Je suis actuellement Ingénieur d'Etudes et de Recherche (Fonctionnaire - fonction publique d'état) dans une Université en France et ma femme est Assistante de Direction en CDD. il me semble important, avant de partir, de trouver un emploi, mais est ce possible ? En effet, y'a t-il la possibilité de trouver un emploi à Tahiti tout en résidant en France ? où alors, est ce qu'il faut partir "sans rien" et expérer trouver un emploi une fois sur place ?
Etant fonctionnaire, j'ai la possibilité de demander une disponibilité (cela limite les risques si ça ne fonctionne pas puisque je ne perds pas mon emploi en France - c'est d'ailleurs un des points qui nous rassure...), ou une mutation mais j'avoue qu'après avoir lu pas mal de paragraphes sur ce sujet, je suis toujours aussi perdu! la mutation de France vers la Polynésie est-elle possible ou pas ? Si oui, auriez-vous des liens à me donner pour mes recherches ?
A votre avis, est-il plus raisonnable que je cherche un emploi dans le "privé" ? et si oui, les candidatures spontanées sont-elles efficaces ou faut-il attendre des offres d'emplois (type SEFI) ?
Enfin, nous disposons d'un budget de près de 30000€. A votre avis, cela nous laisse combien de temps de marge pour trouver un emploi (si ce n'est pas possible de le trouver avant) ?

Ce qui serait plus raisonnable, serait de tenter de votre côté, de faire demande de mutation.
Les mutations de métropole vers la Polynésie ne sont faisables que pour les fonctionnaires d'Etat. Donc vous rentrez dans le shéma.
Sinon, contacter l'UPF (Université de la Polynésie Française) et voir avec eux les opportunités qui peuvent s'offrir à vous, puisqu'il y a un département recherche avec différents labos, et voir les démarches à entreprendre. www.upf.pf
Dans le privé, à votre niveau et suivant votre spécialité (?), ce sera plus aléatoire.
De plus si vous pouvez obtenir une mutation, tous vos frais (voyage et démenagement...) seront pris en charge.
Si déjà, vous avez un emploi, votre épouse, pourra faire sa recherche une fois sur place.

Normalement, les postes de fonctionnaires d'état mutés en Polynésie, sont des postes à profils , et soumis à appel à candidature .
Il a déjà été dit sur ce forum, que la Polynésie connait une très grave crise économique, sur fond d'instabilité politique.

Coome vous l'a dit, vaiatua, actuellement, les entreprises sont plus axées sur la débauche que sur l'embauche. 4000 emplois perdus en 2009 tous secteurs et niveaux d'emplois confondus. C'est énorme pour un petit pays comme le nôtre.
Pour ma part, je ne connais pas de personnes qui ont eu des entretiens à distance, si ce n'est dans le secteur de l'hôtellerie quelquefois, car ces personnes vont sur des sites d'offres d'emploi de leur activité proposées par de grandes chaînes hôtelières.
Voilà ce que je peux vous dire, mais bon d'autres forumeurs ont peut-être vecu ce genre d'entretien d'embauche en PF. Je ne peux ni l'infirmer ni le confirmer.

