Avec 2 amis, on compte s'installer en Thaïlande vers Octobre - Novembre 2008. On a cherché un peu partout les renseignements et il nous manque surtout le souci du logement. Même si on part là bas avec des tantes, on préfère partir l'esprit tranquille. C'est pour ça qu'on aimerait savoir si une personne sur place pourrait nous aider à bien démarrer notre nouvelle vie (adresse pour logement, pourquoi pas travail, ...). Bref, un contact ne serait pas de refus. Nous n'avons pas encore choisi la ville où s'installer mais on est ouvert a toute proposition.

Juste pour info, en Thailande tu ne travaille pas comme ca surtout sans métier qualifié, il faut être employé par une compagnie qui t'obtiendra un work permit, sinon c'est la sortie assurée a court terme dans le meilleur des cas et pas de retour possible.

Tu es tombé sur l'équipe de choc de VF... il est vrai que quintette "FlopFlop, Barbot, MengWan, Thuan, Boumbastic" ne pardonne pas une question aussi utopique, mais crois-moi, j'ai beaucoup lu sur ce forum, et ils sont tous de bon conseil. Les sarcasmes mis à part, ils ont parfaitement raison de te chahuter un peu.
15 jours de vacances dans ce pays, dont la plupart des farangs tombent amoureux, ne sont pas révélateurs d'une vie à long terme en thailande.
De plus, tu as eu une excellente réponse de la part de Barbot (lien) et si tu n'as pas suffisamment d'argent pour subvenir a tes besoins, sans travailler, je vous vois assez mal partis, toi et tes potes.

C'est malin vous l'avez dégoûté le pauvre... ça faisait longtemps (vacances et coupure internet oblige car je part bientôt...) un coucou à tout ceux que j'apprécie (ils se reconnaitront je pense)
Si vous partez vous s'installer 15 jours, cela devrait bien se passer en prenant la peine de trouver quelques bonnes guest houses(laisses tomber les "tentes"). Ceci dit, si vous n'avez pas un portefeuille bien rempli, les thaïs vous appelerons par derrière les touristes "Khi nok" crottes d'oiseaux mais cela ne vous empèchera pas de passer un bon séjour avec un minimum de 20 € par jour.
Par contre si réellement vous voulez vous installez, je vous dis clairement oubliez. A moins d'avoir pas besoin de travailler avec un minimum de 1500 € par mois de revenu, sans fêtes à gogo et si possible en zone rurale (pas de phuket, koh samui...). De toute façon la plupart des emplois sont réservés aux Thaïs, de plus vous n'aurez pas de visa pour travailler.
Je vous donne la solution : vous vous inscrivez à la fac ou dans une école de commerce, vous sortez avec un bon diplome dans 5 ans, vous vous faites embauché par une multi-nationales et après avoir fait vos preuves, vous demandez à partir remonter le chiffre d'affaires de la boite en Thaïlande.
Malheureusement ou heureusement la Thaïlande ne souhaite que des touristes où de riches locataires qui dépensent leurs argents gagnés à l'étranger.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
