Bonjour,
I am currently living in
Spain for a while.
COVOITURAGE:
I have never used that (just contacted some people, but finally didn't use it... and I only had 1 answer), I can give you some website addresses.
You have to know that in
Spain, it's not so comon, so this kind of websites are not as active as in other European countries... and neither as practical as others!
You can read this post (from CS wiki):
hitchwiki.org/en/Spain
Indeed, that's more about hitch-hiking (autostop).
and eventually links to each city (on which you will find tips to hitch-hike from/to each city).
Other websites (I put here address down, as I don't know how to put them as links) to share a car are (covoiturage):
http123envoiture.com (Français)
www.viajamosjuntos.com/
www.comparteviaje.es/
www.compartir.es/es/index_es.htm
debegesa.compartir.org/
They actually are only in spanish, so it's best if you understand it!
Just to let you know in case, compartir = to share ; coche = car ; viaje = trip. Then, see with a dictionary!
As public transportations are concerned, bus are often cheaper than trains.
And sometimes (unfortunately for atmosphere, but maybe better for schedules) flights are even cheaper.
Bus: you can find companies name looking for a bus station on the web, and they generally appears. from
Barcelona:
www.barcelonanord.com/esp/servicios/bcnCOMP.asp
from
Sevilla:
www.sol.com/en/modulo.asp?IdPoblacion=2&IdC...
If it's not so clear, try to check it in Spanish.
One of the bigest company is Alsa or Alsina Graells:
www.alsa.es/portal/site/Alsa?portal.alsa.reques...
The national trains company is Renfe:
www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html
(sometimes trains don't appear the in some languages. So don't hesitate trying in Spanish AND in Catalan, name of cities are the same!)
There are offers (for long trips) if you buy it at least 7 days ago (-40% "estrella rate"), and more if you buy it at least 15 days before through the web (-60% > "web rate").
About flights companies, see Easyjet, Spanair, Clickair and Vueling. They often have good rates.
Obviously, Ryanair as well, but it's often more valuable to get from the others companies if you want to go to the big cities (adding bus costs, it's the same).
To compare flights rates:
www.viajar.com/
www.atrapalo.com/
Ah! A
Mexique; French Cancan ambience Ranch américain; Danse classique; magie...).
Well, I hope it would help (if not you, somebody else?!)
Have a good stay!
