à pas cher.

Il n'y a pas de bon plan ou de mauvais plan pour être au pair. Il y a des conditions à remplir. Si tu connais CT, tu connais certainement les conditions (tu vas sur leur site, c'est facile à trouver).
Désolé de me répéter, mais en te lisant, je n'ai pas l'impression que le programme au pair c'est vraiment ce que tu cherches.

En faisant une petite recherche sur le forum tu verras que, depuis 2006, je réponds très souvent à des filles ou à des garçons qui veulent partir comme au pair aux Etats Unis. Tu constateras que je n'ai jamais cassé personne.

- Je ne vais pas te répondre OUI, on tombe souvent dans des familles très riches, juste pour te faire plaisir.... Tu trouves des familles de tous les milieux dans le programme au pair. Ma fille avait été contactée par une infirmière, maman célibataire....
- Pareil pour les 3h de cours par semaine....

Je vois ton message un peu tard... mais je peux te donner quelques infos concernant Fille Au pair car je suis moi-même partie il ya quelques années.
Les familles ne sont pas forcément "riches", elles peuvent t'accueillir chez elles avec une chambre particulière, te dédommage pour le travail effectué auprès des enfants, et bien sûr tu es logée et nourrie. Tu as le droit à 2 semaines de vacances payées sur l'année. Le travail ( car c'est un travail et une responsabilité) est de 45h par semaine avec les enfants : jouer avec eux, les aider pour leurs devoirs, les transporter à leurs activités et à l'école, préparer les repas... L'objectif également est une intégration dans la famille et participer à cette vie de famille.
En ce qui concerne les cours, tu dispose d' une bourse de 500 dollars et tu dois effectuer (obligatoirement) environ 75h de cours sur l'année. Après avec ton argent de poche tu peux aussi te payer des cours supplémentaires. Il existe des "Community colleges" où les prix sont abordables et tu as accès à pas mal de matières.
Pour rencontrer des jeunes de ton âge, j'encourage à s'inscrire à des activités genre artistiques ou sportives. Et puis il a aussi le meeting de chaque mois où tu peux rencontrer d'autres jeunes filles Au Pair qui habitent autour de chez toi.
Voilà, je suis partie aussi avec Calvin Thomas et je n'ai rien à redire sur cet organisme.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
