J'ai besoin de conseils concernant mon prochain choix de vacances : Nous sommes un jeune couple de 28 ans et nous hésitons entre le club med de Kani aux Maldives ou de Columbus aux Bahamas. Quelqu'un aurait il eu la chance de faire les 2 et de pouvoir les comparer ???
Nous souhaitons partir cet hiver entre décembre et mars. On recherche des vacances paradisiaques mais ce n'est pas non plus un voyage de noce et j'ai tout de même envie de faire des activités : plongés, sport, excursions...
Ce sera forcément l'un ou l'autre !!!
Bonjour, nous sommes allés à Kani pour la fin de l'année 2006 début 2007, c'était magique, c'est une ile comme on imagine, 20mn pour en faire le tour, nous avons fait beaucoup de snorkling, c super, je vous conseil de faire ce que vous voulez, on est pas obligé de suivre!!! tt était parfait, et d'une propretée, nous ne voulions pas de bruit alors nous avions pris une chambre au bout de l'ile, on vit pieds nus(sauf au resto!), nous partons pour une autre ile cette année au coco palm pour changer cela nous a tellement plu, entre temps nous somme allés aux caraïbes mais ce n'est absolument pas comparable, c trés bien mais en tant qu'iles les maldives c le TOP!si vous avez besoin de renseignements complémentaires n'hésitez pas.Cordialement Lu6ole
Je n'ai pas fait Kani mais j'ai fait Colombus Isle et une île des Maldives. Sauf à ce que quelqu'un décrive Kani négativement, je dirai sans hésitation : Va à Kani !!!
En tout cas pour la plongée et le snorkeling c'est sûr. De plus sur Colombus Isle il n'y a quasiment rien à voir : tu ne sors pas du club med

J'étais à COLUMBUS fin mars-début avril 2008, mais pas encore à KANI (je compte y aller).
Tu peux aller à COLUMBUS les yeux fermés : le paradis sur TERRE! On est seul sur l'île (il n'y a que le clubmed), les bahaméens sont extras, pour le snorkeling : on t'amène en bateau sur des supers spots de plongées (compris dans le prix) à raison de 2 fois par jour : génial! Et que dire du CLUB!!!
Pour les excursions : l'île fait 18km sur 10km : on a vite fait le tour mais ça vaut le coup. A voir absolument : la plage où débarqua CHRISTOPHE COLOMB (idyllique) et le fameux lagon de COLUMBUS : nous y étions, et notre bateau était accompagné d'un requin juste à côté de nous : MAGIQUE!
Par contre, ne pas y aller après avril : risque important de pluie.
A la réception, on m'a dit qu'il y a un drôle de cycle : toutes les 3-4 semaines, même de janvier à mars, il pleut plusieurs jours d'affilée sans discontinuer!! On a eu qu'une demi journée d'orage : on a eu de la chance, sinon super temps.
Moralité : ne pas tomber dans la mauvaise semaine côté météo.

Il faut décrire plus vos envies, cependant voici qq points: plongées plus profondes (40m vs 30m), grande visi mais moins de poissons à Col. vs. à K Col. très américain, Kani plus varié en clientèle température 25° à Col vs. 31° à K qui est presque à l'équateur. très peu d'excursions dans les deux cas. Pilotis à Kani; île plus grande à Col.

L'ile est très belle, et assez sauvage
le club med est top, qualité du buffet, des prestations, du staff !!
le bungalow face a la plage, pas de bruit
y aller en couple, c'est très romantique
j'ai fais de la plongée, j'ai bien aimé, mais c vrai que mm avec un masque eu bord de l'eau on voit aussi pas mal de poissons superbes !
que dire d'autre....juste que c'était du bonheur...que je reve s'y retourner et que je regarde svt mes photos de vacances ;-))

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
