bonjour aurelie, je viens d'avoir des nouvelles sur l'hotel par une dame qui en revient.en grde ligne mahdia super, sur l'hotel il est très propre et super piscine, c déja bon! la nourriture pas asser variée, et pas trops d'animation, mais comme elle le dit c'étais hors saison et sa irra en s'améliorant.
quand j'aurai d'autre info je les ferai suivre .

😉bonsoir, je rentre l'hotel vincci nour, pour la thalasso, c'est super, tu ne vas pas le regretter, c'est de moi que parlais nougat 69!!! tu peux partir en toute tranquilité, l'hotel est super propre, très bon accueil et le personnel est très plaisant, toujours à votre service, et s'il y a un petit soucis dans la chambre, c'est réparé dans la demi heure qui suit!!! oui je disais que la nourriture n'étais pas trop variée, mais je pense que cela va changer nous y sommes allés la semaine du 28 avril au 6 mai!! mais tout va changer du fait de l'afflu ence des touristes, bien francophone!! et un peu d'italiens bien bruillant car verbe haut!! pas trop de russe comme ou nour palace( hotel qui jouxte le vincci nour) nous avons fait une sortie avec un couple de fontenay sous bois et elle nous a dit qu'il n'y avait que 3 couples de français, tout le reste c'était des italiens, des allemands... et en super nombre la mafia russe!!! elle les voyait alligner les billets de 500 e au change, elle était dégoutée!!!!
mais revenons au vincci nour, pour la thalasso les soins sont extras et tu vas profiter de la piscine en eau de mer!réservée spécialement à la thalasso, moi je prenais des soins optionnels rien que pour pouvoir en profiter!!!
le hammam est un peu dur car surchauffé, mais c'est le but!!!! et tout le personnel est sympa!!
pour les sorties tu peux y aller en toute confiance tu peux te promener en toute tranquilité car les souks sont très propres et on ne cherche pas a tout prix à te vendre!! chose qui est très agréable!!! si tu veux d'autres renseignements je suis prete à te les donner comme les sorties proposées par jet tours ou l'hotel et mon avis!!!! bonnes vacances!! et bonne thalasso!! si tu te lie facilement tu trouveras facilement des gens qui cherchent eux aussi à ne pas rester seuls!! nous cela a été notre cas!! et notre carnet d'adresse s'est encore allourdie de 2 couples d'amis!!! alors tu vois!!! 😄😄😄😄
😉bonjour, bien sur que je vais prendre le temps de te répondre!!! nous avons pris les sorites opionnelles proposées par jet tours sur place (d'ailleurs proposées par l'hotel aussi)
1- tunis carthage sisi bou sîad ( nous ne l'avons pas faites car il était prévu de la pluie toute la journée et la sortie se fait sur la journée complète) départ de très bonne heure, mais cela devait valoir le coup car sidi bou saîd est très joli!!! dommage ce sera pour une prochaine fois peut etre
2- monastyr-sousse-port el kantaoui : à monastyr on a visité le mausolé de bourguiba (si tu as été au maroc à rabbat cela correpond au mausolé de hassan v en moins grandiose!!!) la ville de sousse est très attractive, tu te promènes sans risques dans les souks et c'est super propre!!! port el kantaoui j'ai moins aimé si tu connais le cap d'agde cela y ressemble beaucoup, d'un coté tout autour de la marina tu as tous les bateaux ammarés et de l'autre coté il y a des boutiques, des cafés et des retos, des entrées dans les résidence des proprio pas fauchés!!! avec gardes à l'entrée!! il y a moins de monde qu'au cap d'agde, mais il n'était que 16 h et le soir cela doit grouiller de monde
3- kairouan visite des 4 mosquées, des bassins d'aprovissionnenet en eaux, petite projection de film sur le passé de kairouan, visite de la manufacture de tapis!!! c'est traditionnel, et comme nous n'étions qu'un groupe de 8 le guide est resté avec nous tout le temps libre, nous a montré toutes les curiosités du souk, cela est aussi très tranquille et très aéré, pas comme au maroc, et il nous a emmené dans une patisserie tunisienne je te dis pas les gateaux à base de pate d'amande un vrai régal!! en plus c'était artisanal!! tu te laisse bien tenter!!
4- nous avons fait le tour de la ville de mahdia organisée avec un guide en petit train touristique, cela est bien agréable car il nous explique tout
5- le vendredi il ne faut pas louper le marché de mahdia une belle curiosité, cela grouille de monde, mais c'est calme et personne ne vous agresse pour acheter, on visite à notre rythme, et dans le porche de l'entrée du souk tu vas voir toutes les femmes qui vendent leur productions artisanales avec tous les fils d'argent et d'or ce sont de magnifiques pièces (bien sur que nous ne portons pas mais qui valent le coup d'etre admirées)
De ton coté tu peux visiter les souks très tranquillement, cela ne crains rien, on te propose de rentrer faire le tour de la boutique, on ne t'accroche pas pour t'obliger à acheter, et à la sortie on te donne encore le !!! thé à la menthe traditionel!!!
tu as un petit centre commercial disons à 400m de l'hotel ou tu peux faire l'aprovisionnement en eau minérale (4 fois moins cher qu'a l'hotel et tu la mets dans le frigo de ta chambre!!!!) et les boutiques sont très bien placés pour les prix par rapport à ce que nous avons vus!!! en particulier une boutique tout à fait au bout avant la location des quad ou c'est le royaume du faux!!! toutes les marques!! et il faut monter à l'étage pour en voir plus!!!!après on achète ou on achète pas!!! dison qu'on se laisse quand même tenter, surtout lorsqu'on a une commande bien précise des petites filles pour des ceintures ou the shirt!!! ou basquets "converses"
si tu veux faire des sorties qui sont soit du matin soit de l'après midi tu as toujours la possibilité de t'arranger avec la thalasso pour la programmation des soins!!!
bon je crois que j'ai été très bavarde as tu une adresse internet si oui mets la moi en message privé, et je t'enverrais un montage panoramique de l'hotel avec la piscine et des photos de l'entré de l'hotel que l'on ne voit jamais sur les brochures!!! mais aucune obligation si tu ne veux pas!!!! bonne soirée et à bientot peut etre

