cela fait 6 mois que je suis sur le caillou, il est vrai qu'il n'est pas évident de trouver un logement de métropole, pour ma part j'ai trouvé un meublé via le net, la personne ne m'a réclamé aucun justificatif, ni même d'acompte à verser (coup de bol). Le site s'est "www.immobilier.nc",
sinon pour les premier temps tu as l'auberge de jeunesse à Nouméa, beaucoup de personne passe par là en arrivant mais réserve avant de partir.
Pour ton job je ne peux pas te renseigner, ici tout dépend de ton corps de métier, s'il est rechercher ou non...

Nous aussi débarquer depuis 6 mois ici. Pour le logement, nous, on avait reserver 2 mois et demi au motel de l'anse vata, un petit studio tout equipé. Comme ça on a eu le temps de trouver du travail et de reperer les quartiers... Attention on a reserver plusieurs mois à l'avance car c'est tout le temps plein et faut pas imaginer venir et demander un studio de suite. On avait reserver aussi une voiture de loc.
Pour le boulot, je pense que c'est quasiment impossible de trouver depuis la France, sauf mutation. C'est pas facile de se le dire mais je pense qu'il faut se lancer, venir et essayer...ou ça passe et c'est bon ou c'est le retour en france au bout de quelques mois.
Dans tous les cas il faut beaucoup d'argent, pas debarquer avec 2000 euro, c'est peine perdu... et envisagé un retour en france...
Nous, on ne regrette pas d'etre venue mais le parcours est semé d'embuches et c'est bien de se le dire avant de partir, les difficultés il y en a, c'est sur, quand on veut changer de vie... On était pret à cela et on l'avait accepté avant de partir, sinon on ne part pas. Bon courage

Avec l'argent tout est relatif... mais au minimum à mon avis il faut acheter une voiture...c'est un peu comme chez nous, soit tu achetes d'occas une vieille voiture, soit une peu plus recente avec moins de kilometre. Le marché de l'occcas est un peu plus elevé que chez nous. Au minimum on va dire 2000 ou 2500 euro.
Pour le logement nous, au motel de l'anse vata c'etait 1000 euro TTC par mois (studio), donc sur 2 mois tu es à 2000 euro. On est dejà à 4500 euro! et tu n' a pas mangé...tu n'a pas telephoné... faut bien telephoner pour repondre au petites annonces!
Pour notre logement actuel on paye 800 euro par mois pour 40m2 pas loin du centre de Nouméa. On a du payer la caution (2 mois de loyer), le 1er mois, les frais d'agence, soit au total pas loin de 3000 euro. Le total se monte à 7500 euro depensé en l'espace de moins de 3 mois. Maintenant on paye 100 euro d'electricité par mois, plus 85 d'internet (bien pratique pour donner des nouvelles à la famille!!). En gros avec, loyer plus ces 2 charges on est à 1000 euro. J'ai mis par ailleuirs sur notre blog, la liste de nos dernieres courses avec les prix en euro... (www.kikihub@canalblog.com).
Donc tu vois il en faut de l'argent... Apres chacun fait ce qu'il veut, auberge de jeunesse (qui n'heberge que quelques jours...faut bien prevoir la suite...), coloc (certes qui coute moins cher mais faut avoir envie et faut pas s'attendre à payer 30 euro!). Les F4 montent facilement à 1800 euro donc ça fait quand meme à 3personnes 600 euro.
Certains viennent avec peu et galèrent beaucoup mais quand on veut limiter les degats, c'est à dire ne pas vouloir se demander ou on va dormir dans 3 jours, il faut bien tout preparer et venir avec de l'argent.
Je precise que ces données chiffrées n'engagent que moi et certains ont certainement fait differemment mais ça te donne une idée à toi et à ceux qui preparent...

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
