j ai vecu 3 ans en uruguay mais plus particulierement a punta del este et suis reparti il y a 2 ans...j ai travaille pour mon compte dans l immobilier....j y retourne 2 semaines en avril...qu est ce qui t a amene a montevideo??? je t avouerai que je ne pense pas que cela soit facile pour toi de trouver un emploi salarié: il faut tjs se poser la question quel est l avantage pour une boite de recruter un etranger plutot qu un local (en particulier dans l hotellerie ou ils ont ce qu il faut!!!)....mais bon tout est possible aussi...
quel est ton but? combien de temps tu penses rester??

Bein le but c'est d'y rester quelques années, d'y vivre koi, tout simplement, et l'avantage d'être "etranger" quand on cherche un travail dans le tourisme c'est les langues, parler espagnol, anglais et français doit surement être un plus...
Oui je connais punta del este, ça à dut bien marcher ton business dans l'immobilier las bas!
Je souhaite m'installer en urugauy donc, a montevideo et je voudrai savoir combien me couterai en euro d'acheter un commerce la bas et qu'elle sont les activité qui marche bien? ( j'avait pensé a une pizzeria ou boulangerie française ou autre)
Etant d'origine armenienne j'aimerai savoir ou se trouve le quartier armenien de montevideo ( ou a défaut si il existe un quartier français)
Est ce que la vie est chère? de combien est le salaire moyen? les loyers sont t-il abordable?
Montevideo est une tres bonne ville pour y vivre, vraiment, et niveau visa de travail (pas touristique) c'est pas mal de formalitees mais c'est facile à avoir (comparé à d'autres pays d'amerique du sud).
Pour monter un commerce je ne peux pas vraiment t'aider, contact la chambre de commerce Française de montevideo.
Ils seront te renseigner.
Pour une pizzeria, de mon avis ça ne sert à rien, il y en a deja pas mal et des tres bonnes, ensuite pour une boulangerie, c'est un peu pareil, peu etre plus une patisserie mais vraiment europeene.
De ma connaissance il n'y a pas de quartier armenien ni français. mais beaucoup d'etranger sont à Pocitos ou Carasco ( trés beaux quartiers).
Pour le niveau de vie, les choses basiques comme le loyer et les courses c'est commes la France, pour ce qui est des bar, restau et "extra" c'est pas cher.
Quand au salaires cela dépend vraiment de la profession la bas ( le salaires moyen est de 800 euros, mais le salaires minimum est de 200 euros et je connais des français qui gagnent jusqu'à 1500 euros... donc ça dépend vraiment de ce que tu fais).
Es-tu déja à Montevideo?

Je veux m'installer en Uruguay avec mon fils de 11ans. Est ce qu'on peut m'aider à ce sujet: trouver un job, le coût approximatif d'une location, de la vie, transport, .....
Même avec 1500 euros, est-ce qu'on arrive à payer le loyer, les courses, l'assurance santé...si vous dites que c'est le meme qu'en France??? Alors une famille de 5 personnes aura besoin de combien en moyenne / mois pour vivre normalement??
Une autre question : qu'en pensez-vous du steakhouse?? est-ce que c'est bien apprecié???

Je trouve personnellement tres difficile de trouver du travail en Uruguay, c'est un petit pays qui fonctionne en résau...
Les pizzerias sont deja tres presentes, les restau de viandes encore plus (c'est LE plat national !), les boulangeries françaises ne sont frequentées que par qques français (ce qui fait peu de clientèle...) mais boudées par les uru qui apprécient d'autres gouts...(elles ferment les unes apres les autres).
Les uruguayens aiment consommer uruguayen, et ils font à peu près de tout, et plutot bien.
Le cout de la vie augmente sans cesse, tres forte inflation.
L'Uruguay est un pays tres agreable à vivre, mais mieux vaut avoir un bas de laine... ou une idée de génie ;-) ou mieux : connaitre des uruguayens ;-)

Je ne connais pas le Paraguay, mais aux dires d'une connaisance vivant là bas et marié à une paraguayenne, là bas les choses sont moins cadrées qu'en Uruguay, c'est le pays de la "combine", voire de la magouille... un peu comme dans le reste de l'Amerique du Sud.

J'ai quitté l'Uruguay il y a 18 mois, pour d'autres aventures.
Le cout de la vie a encore augmenté bien sûr, l'inflation s'arrête rarement en route...
Vos 6 mois vont coïncider avec l'hiver, sachez qu'il y est froid et (tres) humide.
Vous aurez toutefois un aperçu du beau printemps en fin de mission.
Quant à votre budget, aucune idée... j'ai décroché, je ne saurais pas vous dire.
Vous devriez contacter une association de francophones, ou l'ambassade.
La vie culturelle en hiver va être pauvre je le crains, mais vous avez qd même qques théâtres et concerts au Solis qui devraient être de belle qualité.
Quant au réseau emploi.... court ou long terme, réseau ou non, j'ai rarement vu qqu'un trouver du travail sur place en 6 ans de résidence.
Désolée si ma perception est assez négative, mais globalement c'est pour moi un pays très routinier (boulot, asado, foot, boulot, asado, foot....) où l'on s'ennuie et où il n'y a pas de movida.
Mes qques copains uruguayens ne seraient pas d'accord bien sûr 😉, mais chacun sa perception selon ses références, sa culture, son histoire, son mode de vie.
J'espère que vous saurez profiter du meilleur (gauchos, campo, Punta del Diablo, tango, Buenos Aires tout proche...) et rassurez-vous, votre séjour étant court, vous devriez en repartir avec une vision plus "douce" que la mienne.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
