Vais je touver du boulo, quelles sont les démarches administratives pour y vivre, comment sont les gens là bas. Enfin encore des hésitations.
J'aimerais que vous me parlez de vos expériences si vous l'avez fait.
Moi aussi je compte aller m'installer là-bas, mais pas tout de suite. Avec mon copain on va y aller 3 semaines en Décembre 2005 et après on économise à mort pour aller s'y installer le plus vite possible. Au fait, tu prévois combien du budget pour aller vivre là-bas ?
Si tu cherche des infos y a un bouquin qui a l'air génial (mais qui est introuvable !) qui s'appelle :" le petit zoz illustré : s'installer en nouvelle calédonie". J'arrive pas à mettre la main dessus, pourtant il me le faut !

Moi je suis à Nouméa depuis Fevrier et c'est vraiment super.Nous sommes tres fatigués car on vit ici un peu comme en vacances mais avec le boulot en plus.Et financierement il faut tout de meme faire attention, car meme si certains salaires sont plus conséquent qu'en France, on craque facilement pour tout et n'importe quoi (comme en vacances) et quand ont fait les comptes a la fin du mois on se dit aie!!! aie !!!
Les loyers sont cher ici alors le mieux au debut c'est d'aller a l'auberge de jeunesse (qui est en centre ville pratiquement)en attendant de trouver du boulot ou alors de faire du camping ce qui est le mieux ici pour voyager et voir le pays .Les personnes travaillant dans le médical et l'éducation sont presque sur de trouver du taf.Beaucoup de demande de patissier et cuisinier aussi, les autres secteurs je ne connais pas trop .
Nous sommes ici jusqu'en 02/2006 et comptons bien profiter de cette chance.
Je n'ai pas vraiment de budget pour y aller enfin je vais essayer de faire au moins cher, mais je pars un peu à l'aventure avec un maximum d'info et puis on verra sur place car si je ne le fait pas maintenant je le ferais jamais.

Je sais que mon ami trouvera facilement du travail car ces corps de m"tiers sont très demandé même en province dans pas de soucis ce qui est moins probable pour mon cas.
Mon mari est cuisinier dans la marine Nationale .Il commence le matin à 6h30 et termine à 14h .Nous avons une vrai vie de famille, enfin!!!!.Car avant quand nous étions à Brest il partait 6 mois en mer sans revenir (dur dur).J'ai fais les 2 grossesses et les 2 accouchements sans lui !!!!
Il a eu la chance de faire le tour du monde tout en bossant et de visiter pas mal de pays.(superficiellement mais bon c'est toujours mieux que rien).
Quand à moi je suis monitrice d'équitation mais je n'ai pas repris ici, car je préfère privilégier pour l'instant ma vie de famille et mes 2 pepettes qui ont 3 et 5 ans.J'ai fais un essai d'une semaine dans le plus gros club de Nouméa mais leur façon de travailler ne m'a pas plu, je n'est pas trop l'habitude de l'usine même à 10000F français par mois.
Alors je suis à la maison et pour me faire un budget sup. je garde 2 bb chez moi et mes filles sont ravi.
Bien sur de retour en France je reprend ma passion évidement, disons que je m'octrois des longues vacances .
Je suis heureuse de faire 2 ans ici et je profite de cette chance mais en toute franchise je ne me vois pas y vivre ou il faudrait que ce soit en Brousse car je trouve qu'à Nouméa les gens se basent énormément sur l'apparence (sauf les mélanésiens que je trouve plus francs) .

Oui excellent choix la calédo, je sais.😎 En fait j'y ai déjà passé 2 semaines en novembre 2003 pour des vacances. Et je suis tombée sous le charme de cet endroit si nonchalant. Sans oublier l'île la plus proche du paradis, l'Île des Pins! Waou... Des plages à couper le souffle avec personne à l'horizon où tu peux plonger même si comme moi tu ne sais pas bien nager et ainsi voir de magnifiques dociles et vraiment pas farouches poissons colorés comme dans un aquarium tout en ayant pied. Re-waou... Et c'est dans cet endroit de rêve que j'ai rencontré mon homme et me voici donc à Sydney aujourd'hui...
Et prochainement à Nouméa j'espère. Je ne travaille pas actuellement. Enfin, pas comme tout le monde l'entend. Pour moi c'est du travail. Je peins de façon sabbatique... Pour le plaisir et par nécessité seulement. Ca ne me rapporte aucun argent mais beaucoup de satisfaction. Bref, je m'égare... Après 7 années dans une crèche auprès de tout petits boutchous j'avais besoin de souffler... Donc pour la suite je vais changer totalement de trajectoire. Je n'ai pas d'idée très précise. Peut-être dans un hôtel ou tout autre chose. Ce n'est pas très important pour moi. J'imagine que le travail n'est pas le principal lorsque tu vis sous le soleil. Même si la vie est chère...

mon chéri est prof et il projète de demander sa mutation l'année prochaine pour la nouvelle calédonie. Nous avons une petite fille de 6 ans. cela vous parait-il dingue comme projet vous qui vivez là bas autant au niveau boulot, vie quotidienne... pour la petite ...Moi j'ai un BTS Tourisme

Alors n'hésitez pas, ici les profs sont bien payé et c'est sur 3 ou 4 ans (renouvelable) je crois.
Quand aux enfants, ils ne faut pas s'en faire pour eux, ils s'adaptent plus vite que nous.
Mes 2 petites avaient 3 et 41/2 quand nous sommes arrivé et à part la grande qui nous a fait un petit coup de déprime au départ, elle se sentent tres bien ici, elles ont appris à nager, sont dehors la plupart du temps et ne connaissent pas la télé (sauf les D.V.D Walt Disney). Quand au grossesse ici, aucun probleme . Si tu supporte mal la grande chaleur il faut juste calculer de facon à ne pas tomber durant les derniers mois en janvier ou fevrier. Mais sinon Nouméa est une grande ville ou il y a de tout et aussi une maternité, donc pas d'inquitude .Et meme en brousse les femmes continue d'avoir des enfants et ils ne se portent pas plus mal pour autant.
C'est une expérience à faire de plus que vous pouvez au bout du contrat dire aller on rentre ou bien comme beaucoup ici renouveller le contrat et finir par demander à rester.
Il y a un temps d'adaptation, un temps de réjouissance, un temps de rejet, un temps d'acceptation et ensuite je crois qu'on n'arrive plus à partir.
Nous sommes arrivés entre la réjouissance (content d'etre encore là) et le rejet (content de rentrer dans 10 mois).
Je crois que ce qui me fait le plus flipper c'est l'éloignement avec la famille. Etant donné le prix des billets d'avion, on peut évidemment pas rentrer plusieurs fois par an...

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
