Hello or Guten Tag, Departure planned between 15 and 20/09. Why Austria? For me, it’s a way to escape the 30°C that might still be lingering in southern France—but that’s not the only reason... For budget info, on average, the cost of living in Austria in 2024 is 3% lower than in France. Looking for a female companion living in the Castres/81 area or in 85/Vendée, where I actually plan to move. Her personality? I’d prefer to discuss that in private messages. If she doesn’t have an e-bike (I have an excellent one), we can swap our “rides” from time to time. Oh... She should be around 1.70 m tall (that’s my height), and there’s no adjustment needed (saddle height + handlebars). Don’t take it to mean that anyone under 1.70 m is automatically out—I can fix a flat tire, I’m resourceful, and I’ve got a good sense of initiative. I should mention that we’ll be riding in temperatures between 18 and 21°C. So, if you’re a travel lover who doesn’t mind slightly cooler weather, you’re welcome! I have a “good level of English language pass,” which is essential for communicating with locals, though some will understand French. Personally, I understand about twenty words of German. Some stretches without much interest can be covered by train. I’m thinking Salzburg–Passau. To be discussed... No need to panic, Monique! The elevation gain might seem intimidating, but spread over 802 km, it’s not too bad. Outbound trip: by car, left in a safe place in Constance or at the hotel where we’d have spent 3 nights. To negotiate with the manager... Return by train from Wien (that’s Vienna in German, please!) for between 38 € and 80 €. We’ll see when we’re there... I’m planning 2 to 3 nights in Constance, given the beauty of the lake (water between 22 and 24°C—maybe a swim?) and the interest this city holds. Fancy getting close to Austria’s highest peak (3800 m) after climbing a pass (a pass with a unique feature in Europe) at 2504 m? Want to have fun like a teenager on Europe’s longest summer toboggan run (on rails) for 3535 m? Want to follow the Danube River for about 317 km on the EuroVelo route 6, a path dedicated just to cyclists? Want to explore Tyrol for 3 or 4 days? Want to discover Vienna and its surroundings? FYI: late September, around 20°C. I’ll be equipped with an excellent vocal GPS. So no fumbling to find an address. Why this country? We’re in the Eurozone. Budget? Hard to pin down. It’ll depend on the accommodations we choose. I’m estimating around 60 to 70 € per day per person while there. Lunch as a picnic. In such a setting, it’s a must! Dinner at a restaurant-inn. Oh... One important point. I’m a heavy sleeper. Nearly 10 hours of rest. After that, I’m in a great mood. I also enjoy a nap of at least an hour after lunch if the spot allows (shady and quiet).

Hello, I’m planning a trip to South India for 5 or 6 weeks. If there are three or four of us, we could rent a car, which would make things faster, and the planned route might only take a month instead of a month and a half. Since it’s impossible to do everything, I’m prioritizing ** and *** backpacker spots, as well as UNESCO sites.

I’m not really into beach destinations. I’m thinking of skipping Madras (Chennai) from the itinerary since there isn’t much that’s amazing to see there.

As for GOA, I’m much more interested in Old Goa (monuments and atmosphere) than the beaches of Goa.

The dates aren’t set in stone yet. I don’t have my flight ticket yet either. I’d like to leave around January 15th and return in mid or late February 2025.

Malgré mes nombreuses recherche je n’arrive pas à trouver De van aménage convenable ou alors ce sont des prix exorbitant. Je m’adresse à la communauté pour avoir vos bon plans mais aussi vos avis sur le sujet, vos expériences ... Nous ne serons que 2 à voyager donc un petit van avec le strict nécessaire nous suffirais. Pensez vous que pour un mois il est préférable de racheter et revendre à nouveau sachant le délais assez long des ventes de véhicule ou plutôt de passer par des particuliers sur place (avec assurance perso) ou un professionnel qui comprend un pack ? Pour indication nous pensions longer du bord au sud l’a côté du perou puis remonter en passant par le centre (peut être Amazonie) Merci à tous pour vos réponses

Pour ne pas perdre de temps sur place je recherche un guide photographe parlant français pour la journée et la soirée. Avez vous des connaissances ! des conseils ! Je voudrais savoir si vous pensez faisable de trouver un hébergement gratuit en Irlande aux alentours de Galway ou du moins en Irlande de l'ouest pour une durée indéterminée contre des corvées quotidiennes. Je suis actuellement sans emploi mais j'ai souvent travaillé avec des troupes de théâtre et des enfants donc ça je sais faire (j'ai trois enfants dont deux que j'ai élevés presque seul). Je sais aussi très bien m'occuper des tâches ménagères (lessive, vaisselle, sols, repassage) bref, tout ce qui s'approche de près ou de loin à la tenue en bonne et due forme d'une maison. J'adore les animaux (et c'est réciproque). Attention ce n'est pas une "incrustation en terre Irlandaise" que je cherche, que ça dure une semaine ou trois mois ne me pose aucun problème, j'ai juste envie de revenir dans ce si beau pays qui m'a marqué quand j'étais ado. Je parle un bon anglais (presque bilingue) et saurais m'adapter à l'accent.

Si quelqu'un a des informations ou des expériences à ce propos merci de me les faire parvenir. Je n'ai pas de date de prévue, je tâte juste le terrain avant de prendre ma décision.

Je pars pour l'eurovelo 6 le 18 juin depuis Bâle jusqu'en Roumanie en comptant un rythme sympathique de 60 a 80km par jours en moyenne , avec bien-sûr des arrêts pour profiter des endroit les plus sympa a visiter , je vise environ 3 mois pour arriver a Constanta avant de reprendre le chemin du retour , objectif de ce périple : plaisir , aventure et Liberté en camping , camping sauvage et de temps en temps un bon lit 😋 si quelqu'un veux m'accompagner , n'hésitez pas a me contacter 🙂
