J'aurais voulu savoir comment était l'ambiance à Pouembout-Koné? est-ce que ça bouge un peu, vaut-il mieux prendre un appart à Koné? Je crois qu'il n'y a pas la mer à Pouembout..
Je cherche éventuellement des contacts de vcats en NC qui pourraient me renseigner sur les conditions particulières du volontaire en NC..
il faut savoir que Pouembout est en .......Brousse, nord ouest de Nouméa, à peu prés 2h30/ 3h en voiture
côté ouest de NC, il faut savoir que ce sont des grandes propriétés à bétail donc la mer n'est pas si prés de la ville de Koné, pour l'ambiance je ne saurais pas te dire car j'ai seulement vécu à Nouméa.
Au dire de mes amis, il faut s'adapter par contre il paraît qu'une fois que l'on vit en brousse, on ne supporte Nouméa que le WE.
mais si tu aimes la fête, le cinéma, les activités, il faudra te faire aux activités de brousse, pêche, chasse.....
tu seras moins isolé si tu prends un appart à Koné

je pense que tu n'auras aucun problème pour trouver de la coloc, cela se fait beaucoup là-bas, et puis au moins tu rencontreras du monde
profite bien de tous les trésors de la Nouvelle Calédonie, il y a des campings et des gîtes partout.....

j'écris en réponse a ton message pour te dire que la région de pouembout-koné est assez sympa, je te le dis en connaissance de cause parce que je suis de koné.
Pouembout c'est un petit village, a koné il y a comme même plus d'activité, il y a plus de monde, mais le secret c'est de bien t'intégrer, faire connaissance avec tout le monde pour éviter de t'ennuyer parce que dans le patelin si tu ne connais personne bonjour l'ennui.
Mais c'est vrai que si tu veux savoir les logements ne sont pas trop chères(comparés a la france) a toi de bien te renseigner, si éventuellement plus de renseignement écris moi y a pas de problème!

Pouembout, c'est sûr que c'est la "campagne", mais ce n'est quand même pour autant qu'il ya la guerilla en brousse!! C'est calme (comme partout d'ailleurs).

Jux, je suis sûr que tu vas aimé la Nelle Calédonie, c'est trop beau là-bas et comme le dit une personne ( plus haut ), il faut s'adapter, si tu es cool, ce sera facile là-bas.

Tu étais en VCAT aussi à Kourou? ça m'intéresse pcq je dois venir m'installer en guyane à la fin de l'année. Tu es resté longtemps à Kourou, c'était comment la vie là bas, ça t'a plu?

Ben écoute la guyane moi je trouve ça terrible, super sauvage, ya des coins vraiment beaux, la forêt hallucinante, un tas d'ethnies, et à vrai dire je suis un peu triste de partir d'ici!
Au niveau des villes c'est pas la super ambiance niveau activités etc mais ya moyen quand meme, moi je suis donc à Kourou et je trouve la vie plutot sympathique labas : t'as la plage, pas 'embouteillages, le village des saramacas pour faire la fete, la mediatheque avec un gros pole culturel qui commence a bien se bouger..
Cayenne c'est différent faut la caisse pour aller à la plage, ya plus de monde et pas mal de voitures, mais c'est assez joli et ya plus d'expositions ou de petits concerts..
Ya aussi st-Laurent (la 3 eme ville) qui est bien sympa aussi mais plus éloignée.
nan vraiment moi la guyane ça m'a vraiment plu, t'as plein de choses à découvrir, canoé, nuits en forêt, caimans, marais, tortues luths, etc etc!
Oui ce sont des villes qui sont un peu des villages, donc au niveau animation ça doit se ressentir! on m'a aussi dit que Cayenne était plus joli que Kourou, moderne et essentiellement peuplée de métro. Par contre, c'est une ville plus sûre, non que Cayenne?
C'est quoi le village des saramacas? Bon, c'est vrai je suis parisienne, donc j'ai l'habitude que ça bouge un peu... mais si je quitte paris c'est aussi pour un peu de tranquilité, oublier les embouteillages, être en contact avec la nature...
par contre au niveau de la difficulté de trouver un logement on m'a dit qu'elle était assez minime, par contre c'est pas donné à Cayenne ( enfin pas pire qu'à Paris!), par contre on peut trouver des trucs plus abordables, dans les villes alentours? a Kourou c'est pareil je suppose? Mais toi tu étais VCAT aussi à Kourou? c'était pas trop dur financièrement?
Salut jux, je pense etre bien placé pour te répondre, étant donné que ma petite amie est calédonienne et que j'y ai vécu pendant près de 5 ans. Il est vrai que je vivais à la capitale, Nouméa, mais je suis monté à plusieur reprises dans ce petit village que tu nommes Koné. Au risque de me mettre à dos de nombreux kanak, j'ai trouvé cet endroi magnifique mais pas facile à vivre pour un zoreil (nous les métropolitains). Les habitants sont très acceuillants la semaine mais le week end c'est autre chose!!! Hors mis tout ca, j'ai passé les meilleurs années de ma vie dans ce paradis. Pour les sorties il faudra que tu descendes à la capitale le week end. Je te souhaite un bon séjours sur le cailloux, peut étre que lèon se croisera labas.Tchao, un breton qui a du sang kanak dans les veines.

Je ne suis plus làbas depuis 2 ans et demi maintenant, mais j'ai tjs des contacts làbas, n'hésite pas à me poser des questions précises!
Les VCAT j'en connais quelqu'uns depuis plusieurs années car à mon travail on en prend souvent. D'ailleurs en ce moment on en a 2 et bientôt un troisième dans le courant de l'année.
Mon travail est partagé sur plusieurs lieux géographiques, dont un à Pouembout !
Peut-être que ce sont eux qui te prendront ? En tout cas eux ils ont des VCAT chaque année.
Sinon moi même je suis allée souvent à Pouembout, j'ai une amie qui y vit. Pouembout est un village du nord plutôt sympa. Les vallées sont superbes. Koné se situe 7 km plus loin que Pouembout.
Ca change dans cette région, car il vont y construire l'usine du nord.
Dans le nord calédonien, la brousse, il faut s'acclimater en se faisant des amis avec les gens du coin. Les loisirs sont la pêche, la chasse, les balades dans la chaîne.
C'est un autre mode de vie que celle de la ville (3 heures de voiture de Nouméa) mais une sacré expérience.
je compte partir pour 5 mois en nc à Koné.
J'aurai souhaité avoir des infos sur le logement et l'emploi.
Peut on trouver facilement à se loger sur Koné? Est il possible de trouver un logment pas trop cher (type coloc ou hébergment chez l'habitant, etc.)
Et pour l'emploi, est ce que c possible de trouver des ptts boulots sans qualification particulière?
Et la vie là bas, comment l'as tu trouvé? As tu visité les alentours?
