Les mêmes prestations que celles aquisent, sont toujours disponibles sur le site de ce prestataire de service, d'où ma décision d'officialiser dans l'intérêt d'autrui.🙂

Hummmm, je ne peux répondre à ce point précis, Lastminute.com ne m'a jamais fait part de ce détail quand même fort important... ni avant, ni après. Je le déplore nemo. Je n'ai connu et traité qu'avec cette agence de voyage.... pour la dernière fois.

Toujours pas de réponse de Lastminute suite au courrier posté en recommandé avec AR... reproduit dans un précédent post. Rien, même pas quelques mots de circonstance et sans frais, par le si facile moyen du mail. Que du mépris de la part de Lastminute! Cette agence de voyage qui oeuvre plus particulièrement sur le net est vraiment à éviter, même à fuir absolument. En tout cas, hélas, je constate, une fois plus, à travers l'écrit ci-dessus, que je ne suis pas seul à vivre cet sentiment affreux du mépris par le silence. J'ai décidé, par conséquent, moi aussi, de ne pas lâcher Lastminute.com dans le temps. A cet effet, toutes les occasions qui me sont données seront saisies pour mettre en garde les clientes et les clients potentiels du risque qu'ils encourent en choisissant cette société. Il est de mise que je ne manquerais pas l'occasion, sans tomber dans l'acharnement, de faire savoir l'état d'esprit qui règne en cette entreprise... qui sait ramasser le fric mais aussi, malheureusement, mépriser et abandonner lâchement ses clients. C'est hélas vrai pour l'antenne Lastminute.com qui oeuvre sur le territoire national. Après reflexion, je me réserve aussi le droit, sans esprit de revanche trop exagéré, d'amener un jour Lastminutes.com à se mettre juridiquement hors des clous, comme on dit. Si tel était le cas, il est de mise que je ne manquerais pas alors de l'assigner devant la juridiction compétente en sollicitant de l'autorité de justice, au final, d'imposer en le rendu du jugement, une large diffusion à travers quelques médias choisis. Je ne m'étendrais pas plus sur ce sujet, ce lieu virtuel n'étant pas le meilleur endroit pour s'étendre plus longuement sur ce point précis.
Il faut dire que c'est bien la première fois, chez moi, que ne sera mise en oeuvre la notion du pardon qui m'habite généralement au quotidien. Ce profond mépris de la part de Lastminute.com a laissé, chez moi, un gout d'amertume très désagréable. Il est cruel que Lastminute.com puisse pulvériser volontairement ou par inconséquence, quelques rares moments de bonheur tant espérés et attendus, par des clients confiants, à travers un voyage, le plus souvent programmé après de réels sacrifices financiers, trop lourds pour les plus démunis. Mesdames et messieurs qui représentez indignement Lastminute.com, vous n'avez pas le droit de faire cela...!!!

Je viens de recevoir par mail un réponse de Last.minute suite à ma réclamation. Celle ci n'est pas satisfaisante en ce qui concerne leur défense du choix de l'hotel. En revanche ils ont consenti à faire un geste commercial et je les en remercie. Reste que se défendre en disant que les hotels sont évalués selon leur norme locale est selon moi une hérésie. C'est la porte ouverte à des réclamations de la part d'une clientèle française habituée à d'autres standards...A eux de voir si ils veulent continuer à décevoir des clients ou s'ils veulent vraiment vendre des produits de qualité qui auront été au préalable vérifiés

Lorsque j'ai eu un operateur en ligne celui ci m'a signalé qu'un des vols que je souhaitais n'était plus disponible je lui ai donc dit que j'annulais tout ce qui avait ete reserve auparavant.

