Le français est la langue étrangère la plus enseignée en Inde, je pense qu'il y a des possibilités dans ce domaine... Mais au niveau légal, il peut y avoir des problèmes. A moins que ce ne soit l'Alliance Française qui vous recrute, et dans ce cas s'occupe de l'obtention du visa (ou au moins apporte son aide).

La question du visa se pose en effet. En contact avec l'Alliance Fançaise de Trivandrum, j'aurai la réponse un peu plus tard. J'ai également à contacter les ministères et ambassades.
Varkala ou - et surtout probablement - son secteur, en poussant jusqu'à Trivandrum, hors de la ville toutrefois. Parce que j'y connais quelqu'un qu'il fera bon y retrouver, et que je me dis que les formations de yoga ne doivent pas être trop loin ! ?

Oh... En effet il sera difficile de "rentrer". Dans quel secteur étudiez-vous ? Et quelle portion géographique de la France rejoindrez-vous ? pour ma part je suis (pour l'heure) dans le Sud Est, en Provence, dont je suis native.
Je suis actuellement en France mais j'ai eu l'occasion de travailler en Inde pendant 2 ans et demi dans une école Internationale (au Gujarat).
J'ai lu que vous vouliez faire ce voyage avec votre fille et pouvoir la scolariser. Il y a de nombreuses écoles internationales en Inde (enseignement en Anglais) et je sais qu'il y en a aussi en Kerala (où exactement, je ne peux pas vous aider, mais c'est possible de trouver facilement par Internet).
Concernant l'obtention de papiers pour avoir le droit de travailler ce n'était pas facile facle d'obtenir un visa de travail auprès de l'ambassade de l'Inde...Si vous arrivez à vous faire embaucher par l'Alliance Française je ne sais pas... Cela dépend ensuite de ce que vous recherchez comme expérience.
Je connais une amie Indienne qui était prof de français dans une école au Kerala (une école Internationale apparemment plutôt bien) donc peut-être une piste... car pas mal d'écoles internationales en Inde proposent des cours de français.

Je ne sais pas si mon amie voudrait que je vous donne son adresse e-mail mais si je me souviens bien l'école où elle travaillait s'appelle "the village international school" au Kerala. En tapant cela sur google tu peux aller voir le site et cliquer sur "career" pour voir s'ils recherchent un prof de français. Mais je ne sais pas dans quelle partie du kerala se trouve l'école.
Pour ma part oui je vais retourner en Inde très bientôt car mon ami est là-bas, alors je vais m'installer là-bas et essayer de trouver un travail et organiser ma vie... On ne peut jamais savoir où la vie nous mène... J'ai beaucoup apprécié de vivre au Gujarat pendant 2 ans et demi. C'était une très bonne expérience. J'espère que votre voyage s'organise bien...

P.S: en cherchant toutes les écoles internationales du Kerala vous pouvez regarder sur chaque site les enseignements dispensés et donc voir si l'école propose du français, les profs de français ne courent pas les rues au kerala je pense alors vous avez toutes vos chances... le problème restant d'avoir un visa de travail... En Inde on ne peut pas passer d'un visa de touriste à un visa de travail sur place donc il faudrait que vous partiez en visa de travail directement ou que vous reveniez en Inde une fois que vous avez trouvé un travail pour changer votre visa.

Salut, Je suis une maman de 3 enfants et mon mari est de Varkala. Si je peux te conseiller, va plutôt sur Pondichéry car à Varkala, il n'y a pas d'écoles francaise et pour ta fille se serait mieux de la scolariser, surtout si tu part un an car les baby sitter, ça laisse à désirer. Tu n'imagine pas la différence de culture !!! Et si tu cherches qqch. de pas trop cher, Varkala, Oublie!!! ils n'ont plus le sens commun, après avoir eu tant de succés auprès du tourisme, c'est juste l'horreur de trouver une maison à des prix raisonable, bref, ils sont devenus très radin et s'ils peuvent te faire un mauvais coup dans le dos, ils ne se gèneront pas. Je te dis cela car j'ai une grande expérience de L'inde et particulièrement Varkala. JEt si tu cherches à donner des cours de Français, tu ne trouveras personnes d'intéressé à varkala, tu sais c'est un petit village. Dans ce cas va plutôt sur Trivandrum ou il y a l'école international, par ex:

Une chose encore, comme varkala est devenu si touristique, beaucoup d'étranger son venu pour faire un quelconques busness et la police les traques depuis une année. J'ai vu 3 personnes se faire foutre dehors du pays avec aucun moyen de refaire un visa car ils ne veulent plus de touristes illégaux faisant du busness dans leur pays sans être complétement en règles. Alors méfies-toi si tu veux faire de l'argent.

je crois que tu as raison, Varkala aura sûrement perdu de son "authenticité" avec le tourisme. J'habite en France en Provence dans un village qui connaît le même phénomène...pour le même résultat.
Je vais donc suivre ton conseil et me diriger vers Trivandrum ou carrément dans un autre Etat.
Il n'est pas question pour moi de "faire de l'argent" en Inde, je voudrais simplement y travailler et y scolariser ma fille et mener à bien ma relation avec mon ami qui est Indien.
Tu dis que ton ami est de Varkala ? Est-il Indien ? Et toi, de quelle origine es-tu ? Si cela ne te dérange pas de me raconter ton histoire, je serais heureuse de communiquer avec toi à ce sujet.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
