nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants et souhaitons aller vivre au costa rica tres prochainement. Nous aimerions savoir si cela est possible d'avoir la residence sans que cela nous coutent toutes nos economies. j'ai vu plusieurs sites dans lequel etait inscrit qu'il faillait avoir 60k par adulte et tout le tra..la..al etc. j'aimerais savoir s'il y'a quelqu'un qui a deja passe par un avocat sans suivre toute les mille et une lois pour obtenir la residence. je ne veux pas de noms, mais seulement si c'est possible de le faire. Ca me permettrais de rever a partir plus vite d'un monde de consommation dans lequel nous vivons nous ici en amerique du nord.

Parti de montreal en septembre et nous vivons au costa Rica depuis le 20 septembre. Nous avions comme vous le desir de residence et il est en train de se concretiser.
Nous avons fournit la demande directement a Montreal, car vous devez la faire avant de partir pour le pays. Ensuite fournir differents documents, mais pas tres complique. Le plus difficile est d avoir un avocat ici pour traiter la demande, car sinon vous devez passer par Casacanada et c est peut etre plus long.
Mais vous devez penser a mettre un certain montant pour authentifier la demande c est sur.
Les demarches valent surement tout le tralala.

POur la demarche de demande de residence, celle ci doit se faire obligatoirement du pays d origine. De toute facon c est beaucoup plus facile, car vous avez tous les papiers en main. Ce qui n est pas toujours evident a distance.
L exigence est d avoir un plan pour de l investissement ici au Costa Rica. Ou encore d etre rentier.

OUi effectivement nous avons 3 enfants, le plus vieux est en premiere anne de college, 13 ans, l autre a 10 ans, il est en 4e, et une fille de 19 ans qui viendra nous rejoindre en fevrier.
Oui les demarches de residences sont faites depuis Montrela au mois d avril, et nous avons trouve un avocat ici pour traiter la demande.
Notre maison nous la louons 200 Us. par mois. Mais c est grace a l avocat qui connaissait un gars du coin que le prix est si peu dispendieux, car je crois que cela tourne autour de 400.

je pars pour habiter au costa le 27 decembre 2006 avec ma fille de 14 ans, j ai achete une maison a orotina que je vais retaper (ancienne maison en bois ) je n ai pas dedmande la residence je fais un essai de 6 mois jusqu en juillet savoir si ma fille va se plaire sachant que sa maman est en france .
je me suis renseigne ^pour la residence ce n est pas tres complique quand on connait des gens et souvent tout depend de l activite que vous allez faire et tout ca c est un peu au cas par cas
sinon je vais separer ma maison en deux pour louer des chambres avec cuisine commune j aurais chambres dispos que je louerai 6 euros par jour la maison est situee sur la commune de orotina a 30minutes de jaco puntarenas 400 metres centre bourg a une heure 15 de san jose (3dollars 50)
pour ma fille je ai inscrite a l ecole privee a orotina 103 dolars par mois tres bonne une obligation pour quelle puisse rapidement maitriser la langue l ecole plublique est tres bien mais bcp d eleve par classe par contre gratuite pour tous
c est un chagement de vie totale mais ce pays et les gens qui l animent m ont fait franchir le pas
Ma femme et moi allons partir vivre au Costa rica en 2009.
Ma femme est Tica et habite au Québec depuis 1977.
Nous nous sommes marié au Costa rica en 2005, juste pour avoir cette autorisation du Gouvernement du Costa rica
ça été assez complexe et long (6 mois) la démarche au Canada est la même que pour avoir la résidence.
Au Costa cela a été plus simple car nous avions un contact qui travaille au gourvernement (le pére de ma femme)
malgré ce bon contact, nous avons été obligé de prendre un avocat et faire traduire tous les documents Canadien en espagnol (obligatoire).
nous alons au Costa rica du 10 février au 25 février faire le tour de Guanacaste pour acheter une maison. nous cherchons une maison 3 chambres à environ 25Km de la mer.
nous prévoyons partir fin 2009 en camion cube modifier afin de pouvroir apporter certain meuble et objets personnel et surtout mes outils de menuiserie pour faire la rénovation de la maison.
si vous avez des conseils à nous donner (chose à faire et à ne pas faire) ça serait très apprécié.
je suis partis de CR apres 2ans de galeres, justement les programmes de residences sont bloques jusqu a nouvel ordre! ils ny aurra plus de residences pour les petits investisseurs, les avocats sont des menteurs incompetents et des corrompus, ils vous menent en bateau, j ai des amis qui ont investis plus de 500 000 dols et sont toujours en attente depuis 5ans...
Donc bonne chance dans le pays le plus infecte d amerique latine