J’ai réservé un séjour d’une semaine en Tunisie du 17 au 24 avril 2011 pour 3 personnes à Lastminute.com.
je suis très mécontent de ce voyage car quand j'ai réservé ma place avec ma femme et sa mère, nous n'avons pas pu prendre 2 chambres différentes par internet sur leur site, j'ai donc appelé last minute qui nous a dit de faire 2 dossiers bien que nous voyagions ensemble puisque nous habitons à la même adresse.
Ils nous ont envoyé tous les documents de voyage à la même adresse mail et au même nom, de plus les 3 voyages ont été payés avec la même carte bancaire en une seule fois.
De plus la mère de ma femme est âgée (72,5 ans) et souffre de très graves problèmes de mémoire, donc est incapable de voyager seule.
Or 3 jours avant le retour à Paris, la personne (Claudia) qui s'occupe de nous à Hammamet nous annonce que ma belle mère partira seule sur un premier avion et ma femme et moi sur un autre avion 6 heures après et qu'il était impossible de changer. J’ai gardé la feuille qui était dans le hall de l’hôtel comme preuve pour mon avocat.
Malgré des heures de négociation avec elle et par téléphone de Tunisie avec last minute à Paris (ça nous a coûté très cher en forfait portable), ils n'ont rien voulu savoir.
Nous avons donc dû trouver quelqu'un du voyage pour s'occuper de la mère de ma femme morte de peur car incapable de voyager seule du fait de ses graves troubles mnésiques, ensuite il a fallu trouver quelqu'un pour venir la chercher à l'aéroport de Paris et s’occuper d’elle pendant 6 heures, le temps que nous arrivions, ça nous a complètement gâché les 3 derniers jours de vacances.
Quant à nous, ça n'a pas été mieux car on nous a mis dans un charter (alors que le contrat stipulait bien un avion d’une compagnie régulière (de Tunis air) pour le retour) qui est parti avec près d'une heure de retard, et cerise sur le gâteau, malgré l'heure du repas (voyage qui a eu lieu le 24 04 11 entre 20h et 22h30) rien à manger en vol, à moins de payer des sandwiches et des boissons à nos frais (une vingtaine d'euros pour moi et ma femme).J’ai gardé la carte des prix des collations de Novelair prise dans l’avion comme preuve en plus des témoins présents dans notre hôtel à Hammamet).Et surtout, il y avait une place vide juste devant moi, ce qui prouve bien que la mère de ma femme aurait pu voyager avec nous.
A l'arrivée à Roissy, beaucoup de voyageurs avaient laissé leur voiture dans le parking à Orly, bravo last minute!!!
Quant à nous on a eu droit à un taxi de nuit supplémentaire à 70 euros qu'on aurait évité si on était rentré tous ensemble avec ma belle mère dans la même voiture.
Si je récapitule, nous avons dépensé tout un forfait téléphone portable, 20 euros de nourriture dans l'avion et 70 euros de taxi de nuit en plus dans notre budget prévu et la moitié des vacances ratées.
J’ai immédiatement écrit au service client par mail qui m’a répondu « faites un courrier recommandé » que j’ai fait à mes frais (5 euros), j’ai l’accusé de réception et 2 mois après toujours aucune réponse par courrier et plus aucune réponse à mes mails non plus.
Pour ma part je suis partie en croatie il y a 4 ans donc les avis et tout ca on n'avait on regardait la tête du site. (il est pas très beau et n'a pratiquement pas changé) mais à notre suprise totale tout c'est très bien passé ! (on n'avait un peu peur pour le prix).
Après je sais pas si depuis ils sont resté bien ou pas.
A l'époque il n'y pas non plus de codes promo last minute mais maintenant oui donc oubliez pas d'en utiliser si vous pouvez !

J'ai réservé , pour ma mère qui est âgée et qui habite à l'étranger un vol ( KML et Air France) pour Lyon avec transit par Paris CDG?Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise de me retrouver avec un vol en correspondance à ...Orly, près de 5 heures après l'arrivée à CDG, alors qu'il y a un vol partant de CDG,1 H et demi après l'arrivée à CDG.
J'ai écrit à Lastminute (ne parlons pas du téléphone, ce sera mieux!!!) qui m'a répondu que je m'étais trompé...Je dois, donc, être totalement ABRUTI pour confondre les aéroports et les heures, d'autant qu'a posteriori j'ai vu qu'on ne faisait aucune économie en transitant par Orly
J'ai demandé à Lastminute de modifier le trajet Paris-Lyon, sur le vol aller, sachant qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un tarif promotionnel.On m'a répondu que pour cela je devais annuler le billet AR et payer une pénalité correspondant au prix de l"ensemble de ce billet AR , avant d'acheter un nouveau billet...Soit payer 2 fois le même billet !!!
J'ai alors pris contact avec Air France qui s'est étonné et qui, moyennant 50 Euros, m' a délivré, sans aucune difficulté, un nouveau billet
Par ailleurs, quelques jours avant, j'avais acheté, à Lastminute, des billets pour l'Asie du Sud est.Ayant trouvé, peu après, les mêmes billets, sur un autre site, à un prix inférieur, j'ai écrit à Lastminute pour demander le remboursement de la différence, conformément à leur publicité.......aucune réonse , malgré des rappels
MORALITE : évitez Lastminute, même si cela vous coûte légerement plus cher, et achetez vos billets directement aux compagnies aériennes
Pour ma part tout s'est bien déroulé.

