voici qq années, la route des gorges du Dadès était prévue pour rejoindre celles du Todra. qu'en est-il aujourd'hui ? quelle est la carte routière la plus à jour ? la plus récente que j'ai touvée est celle de RAIMAGE (2004) au1/850 000, mais elle est pleine d'erreurs.

bonjour a tous, nous aimerions partir 10 jours au maroc et notamment aller dans les environs de ouarzazate et de la vallee du draa. est-ce qu'il est possible de trouver un circuit sympa de 2/3 jours dans cette region et pour l'organiser vaut-il mieux le faire de france ou sur place? nous voudrions terminer par quelques jours a la plage : on avait penser a agadir mais il semble qu'essaouira soit plus joli et moins tourisitique. quel endroit nous conseillez-vous pour un peu de repos a la mer? derniere question et j'arrete de vous embeter : concernant les transports, d'apres les autres sujets du forum il n'y a pas de probleme pour faire marrakech ouarzazate en car mais y a-t-il des cars qui ramenent de ouarzazate vers la cote (agadir, essaouira)?

mon copain et moi avons le projet de partir au Maroc en 4x4 pendant 15 jours en octobre : on nous a dit qu'il risquait de faire nuit tôt pendant cette période ... est ce vrai ? car nous voudrions profiter au maximum du jour et éviter de rouler de nuit ... D'autre part comment peut on connaitre les périodes du Ramadan ? Enfin, vaut il mieux changer des euros en dirhams ou peut on presqaue tout payer en euros, du nord au sud du Maroc ?

Bonjour. nous partons le 15 avril pour 1 mois au Maroc. Nous nous demandons ce qui est le mieux pour l'argent. Quel budget prévoir pour 4 personnes (2 adultes/2enfants). nous serons en "routard", avec notre véhicule et nos tentes... nous descendons par Meknes, Fes direction le sud pour pouvoir y passer le plus de temps possible. Faut-il partir avec beaucoup de liquide sur nous ou un minimum d'argent et faire des retrais sur place...nous avons eu des envies divergents sur la question... Trovuet-on des cartes pour faire de la randonnée... Merci pour vos conseils. D'autre part nous partons en turquie quelques temps après, et on nous a parlé d'une taxe de douane de 320 euros. J'ai comme projet de créer un petit hôtel à Midelt (atlas) au maroc.... (une dizaine de chambres) et aussi de développer une activité montagne.... Je pars la bas au mois de mai puis au mois de novembre. Sur place je connais une famille qui pourra peut etre m'aider à concrétiser ce projet... Si vous avez des infos pratiques sur ce genre de projet ça m'intéresse vivement merci d'avance.....

j'pars dans un mois (on est 4 adultes) pour 15 jours dans ce beau pays qu'est le maroc (1ère fois dans ce pays). je voyage le plus "routard" possible car tout petit budget !!!🤪

Je n'ai pour l'instant pris que le billet d'avion et la loc de voiture et mon parcours sera le suivant :

j1 : arrivée + nuit à marrakech j2 : journée à marrakech + 2ème nuit sur place j3 : départ pour le désert dans le sud (environ de Zagora) j4-5-6 : désert j7 : retour du désert et prise de la voiture de lovation à OUarzazate j8 -> j15 : cicuit à définir mais en gros on essaie de faire le tour

Bon attention voilà les premières questions maintenant : 1) réserver l'hotel à marrakech pour les 2 premières nuits ? un nom d'hotel correct pas cher testé au centre ? 2) le trajet Marrakech -> Zagora : un ami (avec qui j'ai fait la bolivie donc un habitué) a eu des soucis des la gare routiere, agressivité des locaux qui voulaient notamment leurs sacs (et pourtant il était accompagné d'un francais qui vivait là bas!) et m'a dit que ce trajet était vraiment le mauvais souvenir de son voyage pourtant magnifique. Alors un conseil, ??? faut il privilégier le taxi comme on est 4 ??? 3) pour le désert, j'compte faire genre 2jours(ou3) à pied + 1jour de 4*4 mais j'ai rien de rien pour l'instant alors un nom ? une expérience ? tout détail est le bienvenu !!!!!!😛

je vais aller avec ma femme et mon fils ( 14 ans ) une semaine au Maroc fin février. On veut voir de belles villes, de beaux paysages, mais aussi sentir le pays et les gens. On voudrait bien éviter les types qui vous harcèlent sans cesse pour vous vendre des babioles. Quelle région nous conseillez-vous pour ce premier voyage ( Il semble que Marakesh soit vraiment trop touristique et déconseillé à cause de cela - Fes et Meknes seraient plus sympas - on parle aussi de la région d'Essaouira - On parle bien sur de l'atlas mais en hiver est-ce possible )

Nous voudrions louer une voiture. Pouvons nous conduire sans problème ( orientation et sécurité ) Pourrons nous trouver des logements sur place ( appart à louer au hotel pas trop cher mais correct, on n'est pas vraiment des routards ) sans avoir réservé au préalable ?

