J'ai de l'expérience avec les bébés car moi même je suis mère d'un enfant de 5 ans ! (j'ai 32 ans, bac +4). J'ai également gardé plusieurs bébés dont mes petits frères quand ils étaient petits et récemment, ma nièce de 11 mois.
Bien sûr que je n'ai pas de contraintes familiales : à savoir que mon fils sera gardé par son papa et par sa grand-mère.

Pour travailler aux USA il faut un visa de travail, meme si le sejour dure moins de 90 jours. Le visa de travail pour garder des enfants s'obtient en passant par une agence specialisé et il y a des criteres stictes (je crois que l'age en fait partit).
Pour repondre a ta question ...pour notre besoin a nous qui est qu' une experience en famille + bonus $$$ et cous d'englais.....si c'est moin que 3 mois tu nas pas besoin d'un visa . mais apres le 90 jours..oui sa se complique !!!

C'est totalement interdit, la personne qui va vous rendre ce "service" remuneré risque gros et vous aussi. Les personnes qui vivent dans une famille et gardent les enfants en echange d'une remuneration et parfois de cours d'anglais sont des "filles au pair" et c'est un travail. Personne, a part un americain, ne peut exercer un travail aux USA sans visa approprié, et meme pour moins de 90 jours. Pour obtenir le visa au pair, il faut passer par une agence (exemple: http://www.calvin-thomas.com/aupair/index.php )
Les personnes qui se rendent aux USA pour moins de 90 jours avec un Visa Waiver ne peuvent le faire que dans le cadre d'un voyage touristique. L'immigration americaine ne rigole pas du tout avec ça.
Proposer du travail au noir et faire courir des risques a une personne est une chose. Dire que c'est legal si c'est moins de 3 mois en est une autre.

Le service de l'immigration américain définit comme au pair celui ou celle qui vit au domicile d'une famille de résidents américains, dans le but de perçevoir une rémunération en argent ou en nature en fournissant en contrepartie des services divers tels que la garde d'enfants, des tâches ménagères, de la cuisine ou encore des cours de langue.
De même que pour les programmes étudiants en "sponsorship", le visa J-1 est requis pour effectuer un séjour au pair aux Etats-Unis en ayant recours à des organismes spécialisés agréés par le Département d'Etat. Ces organismes délivreront alors le formulaire IAP-66, indispensable pour obtenir le visa J-1. Les jeunes filles désirant travailler dans le cadre de ces programmes doivent être agées de 18 à 27 ans et être titulaires du baccalauréat ou d'un certificat de fin d'études. Le visa sera alors délivré pour un an et non renouvelable.
