J'ai repéré une école de cinéma documentaire à Buenos Aires qui présente assez bien. il s'agit de l'Observatorio de Cine de Buenos Aires. J'aimerais savoir si qqun a déjà suivi des cours là-bas et ce qu'il en pense. (Qualité des cours, type d'établissement, infrastructures, matériel, etc.)
As-tu trouvé des réponses à ta question alors? Je m'apprête à partir l'an prochain sans doute à Buenos Aires, et j'aimerai bien faire un peu d'études de ciné là-bàs. Tu y es allé? En sais tu plus sur cette école ou un autre dans le cinéma sur la capitale?
Tu arrives très tard car je suis revenu en Belgique depuis mais j'ai plein de trucs à te raconter.
1) L'observatorio est une usine à gaz ! Je m'y suis inscrit, j'ai payé le montant d'inscription. Et mensonge, après mensonge, les cours n'ont jamais commencé. Le directeur, Mario Durrieu, n'a pas arrêté de repousser le début des cours pour des motifs de plus en plus absurdes et finalement j'ai appris que nous étions seulement 2 inscrits et que rien n'avait été organisé. J'ai alors essayé de récupérer mon argent et il m'a fallu plus d'un an pour le récupérer, j'aime même du aller surprendre Mario Durrieu dans son école de Barcelone parce qu'il ne répondait pas à mes e-mails, ni à mes coups de fil. Je déconseille l'Observatorio, ce sont des arnaqueurs. D'ailleurs, je n'ai pas été le seul à être victime de l'Observatorio et différentes victimes de ces arnaques ont créé un blog pour se plaindre : http://afectadosxobservatoriodecine.wordpress.com/
2) Ne commets pas les mêmes erreurs que moi, renseigne-toi bien avant de partir. Je suis resté un an en Argentine et je n'ai presque pas étudier car après cette arnaque, j'ai eu du mal à trouver autre chose.
3) Tu as surement entendu parler de l'Universidad del Cine à Buenos Aires. C'est une très belle école mais elle est aussi très chère et la section documentaire ne vaut pas grand chose. J'y ai aussi étudié, j'ai vite abandonné et les autres étudiants qui y sont restés m'ont donné raison d'avoir arrêté. Ils ont vraiment l'impression d'avoir payé pour rien.
4) Enfin, je ne vais pas être trop négatif et te donner une note d'espoir. Il y a une école qui vaut la peine à Buenos Aires. Il s'agit du Sica (Sindicato del Cine). C'est une école très bon marché, tu t'inscris aux cours que tu veux et tu fais ton programme toi-même. Elle ne fait pas rêver, elle est nichée à Constitucion, un des quartiers les plus glauques de Buenos Aires, mais on y apprend vraiment la technique et il y a une super dynamique qui fait que tu rencontreras des gens motivés qui veulent vraiment faire du ciné et pas des fils-à-papa qui apprécient le cinéma et pensent qu'il suffit de payer une bonne école pour être un bon cinéaste. Je ne sais pas si on peut s'inscrire à distance donc le mieux est d'aller sur place et de faire la file le jours des inscriptions. Attention certains cours se remplissent très vite car il y a une effervescence assez incroyable autour du cinéma à Buenos Aires.

D'abord, tu me parles d'aller faire un tour lors des inscriptions... C'est à quelle époque? Mars je suppose, comme l'université? Je devrais arriver cet été là-bàs, mi Juillet à priori, juste avant le début du...second semestre. Sais-tu s'il est possible de rejoindre l'école au second semestre?
Si non, ce n'est pas très grave, ca me laissera le temps de préparer mon inscription dans la bonne école, je compte rester un an. Alors à ce moment là, puisque apparemment tu as pas mal vadrouillé et poussé les recherches sur ce qui se fait dans le ciné là-bàs, je serai plutôt chaud pour joindre une asso en lien avec le ciné, ou tout simplement faire un tour un peu à la fac et assister à 2-3 amphis plus théorique sur le cinéma argentin ou d'amérique latine. Si tu sais des choses là-dessus?
Pour finir, ptites questions plus techniques-pratiques: Sachant que je suis débutant, à la fois en espagnol et dans le ciné (grand cinéphile mais pas pratiquant, je compte justement sur cette année pour m'y mettre) est- ce que cette école a des exigences sur ce niveau là? Et, enfin, tout simplement, qu'as-tu payé pour l'inscription?
