Voilà, je compte partir à l'étranger pour finir mes études et il faut donc que j’apprenne l'anglais. Je ne suis pas vraiment mauvais mais je doute pouvoir tenir une vraie conversation.
J'ais entendu parler de Malte par un ami, et j'aimerais avoir vos opinions/ témoignages.
Je pense partir seul (pour ne pas être tenté de parler français), et pouvoir visiter, sortir etc.
Est-il possible de trouver une école internationale (pas uniquement pour les français) qui me laisse du temps libre et donne de bons cours ?
Le but n'est pas seulement d'apprendre l'anglais, mais aussi de rencontrer des jeunes de mon âge (17-20 ans). Car voyager sans faire la fête ni visiter, ça n'est pas voyager ! Est il possible de se faire des amis sur place (d'autre étranger venant apprendre l'anglais), ou bien l’état d'esprit est trop "fermé".
Bref, je ne compte pas passer mes 2 semaines a Malte tout seul !!! 😛
Sinon coté argent, je suis étudiant et mon budget est plutôt serré !

JE te conseille Malte car pour un court séjour c'est parfait. La taille de l'île est moyenne, donc en 2 semaines tu auras de quoi faire. De plus, ya de l'ambiance le soir dans les rues et les bars. Cependant, fais super attention de bien choisir la période à laquelle tu y vas car c'est blindé de petits francophones généralement durant les congés scolaires, surtout en été. Donc, le reste de l'année c'est plutôt tranquille avec moins d'étudiants et bien sûr plein de gens du monde entier...De plus, hors des congés scolaires, l'âge de la population augmente davantage vers les 20-30 ans. J'ai été responsable de groupe d'activité pour étudiant là-bas donc je sais de quoi je parle. . SI tu veux vraiemnt étudier dans un système anglais après tes études en France, renseigne-toi bien car généralement, il te demande un bon niveau en anglais qu'il véréifie à l'aide d'un examen TOEFL ou TOEIC. C'est à mettre sur ta TO DO list par la même occasion... Bonne continuation dans tes projets. C.

Je vais me renseigner sur les écoles de langue (notamment sur Boa Lingua, merci Stef !). Et il resteras a voir si le prix est abordable..
Dernière question, niveau logement tout c'est bien passé ?
En effet Malte est le compromis pour étudier, faire la fête, visiter, faire bronzette et tout ça dans un contexte international. Dans mon cursus scolaire, il y avait un séminaire de 3 semaines à faire à l'étranger et j'ai direct foncé sur Malte ! Ambiance super festive la nuit et plages (très rare car l'ile est un rocher) bondées car il s'agit d'une destination très touristique.
Très bonne idée de faire des "vacances intelligentes", je suis moi même repartie la bas dans le cadre d'un séjour linguistique (comme beaucoup de mes vacances) car c'est le meilleur moyen de rencontrer des gens du monde entier. Tu verras, il existe une multitude d'organismes, moi je suis partie avec EF, c'était top car l'école est à 1min à pied de la plage et de la vie nocturne ; et ma résidence juste en face de l'école 😎
Dans ma classe il y avait des russes, coréens, espagnoles, italiens et allemand. Et dans l'école encore plus de nationalités. Le directeur de l'école est super proche des étudiants et j'ai trouvé ça super touchant. Les maltais sont super chaleureux tu verras.
