Comme c est dit dans mon titre, je souhaite aller étudier aux Etats Unis.
Je suis lyonnaise et en terminale, et depuis plusieurs années je rêve d'aller vivre ou au moins étudier aux Etats Unis.
Je voudrais savoir si certains l ont déja fait et ce qu'ils en pensent, et votre avis sur mes chances de réussite, vu que j'ai pas des notes géniales et que je suis loin d'être bilingue.(J'ai des notes correcte en anglais mais je suis allée a New York cet hiver et je me suis apperçue que c était pas du tout representatif ! )
Je m'intéresse à l'immobilier, au management, au tourisme et j'aimerai étudier dans ces voies la.
Pour moi c est vraiment l aventure donc tout conseils et avis sont bienvenus !!! 🙂

effectivement apprendre la langue me parait la première chose a faire, et je pensais justement orienter mon choix sur une école ou les cours seraient en francais et ou je pourrais prendre des cours d'anglais intensifs. Mais j'ai du mal a en trouver une avec ces criteres; pourtant je sais que ça existe.
Une autre idée, c était de prendre un an de cours de langue intensif avant de commencer des etudes sup

oui j ai un peu d argent de coté et ma mere pourra payer mes études, enfin elle pourra mettre ce qu'elle comptait mettre si j étudiais en france, quoi. Il y a pas des bourses d'aide aux étudiants étrangers ?

pour info, je compte partir en janvier 2010 j'ai deja eu plusieurs fois les responsables au téléphone, ils affirment que les propositions de bourses sont certaines, jusque la ils nont jamai eu de problèmes, en cas de non placement, il rembourse les frais de dossier! donc rien a perdre!!😄
Pour le niveau d'anglais, je connais des étrangers qui sont en cursus labas qui ne parlai mm pas la langue a leur arrivée. Il faudra passer le toefl pour evaluer ton niveau mais je sais qu'il y a possibilité d'avoir des cours intensifs avant d'integrer le cursus classique sur place. Tout est relatif car l'anglais qu'on enseigne en France ne sert a rien lorsqu'on est en immersion aux states, donc tu apprendra sur place si tu as bonnes bases ce sera du bonus.
je suis en bac+3 en alternance et j'économise déja depuis septembre 2008 donc je devrais avoir pas mal d'argent lors de mon départ, si ca ne marche pas avec calvin thomas je partirai en formule préparation universitaire avec EF, c'est beaucoup très cher mais c'est l'assurance de partir.
Etant donné la complexité pour obtenir la green card, il me semble judicieux d'opter pour les études, c'est le moyen le plus facile d'y rester une longue durée ( au moins 1 an)

C'est pas les organismes qui manquent, t'es tu déja renseigné? en tapant dans google tu aura l'embarras du choix... calvin-thomas, wep, ispa, EF, Aquarius Abroad etc.. ils sont nombreux, après tout dépend de ton bugdet et de combien de temps tu souhaites y rester.
Pratiquement tous les organismes proposent des formules cours d'anglais intensifs! Sur New York, il doit surement en avoir.
commence par jetter un coup d'oeil a calvin-thomas, ils ont une école surnew york pour les cours intensifs il me semble avec leur formule "ISILANGUE"😉
slt le problème est que j'avais effectivement pensé à partir comme filles aux pairs mais le problème est que j'ai 26 ans et que cette nouvelle année me donnera 1 année de plus que faire ?

si tu veux partir 1an, je vois pas d'autres solutions que par 1 visa étude ou un emploi. je connais pas les programme fille au pair donc je ne saurai te dire.
les programmes intensifs dont je parlais sont pour des séjours estivaux 2sem a 2-3 mois. 1an en cours intensifs ca coute cher..🤪
En fait j'ai de la famille à nyc mais je ne veux pas trop compter sur eux au cas où j'aimerais partir pour au moins pour 1 an mon but est d'apprendre l'anglais pendant quelques mois puis d'y travailler afin de m'exprimer et de comprendre car vois-tu je travaille dans l'aérien j'ai pu voir quelques annonces pour des postes basés à nyc je voudrais mettre toutes les chances de mon côte pour y parvenir.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
Are there any special requirements before leaving France (aside from taxes...)?

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area. Anyway, that’s not the main point—could anyone explain the pros and cons of doing this job in Switzerland? Based on the paperwork I’ve received, the equivalence seems purely administrative or almost... What about working conditions, quality of life, salaries, etc.?