Quel budget prévoir ? ( a propos, un dirham, ca vaut combien ? )

Bonjour, On envisage de partir à 2 au Maroc ou au Senegal, nous sommes allés dans des agences de voyage qui ne recommande pas de partir seul dans ces pays, il propose plus des voyages à la carte à un prix exhorbitant!!! Nous on voulait juste prendre un vol sec et se débrouiller sur place sachant que c'est notre premier voyage... Qu'en pensez vous?🤪 Est il possible de profiter sans stress du voyage meme si on est pas encadré par une agence? est il possible de prendre un guide ou/et de louer une voiture sur place? Et derniere question (avant plein de prochaine) que choisir comme destination : Maroc ou Senegal? Merci à ceux qui repondront

Nous partons pour l'Espagne au début de l'été. Notre itinéraire n'est pas encore fixé. On arrive à Madrid et nous voulons aller vers le sud (Cordoue, Seville, Granada, Ronda, Malaga) puis remonter la côte jusqu'à Barcelone. Nous repartons de Madrid, 21 jours plus tard. Nous sommes à la recherche d'endroit sympa. où rester. Entre autre 1 semaine près de la mer. Alors si vous connaissez des hébergements dans ces régions nous serons heureux de les connaître.

Can anyone explain why? - Is Booking.com reliable, and has anyone rented a vehicle through their service? There’s a pretty big price difference compared to local Moroccan agencies. - Is there a detailed road map included in the rental car? - Is Google Maps enough to get around the High Atlas? This will be my first trip there.

Here’s a first draft for a 14-night itinerary during the Christmas break with two teens. We’re especially fond of hiking (nothing too extreme, though), which is why we’re drawn to the south.

- Marrakech (2 nights) - Aït Ben Haddou (1 night) - Dadès (3 nights, though we’re thinking of doing a day trip to the Todra Gorge on one of those days) - M'hamid (1 night) - Erg Chigaga (1 night) - 4 nights to slot in - Marrakech (2 nights)

Okay, I realize this involves a lot of driving, and we’re still debating the return route since we’d like to avoid the Tichka Pass in January, but going through Taroudant seems like it would add *a lot* of time. 😕

If you’ve got other suggestions for an itinerary with great hikes, I’m all ears!

Also, the 4 nights total in MRK isn’t really our preference, but since we’re arriving/departing super early from overseas, we’d like to be a bit rested before the long flight.

Another question: For hikes (aside from the desert one), is it better to have a guide with us, or are the trails well-marked?

For those who can't open the link: Marrakech (the afternoon of our arrival + 1 day, we’ve already been there without the kids, the goal is not to stay too long) – night Aït Ben Haddou Ouarzazate Skoura – night Oasis de Fint Dadès Gorges Tinghir – night Merzouga – night Zagora – night M’hamid – ideally a night in the desert Agdz Marrakech – night (itinerary via Telouet)

What do you think of this plan? Will it feel too rushed, or is it manageable? Since we don’t know the places, it’s hard to tell if we’ll want to stop everywhere along the way or if there’s enough time to spend at each spot. I’ve included some night-stop assumptions (1 or 2 nights).

We’d love to hear your thoughts! We’re traveling with my wife, a 13-year-old teen, and a 10-year-old. We’ll have our own rental car.

I’m just at the very beginning of my research, so I’m coming straight to you for some info. I’d like to visit Morocco to discover a bit of the country. I’ve just found out about the Toubkal circuit, which I’d love to do in January/February. I’m open to going independently with a tent, food, etc., and also open to whatever other possibilities this circuit offers that I don’t know about yet... Could you share any random tips or info? I’d also love to hear your opinions? What I like about this circuit is that it’s fairly accessible and seems interesting for many reasons. Hotel La suerte loca in Sidi Ifni. Move along quickly! LIAR AND DISHONEST. Not to mention the state of the rooms. That’ll come later.

I booked three nights on-site without a bathroom in room (No. 16). I had called the day before to check availability. The next day, they told me I couldn’t stay in that room on the third night but offered to move me to another room—even more run-down than this one—and without a bathroom. They claimed there had been a mistake and the room was already booked, which is completely false. I’ve been traveling for 20 years and can spot hoteliers’ tricks. The woman running the place checked all her online sites and her schedule before confirming the room was available. She was sure. Especially since they display the booking schedule in front of each room to avoid mistakes. So, a pure lie. For what reason?

For me, two options: either take the run-down room for cheaper without a bathroom or leave. Great customer service. I found another hotel, Safa, a bit further away, at the same price with breakfast—100 times more luxurious and comfortable than this place. Or just down on the beach, Hotel Aït Baamrane, same price or even negotiable, and still much more comfortable.

When I left in the morning, they barely said goodbye, not a word of apology, no gesture to make up for kicking me out. NOTHING, NADA!

The woman running the place, with her fake friendliness and hypocrisy, only cares about one thing: money.

Otherwise, the place could be great if it were properly maintained. Instead of repainting the balconies, they should replace the mattresses, which are completely wrecked. The only good thing about this hotel is its location above the sea.

Otherwise, Room No. 16 was recently repainted. Every time someone uses the water, there’s a huge noise from the pipes and vibrations. The walls are paper-thin (figuratively speaking)—when neighbors talked or coughed, it was like they were in the room with me.

I had to wait to check in because of cleaning, but once inside, the bedside tables and the table were filthy (see photo). In the bathroom, there’s a stale smell of old urine and sewage due to the worn-out toilet pipes (see photo), with minimal lighting. The showerhead is disgustingly dirty. The gray duvet is dirty and very old, as are the blankets, which are dusty and grimy. The Wi-Fi worked in the room the first day but not the next.

And finally, the worst part: the mattress is completely wrecked and sagging. The springs dig into your body. Horrible! Instead of repainting, they’d do better to change the mattresses.

As for meals, the prices are outrageous. This hotel relies on its old popularity, but it’s not worth 190 dirhams for this room. I’d say it’s barely worth over 100 dirhams. Since I’ve been in Morocco, I’ve stayed in palaces for 130 dirhams with breakfast.

So, my advice: don’t trust the reviews and avoid this place. You’ll find much better at the same price, as mentioned above.
