Comme les frères Vienne le disaient à juste titre, pour leur docummentaire animalier "La griffe et la dent" :
" De grands cycles composent la vie sauvage : le cycle commun de la survie, fait d'alternance entre la quête et le repos, pour des finalités essentielles : nourriture, accouplement, lutte pour la survie des petits. A la nuit tombée (mais cela se produit aussi en journée), un autre monde apparait qui s'organise par le sang et la mort. Tout est désormais lutte ou esquive".
