Pour que des clients puissent sejourner dans un hotel, le TO doit avoir un contrat avec l'hotel; ou il sera precise ce que le tout-inclut represente vraiment (bouteille d'eau a la chambre ou non, nombre de restos a la carte durant la semaine, boisson a partir de quelle heure et si oui dans la discotheque attenante, etc).
J'ai un grand ami qui a cet aspect dans son travail avec GTD, visiter les hotels, faire les contrats apres le choix d'hotel pour la saison suivante, et faire le suivi de la qualite des services offerts et prevus. 😉 Ca semble etre du serieux! 😛
Il doit y avoir un petit cote aventure dans le choix d'hotel a l'arrivee mesemble! 😎 Cool!

Je suis vraiment etonnee... car il faut un contrat avec un hotel pour pouvoir y "installer" des clients!! Principalement que les TO obtiennent des prix differents bases sur la reservation en gros... Il arrive que l'on installe dans un hotel ne fesant pas parti de la liste, avec contrat parfois oral, parcequ'un hotel ne repond plus aux normes de services ou securite...
Je me souviens du Talanquera qui avait change de proprios apres la signature du contrat et dont les plaintes des clients affluaient. L'hotel a du respecte le contrat, sinon, les clients auraient ete changes d'endroit sans hesitation!! C'etait prevu qu'ils soient relocalises dans les autres hotels de la liste, quitte a leur offrir un hotel avec plus d'etoiles, et il y avait le Canoa Coral a Bayahibe qui avait ete contact au cas ou...
Hummmm ca demeure a etre verifier! 😉 Bah, ca signifie aussi toute une aventure en perspective! En autant que les etoiles sont respectes... 😎

je suis allée avec mon conjoint dans un Wild Card, du 26 janvier au 4 février dernier. On nous a installé au Blue Bay Getaway.
Superbe voyage! Cet hôtel a été complètement rénové et est réouvert depuis novembre 2006. Tout est neuf et super beau. Le blanc prédomine. Le staff parlent tous français et sont terriblement charmants. Nous avons été logés dans une villa tout près d'un pont qui nous amenait à la plage. Je leur donnerai un 12/10 pour la propreté des lieux. Même les salles de bains de la plage était astiquées au 10 minutes! Nous avons mangé comme des rois. Les restos à la carte sont digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. Nous avons mangé du Châteaubriand et des fruits de mers succulents! Si vous désirez manger de la Langouste, il faut réserver à l'avance auprès du service à la clientèle à la réception. pour 20$ US, vous avez de très grosses langoustes. Ça vaut la peine.
L'eau de la mer à cet endroit est un peu brouillée. mais par contre, tu marches à peine 3 minutes et tu as une super belle eau claire. Tu peux aussi y pratiquer de l'apnée et tu verras pleins de poissons tropicaux près des récifs au bout de la baie qui est tout près.
Bref, j'ai très hâte à l'an prochain et si le Wild Card existe encore et qu'on peux y aller pour aussi peu que cette année, c'est certain que nous le referons. Quitte à être relogés au même endroit!

🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
