At 1.00 p.m. Tropical Depression “KETSANA” was centered over
Ubon Ratchathani with sustained winds of 50 km/hr. The depression moves west slowly and it is forecast to becomes weak. This will make widespread rain with gusty wind. Torrential rain will be likely especially in much of the Northeast and East. The lower North and the Central including
Bangkok today will experience less rain than the Northeast from late afternoon to evening today. People in the risky areas along foothills near waterways and in lowlands should beware of flooding during this period. This condition alerts for provinces of Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Phicit, Loei, Chaiyaphum, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et,
Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen,
Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket,
Surin, Buri Ram, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachin Buri,
Chanthaburi, Trat,
Ranong and Phangnga. The strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of
Thailand causes wind-wave likely 2-3 meters. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of
