Étudiante en France, je dois bientôt faire mes choix pour passer une année à l'étranger l'an prochain. J'hésite surtout entre Buenos Aires, Montevideo et Mar del Plata.
Pouvez vous me faire partager vos expériences sur ces villes ? Notamment la question de la vie étudiante, culturelle (Montevideo ? Mar del Plata ?), associative mais aussi de la qualité de vie (Montevideo n'est elle pas plus agréable que la géante Buenos Aires ?), de l'accès à la nature (est il facile de sortir de BA ou Monte pour trouver un peu de campagne, de voyager ?)...
Voilà, quelques questions en vrac...si vous avez d'autres idées.
les trois villes sont étudiantes et intéressantes culturellement, bien que la vie culturelle soit plus riche à Buenos Aires.
Du point de vue de la qualité de vie, je ne choisirais pas Buenos Aires, surtout pour y rester un an. C'est très vite étouffant, très pollué, les automobilistes roulent comme de vrais tarés et de nombreux piétons se font renverser. De plus je trouve la vie nocturne moins rassurante à Buenos Aires, après tout dépend dans quel quartier tu comptes t'installer. Les deux quartiers les plus sympa à mon avis sont Palermo et San Telmo.
Pour sortir de Buenos Aires, il faut compter une heure de car au moins pour se rendre dans des petites villes sympas aux alentours (car il y a énormément de bidonvilles à la périphérie de Buenos Aires, il faut en sortir...), et il faut compter davantage de temps pour aller dans des coins plus touristiques.
Bref, Buenos Aires n'est pas une très belle ville à mon goût et n'est pas très agréable...
Montevideo, c'est génial, très animé, culturellement intéressant, mais il faut savoir que la vie y est beaucoup plus chère qu'à Buenos Aires ou Mar del Plata ! Les plages y sont magnifiques, les plus belles selon moi. Sinon, les alentours de Montevideo, je ne connais pas.
MAR DEL PLATA : ville que je choisirai sans hésiter !! Ville extrêmement touristique certes, mais pas plus que Montevideo, mais elle compte de nombreux événements culturels toutes l'année, il y a aussi de nombreuses équipes de sport (et assos pour en faire)... Il y a un des plus grand casino du monde qui contient le théâtre où se déroulent les plus grandes pièces. De nombreux musées, de nombreuses salles de ciné, de nombreux bars branchés, de nombreux spectacles, de nombreux endroits où se balader ou à visiter aux alentours, que demander de mieux ?
Voilà, tout ça ce n'est que mon avis, en conclusion, évite Buenos Aires, et sache que tu as vraiment de la chance d'aller passer un an de ta vie là-bas ! Il y a de nombreuses choses à faire, de nombreux km à parcourir, alors si tu as la possibilité de te prendre quelques semaines de vacances, pars faire une grande boucle sinon tu passerais à côté de choses extraordinaires...
Je pense que Mar del Plata est effectivement le meilleur choix.
C'est la moins chère des trois, il y a beaucoup de petites villes sympas à visiter aux alentours. Beaucoup de français choisissent cette ville pour le climat ni trop chaud ni trop froid. Et Camille à raison sur tout.

La vie à Mar del Plata est enchanteresse. Tu ne verras même pas ton année passer.
Très grand ville còtière à l'aspect d'un village. On s'y sent bien et chez soi.
La vie est beaucoup moins trépidente et beaucoup plus sécurisante qu'à Buenos-Aires.
Tout est central.
Passe une très bonne année d'étude.

je reviens de 3 mois en Argentine et je repars vivre la bas, ma petite amie est argentine, et je pars vivre à Buenos Aires, perso je ne trouve pas que Buenos Aires soit une ville polluée de par sa situation géographique (cotiere), certes il y a du traffic, certes ca roule vite, certes il y a de l'insécurité, mais pas plus que dans n'importe quelle capitale... moi je vivais a constitucion, quartier le plus dangereux de Buenos Aires et perso je ne m'y sentais pas en insécurité, apres il faut juste savoir quoi faire et surtout ne pas faire...
apres là ou je rejoins Camille, tu es une fille et sans faire part de machisme, c'est tres different pour un homme ou une femme de voyager ou de vivre seul dans un pays autre que le sien, surtout en Amerique Latine, mais a savoir qu'a Buenos Aires, comme a Mar del Plata, physiquement tu passeras pour une argentine, ce n'est pas Lima, La Paz ou Bogota... apres niveau économie, effectivement Buenos Aires est plus cher que Mar del Plata...
enfin toutes les personnes que j'ai rencontrées et qui étudiaient a Buenos Aires étaient enchantées, apres chacun ses gouts, moi j'ai adoré et c'est avec grand plaisir que je vais vivre la bas, de plus le systeme de bus est tres bien desservi, pas besoin de voiture... et quoiqu'on en dise les argentins, pour etre sud americains, conduisent relativement bien, crois moi, ce n'est pas le Venezuela, la Bolivie ou le Perou ou je suis deja allé... certes c'est plus nerveux qu'en Europe mais en meme temps en Europe on nous laisse pas conduire...
a toi de voir, que ce soit Mar del ou Bs Aires, tu seras enchantée, n'en doute pas, et pour peu que tu rencontres un argentin et tu restes là bas... car c'est un pays merveilleux, avec des gens merveilleux, de la bonne bouffe, du bon vin, de la bonne musique, des paysages merveilleux, des ambiances tres festives (tango, football, boites de nuit)

Je vis au brésil actuellement et ici c'est difficile, c'est un pays très fermé et très inégalitaire, je n'ai pas le droit d'y étudier tant que je n'ai pas mon visa permanent (marié avec une bresilienne) et cela fait des mois que j'attends.
Donc je souhaiterais faire ma fac éventuellement à Mar del plata ou en patagonie, je suis déjà allé à Mar Del plata. Mon soucis est de trouver une université qui n'exige pas d'examen d'espagnol, je parle français et portugais couramment, j'ai un bon niveau d'anglais, mais mon espagnol est mauvais. Je n'ai pas trop de soucis sur la lecture, mais plus sur l'expression orale et écrite.

J'en porfite pour donner mon opinion un peu sur l'argentine et je dis que c'est le pays que l'on peut trouver qui soit le plus proche au niveau européen en termes de culture. En Argentine j'ai trouvé qu'ils conduisaient plutôt bien, ici le clignotant c'est une fois l'an, les feux rouges c'est pareil, on sort avant que le feu ne soit au vert et on passe tout le temps au rouge, d'où le nombre d'accidents très élevés et souvent mortels, sans parler des queues de poisson et que tout le monde veut passer en même temps. J'ai vu que les argentins quand ils attendent le bus ils se mettent en file, ici tout le monde veut passer en même temps, l'argentin est quand même à mes yeux bien plus discipliné que le brésilien. Mais venant de france directement il est évident que le point de vue doit être légèrement différent étant que le point de référence de chacun n'est plus le même.
