Je viens de passer une excellente et inoubliable semaine à l'hotel playa Pesquero à Holguin. Le service est en general tres bon et la nouriture aussi.
😏 Les plus:Excellent service aux restaurants et aux bars, personnel très professionnel, accueillant et sympatique. Bonne animation le soir. Excellent service aux chambres. Activités aquatiques impeccables.Les chambres sont tres bien amménagées et le mobilier est neuf contrairement à quelques critiques sur le net.
🙁 Les moins:
Problèmes récurrents avec les cartes magnétiques des chambres avec à chaque fois 2 heures d'attente avant de pouvoir rentrer dans sa chambre. Vous allez au lobby (surtout le premier jour à 5 h du matin et qu'on ne sait pas encore s'orienter dans le site) et on vous dis que la carte fonctionne mais on vous en donne une autre vous repartez et là ça ne fonctionne toujours pas. Retour au lobby, perte en chemin et on vous dis qu'on vous envoie un technicien tout de suite. Retour à la chambre attente 1h du technicien qui vient pas, retour au lobby et là vous dites que vous ne bougerez pas sans le technicien. Ça aurait plus simple d'avoir des téléphones dans les corridors pour joindre le lobby. Ça m'est arrivé à deux reprises.
La nourriture excellente mais j'ai trouvé le goût un peu fade donc ramenez avec vous des épices.
Ce qui est servi ne refl`te parfois pas ce qui est inscrit au menu.Ex j'ai commandé une entrecôte de veau au champignons avec sauce à la crème (menu) ce que j'ai mangé c'était un steak de surlonge de vache trop cuit et il n'y avait pas de champignons ni de sauce. Autre fois salade césard au anchois mais pas d'anchois dans l'assiette.
Autre conseil demandez toujours les quantités en double car les assittes sont vraiment petites
Mais en général, malgrè les moins, très bon hôtel.

Merci pour ton résumé, j'ai été 3 fois a cet hôtel et toujours bien aimer, ton résumé ressemble a ce que j'y ai constate, pour la nourriture, oui elle est bonne, mais fade comme tu dis, c'est vrai que parfois nous n'avons pas toujours ce que nous demandons, mais j'ai eu comme réponse qu'il n'y en n'avait plus et qu'ils ont remplaces le tout par autre chose, pas trop grave quand même, je me promet d'y retourner cette année vers la fin septembre.
Pour le personnel rien a redire, Lionel au pool bar et Yale au relation publique sont nos préférés, les chambres aussi parfaite en ce qui nous concerne, nous avons eu le même problème que vous pour la porte, mais 10 minutes après et c'était réparé.
Bonjour Gisèle, oui c'est un très bon hôtel et le personnel parle parfaitement l'anglais. Pour les préposées aux chambres un peu moins mais on arrive à communiquer. Pour les restos à la carte je te conseille de réserver tes 4 choix pour la semaine le jour de ton arrivée. Il y a une grande salle avec trois employées de l'hôtel pour faire ses choix. Les personnes qui ont essayé de réserver au fur et à mesure n'ont pas toujours trouvé les horaires qui les arrangeaient. Si tu as d'autres questions n'hésite pas

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
