J'ai vu de nombreux sujet sur les mutations EN en Guyane mais les messages étaient assez "vieux" donc j'ai décidé de poster ma propre question :)
J'ai demandé comme première mutation la Guyane (je suis stagiaire en anglais cette année) ce vœux de mutation est un vrai choix, je pense l'obtenir "assez facilement" dans la mesure ou j'ai mis tout mes points sur ce vœux. Bref, je me demandais quelle ville choisir? j'hésite entre Cayenne et Kourou comme beaucoup de monde!! mon cœur balance vers Cayenne car j'y ai vécu trois années fantastiques étant fille de militaire, je garde un souvenir merveilleux de ce département.
Néanmoins, je trouve les offres immobilières moins chères sur Kourou, et j'ai un souvenir assez net d'une ville plus petite mais agréable. J'ai adoré Cayenne, mais je me demande si finalement je ne gagnerais pas en qualité de vie en choisissant Kourou. Cela dit j'ai également le souvenir d'une ville calme et beaucoup moins vivante que Cayenne! j'y ai vécu il y a 15 ans déjà!!!
finalement que me conseillez vous? j'ai été à l'école et au collège à Cayenne, j'étais encore bien jeune néanmoins je garde un souvenir très positif de cette ville. Je dois avouer avoir peur d'avoir gardé une image parfaite de ma vie à Cayenne, comme on en garde souvent lorsqu'il s'agit de notre enfance...

Je suis guyanaise d'origine, (actuellement en métropole) et peut te donner ces quelques conseils.
Choisis la commune (cayenne ou kourou) en fonction de ce que tu vas rechercher prioritairement.
C'est vrai que kourou est une petite ville tranquille, mais pas bien loin de Cayenne (45Km). Ca bouge peu le soir et rencontrer facilement les gens n'est pas toujours très évident. J'y ai vécu 2 ans. Pour la tranquillité c'est parfait.
En revanche, si tu es quelqu'un qui aime, sortir le soir, les marchés (fruits et légumes)animés, alors je dirais opte pour Cayenne.
Mais encore une fois, tout dépend de tes centres d'intérêts et attraits.

en regardant les frais que mon demenagement imposera j'étais clairement au bord de l'apoplexie! 🤪 j'ai lu que les jeunes profs en première mutation ne pouvaient avoir d'aide à part l'aide "au logement" 500 euros dans mon cas. Je trouve cela absolument inadmissible, je sais que je vais devoir m'endetter pour pouvoir partir car ce n'est pas l'avance sur salaire qui m'aidera beaucoup (même si c'est un taux 0% il y a tout de même une prise sur salaire tous les mois, mon mari étant au chômage cela risque d'être serré!) bref, je n'ai pas réellement compris si les billets d'avion sont pris en charges uniquement si l'on a 4 ans de service comme c'est le cas pour l'aide au déménagement...? je vois "prise en charge de 80% du prix du billet pour l'agent..
si quelqu'un à des réponses en ce qui concerne ce point.. J'ai bien compris que je n'aurais pas droit à l'aide ni à la prime (ce qui me fait voir rouge également!) ce n'est pas comme si les jeunes profs étaient ceux qui galéraient le plus à l’éducation nationale..

Normalement tu as droit à une première prime si tu tiens le coup jusqu'en décembre, et une 2e prime si tu tiens le coup jusqu'en juin, et une aide au retour en métropole après 2 ans. Tu peux demander une aide pour te loger à ton établissement, il est possible qu'ils aient des logements de fonction vides et en tous cas ils auront des conseils pour toi.
Je te conseille de ne pas faire expédier tous tes meubles, etc. et de les mettre au garde-meuble voire si ta famille a un sous-sol, de les y mettre. Cela diminuera les frais de déménagement et si jamais tu découvres que tu ne peux supporter la Guyane en tant qu'adulte, tu pourras plus facilement revenir.
Ce qui est merveilleux pour les enfants peut être difficile pour les adultes: tu vas devoir enseigner l'anglais à des enfants qui arrivent parfois affamés et qui ne parlent pas français, qui sont habitués à être très libres et indépendants donc pour qui une salle de classe peut être pénible, etc.
Les horaires sont "décalés" comparé à la France, je crois que les cours au collège commencent à 7h30 et finissent à 14h30 car les locaux scolaires ne sont pas climatisés. Prépare toi à faire beaucoup d'heures sup parce qu'il y a peu de profs disponibles et ceux qui viennent de métropole ont tendance à partir au bout de 6 mois, découragés. Peut-être que le collège aura qqch pour ton mari en "contrat local" s'il a une licence ou équivalent, tu pourras demander une fois que tu seras affectée. Ceux qui restent, en revanche, adorent. Comme tu y as déjà vécu et que tu sais quand même un peu à quoi t'attendre, tu devrais (je l'espère pour toi) faire partie du 2e groupe.
Equipe toi d'un maximum de manuels "interactifs" destinés au cycle 3 car il y a beaucoup d'idées adaptables pour des 6e-5e (qui sont au niveau A1 pour la plupart, certains vont vers le A2) par exemple cahiers de vacances de Enjoy, petits cahiers destinés au Key Stage 2 anglais, etc.. car tu auras peu de choix de ressources une fois sur place. Je ne sais pas si (ironiquement) amazon expédie là-bas.
