Je viens poster ce sujet ici après avoir consulté pas mal de sujet sur le cambodge sans vraiment trouver de réponse à mes questions. S'il n'a pas sa place dans cette rubrique je m'en excuse d'avance. Je suis age de 27 ans, je fais parti de cette génération d'enfant dont les parents ont émigré lors de la guerre. Aujourd'hui je suis de nationalitée francaise, après avoir obtenu mon BAC, j'ai du me lancer dans la vie active suite au déces de mes parents. Je suis très reconnaissant à la France pour son accueil mais je me sens déraciné et dans le context social de ces dernière années je ne me vois pas d'avenir en France. Las de galerer depuis des années de vivre "juste pour vivre", je souhaiterai rentrer au Cambodge et essayer d'offrir mes maigres compétences pour la reconstruction de ce pays et par la même occasion essayer de retrouver des gens de ma famille.
C'est donc la que j'aurai besoin de vos conseils, pensez vous qu'il est possible pour un émigré de retourner dans son pays d'origine et de pouvoir y trouver un travail, peu m'importe le poste, j'ai travaillé dans de nombreux domaines, de la manutention à la restauration en passant par le batiment. de plus comment sont percu "ceux qui sont partis" ? Je n'ai aucune prétentions et je dispose juste de mes petites économies pour relancer ma vie la bas... J'aimerai dans l'idéal bosser pour une ONG ou autre institutions à caractère social, mais malheuresement au vu des annonces je n'ai pas les études ni l'expériences nécessaires pour les postes.
Enfin dans tous les cas, rien ne me retiens en France, et j'aspire à "rentrer" à plus ou moins long terme, si d'autres avant moi on déjà tenté l'aventure ou si vous avez des expériences à partager, je suis preneur de tout conseil qui me permettrait de me réinsérer au Cambodge
Moi aussi je suis d'origine cambodgienne, mais je vis en Belgique... Je vais de temps en temps au cambodge, je repars dans deux semaines... pour un mois...
Tu sais surement; comment la vie est difficile sur place.. je pense que le mieux pour toi est de mettre un max de coté en france... et puis monter ta propre affaire au Cambodge... l'esprit d'entreprise..

suite à mes séjours au Cambodge, j'ai l'impression que le travail est rare et que ça marche beaucoup au piston. Le népostisme semble très courant aussi.
Il faut avoir un ami qui connait un ami, ou bien un membre de la famille déjà en poste. Avoir un diplôme ne suffit pas.
Côté salaire, je crois que le salaire moyen est de 70-100 USD si ce n'est moins. Du coup il parait que 200 USD est considéré comme un bon salaire.
Par contre avec cela, inutile d'espérer économiser pour un billet d'avion pour revenir en France au cas où le retour au pays ne marche pas.
De plus, on a beau être d'orgine Cambodgienne on adopte quand même la mentalité de son pays d'accueil. Du coup s'adapter au mode de vie au Cambodge n'est pas si évident que ça.
J'ai rencontré un Cambodgien qui a vécu au Canada, il a déménagé pour vivre au Cambodge. Au bout d'un an il voulait repartir au Canada car il n'arrivait pas à s'y faire.
D'un autre côté j'ai rencontré un étudiant en médecine d'origine cambodgienne qui y était au départ en vacance et qui finalement y vit définitivement.
j'ai lu ton recit et je suis exactement dans le meme cas que toi et j'ais une proprosition a te faire pour rentrer au pays, afin de développer un projet.

Moi aussi je suis un enfant de parents nes au Cambodge et qui ont ensuite emigre en France. Je suis ne a Paris il y a 27 ans, et apres plusieurs pays (Etats-Unis, Espagne, Angleterre...) je vis maintenant a Singapour.
Mon but est egalement de "rentrer" au Cambodge. J'y ai mis les pieds pour la premiere fois il y a un an et souhaite m'y installer de facon "permanente" (qu'il y a t-il bien vraiment permanent dans ce monde?).
Bien qu'ayant fait une ecole de commerce en Europe et maintenant travaillant dans une banque d'affaires, je n'eprouve pas de satisfaction, mais une frustration enorme de ne pas donner plus de sens a ce que je fais.
Pas d'illusion ou d'idees pre-concues: Je verrai bien ce que je trouverai au Cambodge.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
