North
North
Bergen is a big city, so I can only give you very general directions:
You will have to take the #62 bus to
Newark Penn Station. From there, you can take the PATH to Exchange Place. From there, you can take the Hudson-
Bergen Light Rail going towards Tonelle Avenue (NOT Hoboken).
Tonnelle Avenue is in North
Bergen, so you could either walk, take a bus, or take a taxi to get to your final destination.
The fare on the #62 bus is $1.50. I'm not sure if you can purchase a transfer to use on the Hudson-
Bergen Light Rail, but if you can, it will be $0.70 (ask the driver if you can purchase a transfer).
If the driver doesn't let you purchase a transfer, you can buy a ticket on the platform of the Exchange Place station. If you need to take a bus in North
Bergen, choose the option that gives you a transfer to the bus.
On the Hudson-
Bergen Light Rail, you must keep your transfer (or ticket) with you as proof of payment, in case an inspector asks for it. Failure to show it means you will get a fine of $100.
Once you are in North
Bergen, the station is at 51st Street/Tonnelle Avenue, and the #83 and #127 bus routes run down Tonnelle Avenue if you need to go further north into North
Bergen.
Again, if you could give us the address you are going to, that would help us give you more precise directions.
I hope this information was very helpful. Source(s):