Effectivement, il y a peu d'accompagnement et bien souvent les informations données sont laconiques quand vous êtes en correspondance.
Les prix sont corrects et effectivement on trouve souvent au moins un bon de reduction pour lastminute ce qui permet parfois d’alléger la note... Toujours bon à prendre en temps de crise.
Je suis déja passé par d'autres voyagistes et même par airfrance.. hé bien je peux vous dire que ça peut également être catastrophique...
Pbm de communication lors des retards. Propreté des avions sur les lignes régionales...

NE RESERVEZ RIEN SUR LASTMINUTE.COM car en cas de question ou de besoin de renseignement sur votre voyage le service client vous répond systématiquement que les conditions générales de vente sont que vous recevez vos documents de voyage entre con jour et la veille à 19h00 de votre départ, et ils sont particulièrement obtus.
Lastminute est une grosse arnaque de toute façon puisque les prix affiché ne sont pas les prix réel, ils augmentent les prix à la dernière minute justement. Pour ma part un billet à 99 euros est passé à 154 euros au dernier moment et je me suis faite bêtement avoir... Ce qui fait qu'au lieux de payer 5 euros de moins que chez easy jet j'ai payée 50 EUROS DE PLUS !!!! Pour des soit disant frais de gestion... De qui ce moque t'on sérieusement !

Now, after seeing and reading a bit everywhere, and with the first quotes for a 6/7-day safari, I’m shocked by the prices (like $2,250) for places like Maasai Mara, where entry alone costs $200 per person per day, plus fees for the driver and vehicle.
So if you have any recent great tips or contacts to share to help me out, I’d really appreciate it—because despite the costs, we’d still love to go, while keeping things reasonable.
The most plausible solution is probably renting a vehicle with a driver-guide.

Three years after exploring northern Argentina and Chile, my two travel buddies and I want to discover the southern part of these two countries.
We’re traveling on a budget, backpacker-style, favoring public transport and modest accommodations, but we don’t hesitate to splurge a little when it’s worth it.
The classic spots that have been fueling our dreams: Bariloche, the lakes, Chiloé, El Chaltén, Torres del Paine, Perito Moreno, El Calafate, Fitz Roy, Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego, and wrapping up in Valparaíso.
We’ll take a round-trip flight to Santiago, then I’m thinking of a one-way flight from Santiago to Punta Arenas. From there, we’ll explore and do several day hikes in the south, including Ushuaia and, if possible, Tierra del Fuego.
Then we’ll head back north by bus to Bariloche and the lakes, followed by Chiloé, then a bus to Santiago and Valparaíso.
Based on your experience, could you help me figure out the best way to structure this trip and maybe suggest some ideas?

We’re a young couple planning to travel to South Africa after spending about three weeks in Namibia. We’ll arrive in Cape Town around mid-December, with no fixed travel duration (though our budget will eventually set a limit).
After browsing through the forum, we’ve realized the country is packed with incredible spots, which makes choosing an itinerary tough. We’re looking for stunning landscapes, hikes, and so on. So, we’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
When we arrive in Cape Town, we’d like to settle in and take it easy until New Year’s, exploring at a relaxed pace. We know this period coincides with South African holidays—does that make finding accommodations (availability/prices) more difficult? Do you think it’s possible to stay in a nice place for about 15 days without aiming for the most upscale neighborhoods? Maybe somewhere a bit outside Cape Town, like Fish Hoek, and just visit the city occasionally.
After that, we’ll have plenty of time (about 2 to 2.5 months) to explore the country. We’d like to take our time. In your opinion, is it better to focus on the Cape Town region, or is it reasonable to consider more distant areas like the Drakensberg or Blyde River Canyon? Can everything be done by car if we take our time, or are domestic flights sometimes more practical?
Budget-wise, how much do car rentals cost? For accommodations, we usually look at Airbnb—are they affordable in South Africa? What’s the average nightly rate outside the biggest cities? Are there other platforms you’d recommend for saving on lodging?
Finally, regarding safety, are there any regions to avoid besides Johannesburg?
We know this is a lot of questions, but we’re still in the early planning stages!

After exploring southern Peru in 2024 with your help, we’d love to head north next. There’ll be 5 or 6 of us:
1. Arrive in Lima in the evening.
2. Visit Lima and take a flight at 6:35 PM to Tarapoto.
3, 4, 5. Spend a few days there to trek in a reserve (Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve) or somewhere else.
6. From Tarapoto to Chachapoyas—either by overnight bus, daytime bus, or private car.
7. In Chachapoyas: Gocta Waterfall, Sonche Canyon, and walk back to town.
8. Head to Kuelap citadel, Revash, and arrive in Leymebamba.
9. Leymebamba museum, then route to Cajamarca.
10. Cajamarca hot springs, overnight bus to Trujillo or Chiclayo—or do both.
11, 12, 13. Visit and explore the area.
14. Overnight bus back to Lima.
15. Lima.
16. Depart at 8 PM for France.

