J'avais beaucoup d'appréhension mais je suis revenue enchantée. C'est un très beau site avec des ajustements à faire car il est tout nouveau.
La nourriture est bonne et les restos à la carte super (surtout le japonais).
Le seul hic, il n'y a pas d'ambiance, cela manque d'âme. Aucune musique d'ambiance on se croierait dans une cafétéria et non dans un super chic restaurant, la lumière est forte et on entend tout le monde parler, pas de musique.
Le reste tout est OK c'est grand grand et avis aux personnes qui ne veulent pas marcher oubliez cet hôtel.
Nous avons été l'an passé à Riviera Maya au Palladium et nous avons beaucoup aimé. Cette année ( on va au mois de juin) on voulait essayer un autre hôtel . Le Riviera était dans ceux que j'avais retenu mais j'essayai de voir où il était situé par rapport au village de Playa del Carmen et je ne trouve nulle part l'information. Pouvez-vous me renseigner, à savoir si on peut aller à pied au village ou non, sinon est-ce que cela peut se faire en collectivo ou en taxi, environ combien de temps ? Plus proche de Cancun ou plus de l'autre côté, j'essaye de trouver un point de repère pour me situer.

L'hôtel se situe près de Playa Del Carmen à environ 15 minutes en taxi et ne coûte pas très cher environ 15 $. Il se situe à environ 45 minutes en autobus (fourni par Air Transat) de l'aéroport de Cancun.
Comme je le disais c'est un bel hôtel tout en marbre même dans les chambres. Cependant, les portes des douches sont souvent mal ajustées, j'ai oui-dire qu'il y avait des chambres où l'eau coulait à l'extérieur des douches, les toilettes "flushaient" mal, bref c'est neuf mais mal construit... et avec les Mexicains, c'est long à réparer.😉
L'autre point, comme je le disais, il manque d'ambiance dans l'hôtel principal et surtout les restos, c'est même plate!!🤪
Moi, pour le prix, j'ai aimé et apprécié mais sans plus. Je crois qu'avec les années cet hôtel va devenir mieux car ils vont sûrement améliorer des choses. Je n'hésite quand même pas à le recommander en souhaitant que vous serez chanceux d'avoir une chambre sans problème.
Par contre, la piscine est extraordinaire, plein de Palapas et de chaises pour tout le monde. Les cocktails sont très bons (contrairement à d'autres endroits où ils ménagent leur stock). Les gens sont très sympathiques mais il y en a beaucoup qui ne parle pas l'anglais et qui sourit en disant yes yes mais on se rend compte qu'ils n'ont rien compris....
Au fait, j'oubliais, apportez-vous de la monnaie ou des piastres en 1 $ car ils donnent pas de change pour les pourboires, c'est rare comme de l'or en barre.

Est-ce que l'autobus qui t'ammène de l'hotel à l'aéroport fait beaucoup d'arrêt?
Nous pensons prendre un taxi pour ce rendre à l'hotel à l'arrivée car nous voyageons avec un bébé et j'ai bien peur qu'après un vol de 4 heures elle en aura plein son casque! Et s'il faut se taper l'autobus plus le line up à l'hotel...
Je vous le suggère, n'hésitez pas à le faire, mais demander le prix avant et fixez-le avant de quitter l'aéroport, je n'ai aucune confiance aux mexicains. Nous avons effectivement fait la "run de lait" comme on dit et nous sommes arrivés style 1 heure après ou même plus, nous étions super écoeurés et fatigués. Nous nous sommes justement dits que la prochaine fois nous prendrions un taxi. Votre idée est donc excellent surtout avec un bébé ouf faites-le n'hésitez pas.🙂
Bon séjour, j'y retournerais dès demain, la semaine de retour a été difficile pour le travail, quand on voit les bancs de neige, et rattraper tout le travail qui nous attend, môman que c'est dur la vie!!
Nous prendrons un transport que nous avons réservé à l, avance et qui nous attendra à la sortie là bas. Nous sommes 7 avec les enfants donc ça nous prend une mini van absoluement.
Le parcours de l'autobus de l'aéroport à l'hotel est différent d'un grossiste à l'autre et ça dépend du nombres de passagers. Nous avons fait deux arrêts et nous étions à l'hotel en 45 minutes avec TMR. Cependant, sans arrêt, ça prend environ 30 minutes.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
