SO Sophiali ·
Thanks for your reply! But actually, I won’t be there in January—I’ll be going in two weeks, from October 27th to November 3rd.
SO Sophiali ·
We're leaving in 2 weeks, on October 26th. Unfortunately, we only have 8 days ahead of us. We land in Casablanca and take off again from Agadir. I initially thought about getting around by bus, but after reading so much, I see that everyone rents a car—so maybe we will too... The cold at night in the desert isn’t much of an issue as long as it’s expected and we’re dressed for it. But Agadir, in my eyes, is a beach resort, so the sea and the beach are the main attractions...

In 8 days, the planned itinerary seems too ambitious. We should scale back our expectations.

Today, October 26th, lots of rain in the south. Big storms last night in Tafraoute. And the previous days were really hot.

Hi there! Thanks for the real-time weather update 😮—if there were big storms, make sure to check the road conditions! Take care, and hoping the sun comes back soon!

I think what’s happening in Morocco tonight is gonna drift our way tomorrow!! It’s in the forecast! Batten down the dromedaries so they don’t get swept away by the rain! 😲😊😉 Stay alert!

I’d ask CTM to attach the DROMs to their bus engines. 😉

Time to head south...

Great panorama, but the sky isn't very clear in the background!

No. The sky was gray and got a bit overcast later... And tonight, a storm.

Hi Dorothy, With this rainy, windy, snowy weather—a real All Saints' Day vibe 😉—I’m bumping up your travel journal, which I really enjoyed, so those who might have missed it can warm up a bit with it.

Totally agree too!! A little sunshine does you good! And I even discovered a recent one I’d missed! (Capi) It’s like rereading an old book you really loved!! And it helps pass the time until the next trip

We finally decided to leave Tafraoute as quickly as possible. It was pouring rain, and we were worried about getting stuck because of the wadis. We headed toward Agadir. It rained continuously on the road, but it was manageable. The numerous waterfalls we saw along the way made us think we’d made the right call to leave and cross the mountains before all that water came rushing down. There were a few showers in Agadir too, but nothing like what we’d seen earlier.

Lovely travel journal, Roseline. Thanks for sharing.

Oops… while browsing through the journals, I came across your comment that I hadn’t seen before… so thank *you* for stopping by! For me, sharing is also part of the journey.

But I think winter is over in Morocco. I checked the weather sites and it's dreamy. Can't wait for the next trip.

I've got friends in Agadir. They're enjoying 30°C right now. I think I'll pop over there very soon.
JA Jackieda Veteran ·
How lucky!! A little travel journal to share when you get back?😇

Why not... but only if there’s something new. I’d rather avoid repeats—it wouldn’t be all that interesting.

In the Anti-Atlas in late February and the first half of March, the weather was superb—even in Essaouira. To be honest, just a little wind.

I have friends in Agadir. It's 30°C there right now. I think I'll head over very soon.

We should take advantage of it without waiting. We just got back from our trip to Israel and Palestine. The weather wasn't great.

Hi there! I’ve been in Morocco since early February. Yep, winter’s been over for quite a while now. Depending on the region, temperatures range between 20 and 35°C... A little wink from a girl from La Rochelle 😉😉😉

Thanks for this new travel journal—it’s letting me discover a country I don’t know at all. And some of the photos really remind me of Morocco, especially the ones of the canyon at the monastery.

Right now it's raining in Marrakech. We're in the Rose Valley and it's not as hot as the last few days. The sky is a bit overcast, but it's really, really pleasant.

I have such great memories of it... What a scent! And we brought back some rose water...

There’s no shortage of rose water... or rose necklaces. Young people sell them along the roads for just a few dirhams. What a beautiful country!
JE Jeeaan Globetrotter ·
Hoping for a new travel journal soon?