Hey, I’d like to know which hotel in the south doesn’t force you to wake up at 4 AM just to reserve a shady chair, whether it’s at the beach or the pool.
I wanted to share a great discovery in the Marakele area because, in the end, this park doesn’t get talked about much compared to Kruger, even though it’s really worth the detour.
We discovered Cypiro Leopard Lodge, right next to Marakele National Park in the Waterberg. It’s a small property with just a few villas and suites, so it’s nothing like the big, crowded lodges. What we loved most was the feeling of being truly at the end of the world—lots of space, silence, and almost no one around.
And yet, it’s only about 3 hours from Johannesburg. Once you leave Joburg, the road is pretty straightforward, and you quickly find yourself in a much wilder Africa.
Marakele National Park was a huge surprise for us. There are plenty of animals, the Big Five are present, but best of all, very few people. At times, we drove for quite a while without seeing another car. It’s such a change from parks where you sometimes end up with 15 cars around one animal.
The landscapes are also stunning, with the Waterberg mountains, plains, and beautiful views from some of the trails.
We also learned on-site that Marakele is known for its very large Cape vulture colony—around 800 breeding pairs. When you climb into the mountains and see them soaring above, it’s pretty impressive.
The entire Waterberg region is actually a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve, and you quickly understand why once you’re there.
As for Cypiro, it’s a lodge that was recently taken over by French owners—really nice and approachable. The place is quite exclusive since there are very few accommodations. The villas and suites each have their own private pool, a wood-fired hot bath (like a KolKol), a braai, and an outdoor fireplace.
Evenings are especially lovely, especially with the peace and quiet all around.
Another thing we found really convenient: you can organize your stay however you like.
You can come self-catering and cook for yourself. There’s a supermarket in the nearby small town, practically on the way in, so you can do your shopping before arriving without making a big detour.
Or you can ask them to organize everything with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their chef, Ernest, cooks really well, and it lets you completely unwind for a few days.
We liked being able to alternate: some quiet meals on our own and others prepared for us.
That’s actually one of the things we appreciated here—it’s not an ultra-formal lodge where everything is scheduled at fixed times. You can head out early to Marakele, come back for lunch, enjoy the pool, go back out in the late afternoon, then have a braai or a relaxed dinner in the evening.
In terms of price, we also found the value for money really good for this level of accommodation and especially for the very private feel of the place. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a much more expensive lodge.
If you’re looking for lots of activity and dozens of people around you, this probably isn’t the right spot.
But for peace, wildlife, nature, wide-open spaces, and that feeling of being a little alone in the world, we absolutely loved it.

And if anyone knows Marakele or the Waterberg well, I’d love to hear about other spots to discover in the area.
While digging through the archives 🔍, we discovered a 19th-century journal 📜 bearing the name: "Le Petit Baigneur, weekly journal of beaches, spa towns, and thermal resorts in the South of France", published as early as 1886. Its motto? "All for the baths and by the baths" 🏖️ — what a program!
We found the name so amusing that we chose it to rename our hotel: Hôtel Le Petit Baigneur!
140 years later, we’re carrying on this seaside tradition of the South of France in our own way 🏊♂️ — with a few fewer crinolines, but just as much love for the seaside. 😊

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