I’d like to drive to Morocco from Paris via Spain. I was really surprised to see the ferry crossing prices—around 500 €—but especially the crossing time (about 1 hour). Normally, I pay 3000 € to go to Tunisia from Genoa, but that’s for a 24-hour crossing.
My question: is it cheaper to buy the ticket on the spot, as some Moroccans have advised me? Though I’ve also heard the opposite.

I’m planning a 10-day trip to Slovenia in May (9–19 May) and starting to look at accommodations. Unfortunately, I’m only seeing relatively expensive options—nothing under 50 €, and usually around 100–150 €. Traveling solo, that could quickly blow my budget. And 30 € for a bed in a 10-person dorm at a youth hostel feels like a rip-off...
Are there other booking sources besides the usual Booking.com, Airbnb, and Google? Or can anyone confirm if I’ll find more reasonable rates on the ground around Bled, Bohinj, Triglav, or in mountain huts? I’ll be renting a car to optimize my travel, so I won’t be limited geographically.

I’m diving into planning a trip I’ve dreamed of for a long time: crossing Africa from North to South solo, with a departure planned for October 2025 for about 8-9 months. I’m leaving from Paris with a starting budget of around 7,000 €, aiming to supplement it with work along the way.
My planned route: Senegal → Gambia → Sierra Leone/Liberia (if logistics work out) → Côte d'Ivoire → Ghana → Togo → Benin → Cameroon → Gabon → Kenya (Masai Mara) → Uganda (Bwindi gorillas) → Rwanda → Tanzania (Kili + Serengeti + Zanzibar) → Mozambique → Malawi → Zambia (Victoria Falls) → Botswana → Namibia → South Africa (Cape Town). Madagascar as a bonus if timing/budget allows from Mozambique.
I’m not a backpacking newbie—I’ve done several trips in Europe and I’m familiar with the lifestyle, hostels, local transport, etc. But Africa is my first big adventure on this continent, and I’ve got some very concrete questions I’d love feedback on from people who’ve been there.
🎭 My big dilemma: flexibility vs. pre-organized work
What matters most to me is NOT rushing through. If I feel good somewhere, I’ll stay longer. If a region doesn’t click, I’ll cut it short. That seems totally incompatible with having pre-booked work or volunteer gigs, yet I need that income to stretch my budget.
I’m torn between two approaches:
Option A: The mixed rhythm: 3-4 weeks of volunteering in a country (free accommodation, full immersion), then 1-2 countries in classic backpacker "vacation" mode, then another mission somewhere, etc. This gives a breathing rhythm and avoids burnout from non-stop volunteering.
Option B: The continuous flow: finding gigs as I go, from the previous country, contacting hosts 2-3 weeks in advance with a flexible date range. Keeping maximum spontaneity but never arriving anywhere without a safety net.
Have you tried either? What actually works on the ground in Africa?
🌍 What I’m really looking for in this trip
Not just the classic tourist spots. I want to see the country as it is—eating at local joints, taking local transport (bush taxis, minibuses, sept-places), staying with locals when possible. The big reserves and safaris are part of the plan (Masai Mara, Serengeti, Okavango), but just as much as hanging out in a residential neighborhood in Dakar, understanding how people really live.
Volunteering or work interests me for that reason too (not just for free lodging, but because it’s the deepest way to dive into a country). Working at a school in Ghana, a lodge in Kenya, a permaculture farm in Mozambique—I see it as an immersion that classic tourism can’t offer.

About Workaway and Worldpackers: I’ve read a lot but would love on-the-ground feedback, especially for West and East Africa. Are hosts really flexible with dates for long-term travelers? Do the advertised gigs match reality? Are there alternative platforms you’d recommend for Africa specifically (I’ve heard of Help Exchange, WWOOF Africa, local networks…)?
About "off-platform" jobs: Is it really doable to find informal work on the spot (bars, restaurants, lodges) without prior contacts? In which countries/cities is this most accessible for a French speaker without a local work permit?
About logistics between countries: For those who’ve done the West Coast (Senegal → Ghana → Benin), how did you cross borders? Direct buses or local shared taxis at each border? And for the jump from Central Africa → Kenya, is a flight mandatory, or are there feasible overland routes?
