Je reviens de Punta cana, j'y étais du 29/11 au 06/12 à l'hotel Ocean Blue.
Ma conclusion : WWHHAAOOUU !!!
Nous sommes arrivés ce matin à Paris à 07h50, laissant 27 degrés et le ciel bleu derrière nous, nous avons attéris à Paris sous la brume et sous 4 degrés.
Pour ce qui est de l'hotel Ocean Blue de Punta cana, il est super, c'est l'un des meilleurs que j'ai fait : acceuil formidable, les dominicains ont toujours le sourire et ils fredonnent assez souvent une petite chanson suivis d'un pas de danse de salsa ou de merengue.
La chambre de type coloniale comportait 2 lits assez grands pour ne se servir que d'un, il y a tellement à dire sur notre séjour.
L'hotel a 5 étoiles, certes en normes locales, mais on a pu voir la qualité du service:ils s'appliquent pour les garder au dîner, déjeuner, les serveurs, les barmens, la propeté.. bref nous parlions dans l'avion au retour avec d'autres touristes de cet hotel et difficile de trouver des points négatif, hormis pour vraiment trouver un point négatif, les travaux à l'acceuil (acceuil qui est loin des chambres, donc aucune nuisances sonores) .
Nous n'avons pas fait d'excursion avec l'hotel car trop cher, nous sommes passés par Captain'pat : une société tenue par Patricia à bayahibe, elle est française et ses collaborateur sont sérieux.
Si vous voulez d'autres explicatiosn sur l'un des points, je suis dispo car moi internet et voyage forum m'ont été utiles pour mon choix de voyage.
Oui trés trés content de ce séjour, et je ne suis pas le seul français à penser cela.
Même si une présence assez forte des américains, qui parlent assez fort, on a pu rencontrer des australiens, des canadiens et des québécois ( attention on ne confond pas).
Je tiens a dire que vous avez avez un pays à préservez tellement il est superbe, la relation à la nature y a une grande importance.

Si tu te sens capable de venir en RD mais hors formule tout-inclus, tu verras que ce sera une expérience encore mieux😉. Mais bon, je sais que de fois c'est encore plus cher car en venant avec le séjour de l'hôtel, tu as le billet de l'avion inclut.

Tout d'abord en ce qui concerne la plage :
elle était prore, certes un petit peu d'algues, mais rien de comparable à la mer du nord ou de Belgique (😉je suis de Lille).
Le matin il y a bcp plus de vagues que l'aprés-midi, on a pu s'éclater comme des enfants dans les vagues.
je ne connais pas votre hotel, mais ça doit être partout pareil : on avait un accès à internet contre 4/5 dollars, les 10/15 minutes.
J'ai pu appeler avec mon gsm français depuis la république dominicaine, c'était un appel court, donc ça va mais sinon j'ai vu il y a des cartes téléphones prépayés.
Sur la plage, a côté de notre Hotel, il y avait qq cabanons où ils vendent un peu de tout, il ne faut pas hésiter à négocier en commençant à 50%de leur prix.
N'hésites pas si d'autres questions
sinon bonne vancances, profitez-en bien car ça passe trés vite
PS: compares pour les excrusions : pour la même excursion, on a eu l'île Saona à 45 euros (soit 115 dollar pour 2) contre 99 euros à l'intérieur de l'hotel, via Captain'pat.Patricia a un site internet, mais avant tout compare sur intetrnet les prestations des excursions et surtout le prix

Certes tu prends une journée depuis Punta Cana (départ 06h30/07h00 - retour 19h30/20h00), mais ça vaut le coup.
On a passé 01h30 en minibus, si il y a une seule excursion faire, pour moi, c'est celle-ci, maintenant on avait qu'une seule semaine.
2 excursions pour 1 semaine 1/2 c'est bien, enfin selon vos goûts, mais moi pour Saona, j'en ai pris plein les yeux.
mais ça dépend de vos goûts, il y a le safari, la journée avanture... pour nosu nous ce sera pour la prochaine fois

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
