Je pars pour punta cana le 12 avril avec mon copain et ce sera notre permier voyage à tous les 2. Je suis un peu inquiète à propos de l'hotel car j'ai lu beaucoup de commentaires négatifs (chambres...propreté...etc.) J'aimerais savoir si certains sont déjà allés séjourner à cet hotel et si c'était si pire que ca ??
Est-ce vraiment l'ancien hotel "Ocean cana beach resort"?? Car je ne trouve pas beaucoup d'information sur "Barcelo cana beach"...Est-ce la même chose que Barcelo Punta cana ? Le changement de bannière est-il si récent?

Je viens de rentrer de l'hotel Barcelo Dominican Beach situé à Punta Cana, il y a 3 jours.... Je l'ai trouvé superbe, bien insonorisé, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien climatisées. J'y ai passé une semaine complète avec ma soeur et je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous. Ma chambre donnait sur la piscine et je n'ai en aucun cas gênée par le bruit... Tout le personnel de l'hotel est très gentil, serviable et souriant....Les buffets sont copieux et diversifiées, les restaurants également..... Le meilleur à mon goût est le japonais où le cuisinier est un spectacle à lui tout seul, je recommande également l'italien dans lequel j'ai dégusté une livre de langouste pour 15 dollars de supplément... Tout est mis à disposition dans cet hôtel afin que le touriste s'y trouve bien.... Les différents bars et snacks sont biens également, vous pouvez manger et boire à tout heure du jour et de la nuit. Nous avons bien aimé ma soeur et moi le bar "Le Café" où nous avons pu goûté plusieurs sortes de café froids ou chauds à notre convenance.Le seul bémol est dans la boutique internet dans laquelle il n'y a pas de webcam.... Mais sinon rien à redire, il y a des spectacles différents tous les soirs.....En résumé nous avons passé des vacances idylliques dans un cadre paradisiaques (comme sur les cartes postales), je pense que la prochaine fois j'irais avec mon mari afin de lui faire découvrir cet endroit magnifique

Il s'agit effectivement du même complexe le Cana et Barcelo Dominican sont côte à côte, chacun a sa piscine, mais celle du Barcelo Dominican est mieux.
J'y avais séjourné en début 2006 et il s'appelait à l'époque L'Ocean Bavaro (ou Cana) Spa & Beach Resort, le changement de nom a dû se faire courant 2006 ou début 2007.
Un petit bémol : les chambres sont très inégales, certaines sont bien, d'autres bcp moins, mais il ne faut pas hésiter à demander un changement à l'accueil si cela ne vous convient pas.
C'est effectivement ce que j'avais pu comprendre en lisant les différents commentaires sur le dominican beach. Je n'hésiterai pas à demander un changement de chambre si jamais elle n'a pas de bon sens.
😉 Je te trouve bien chanceuse de pouvoir aller à cet hotel. Nous y sommes allés en 2006 et en 2007 et c'est très bien. L'an passé en 2007, je l'ai suggéré à ma soeur et mon beau frère et ils ont tellement aimé qu'ils sont retournés cette année, ils sont revenus dimanche le 30 mars. Il faut comprendre que l'hotel a changé de propriétaire au cours des derniers mois, alors tout le monde a une période d'ajustements autant pour les employés que pour les propriétaires et tout le rouli-roulant.
C'est le même hotel que l'Océan Cana Beach resort, que le Barcelo Cana Beach mais maintenant il s'appelle bien Bavaro Dominican.
N'ayez aucune crainte, vous passerez de belles vacances à cet hotel. BON VOYAGE!!!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