Concernant ma "spécialité", il s'agit du point de vue de ma formation de la psychologie sociale, et notamment sur la gestion des situations difficiles (par exemple, situation de chômage). Cette spécialisation me permet de travailler dans les centre d'emploi par exemple. toutefois, durant mes études en Doctorat, j'ai acquis un certains nombres de compétences, notamment dans le domaine de la gestion de projet (analyse des demandes, mise en place d'un dispositif, évaluation des moyens, rapports intermédiaires, présentation des résultats, rédaction de rapport de satisfaction, ...). Aujourd'hui, je suis ingénieur d'études en Sciences Humaines et plus particulièrement en "analyses statistiques de bases de données". De ce point de vue, je n'ai donc pas de domaines de prédilection en tant que tel. En effet, en tant que chargé de mission ou chargé de projet (emploi administratif), je peux travailler dans la santé, le commerce, l'aménagement du territoire, ...
C'est évident que le plus simple serait de trouver un emploi à l'UPF. Ils ont un service qui se rapproche du mien en métropole (le Centre d'Information et D'Orientation), mais dans lequel mes compétences et expériences pourraient être utiles. je travaille actuellement dans un observatoire de l'insertion professionnelle. L'objectif de ce service est de faire un état des lieux de la situation des anciens diplômés de l'Université (que font-ils après avoir quitté l'Université ? quelles sont les caractéristiques des emplois exercés ? que pensent-ils de la formation reçue à l'Université ? ...) Bref, autant d'informations qui pourraient être très utiles pour les instances dirigeantes d'une Université.
Concernant des candidatures dans le privé, je vais essayé d'en envoyer quelques unes pour voir comment elles sont "reçues".
Les démarches avancent... j ai trouvé un point d entrée pour construire mon CV et faire ma lettre de motivation, mais il me manque un point essentiel... Pouvez-vous me dire quel type de CV est apprécié à Tahiti ? Y a t-il des normes à respecter ? dans la forme ? dans le fond ? mêmes questions concernant la lettre de motivation.
Pour l instant, j ai utilisé un CV sur le style "EUROPASS", est ce correct ?
Pourquoi le CV serait différent ? parce que chaque pays, chaque région a sa façon de faire et notamment, que la culture joue un rôle non négligeable dans la manière de rédiger et de lire un CV. Par exemple, certains codes, dans certaines régions du monde, impose de mettre en avant les études avant l'expérience professionnelle, pour d'autres, c'est l'inverse. Quelque fois, un CV de 2 pages est mal vu car la "norme", c'est une seule page. La partie "informations complémentaires" (hobby, sport, musique...) est souvent retirée des CV actuels mais dans certains pays, c'est une partie très importante car elle permet de connaître le dynamisme de la personne ...
Pour la lettre de motivation, cela concerne surtout le fait que cette dernière puisse être manuscrite ou non....
Voilà, je souhaitais simplement avoir des informations sur le CV type, ce qu'il faut mettre en avant, notamment pour un métropolitain. De la même façon pour la lettre de motivation, faut-il que je fasse une partie sur les raisons qui m'amènent à postuler, non pas sur l'emploi, mais surtout, un emploi à Tahiti.

Je me suis sûrement mal exprimé dans mon dernier message. En remplaçant "pays" ou "régions du monde" par "culture", je pense que cela est plus juste. En effet, même si Tahiti est français, il n'en reste pas moins qu'elle a ses particularités, sa culture, et donc des normes sociales différentes... je voulais simplement avoir de l'aide sur ces normes concernant les CV et lettres de motivation, rien de plus...
Enfin, en lisant les remarques sur ce forum, il est noté quasiment tout le temps que venir à Tahiti sans emploi assuré était suicidaire, mais comment alors trouvé un emploi sans y aller ? si ce n'est pas l'envoie de candidatures via la métropole ?...
oui, pour trouver il faut etre sur place, pour 2 raisons, l'emploi est réservé en priorité aux habitants, et ensuite , un employeur veut voir quelqu'un avant de l'embaucher, et prendre une RV est difficile vu la distance. Ensuite en venant, vous verrez aussi et c'est tres important, la vie sur place hors plages, soleil etc... il faudra tenir compte de la circulation, de la cherté de tout, courses, loyers, voitures etc... et de la culture. En plus en ce moment ce n'est pas la panacée, la crise est tres importante en polynésie. voila ..
les seules personnes qui ont de grandes chances de trouver un emploi sont celles des métiers de santé, infirmier(es) médecins etc...
ne pas oublier non plus que les avantages sociaux ne sont pas les mêmes, et donc il faut faire attention..
vous aurez sans venir 99,99 % de chances de ne pas recevoir de réponses.
Donc votre conseil est de venir sur place et de chercher un emploi, une fois sur place ? c'est risqué, non ?
Enfin, si j'ai bien compris, ma (seule) vrai chance, en tant que fonctionnaire d'Etat, est d'obtenir une mutation ?
Pour notre part, nous avons fait le grand saut il y a bientôt 5 ans et sommes installés à Bora où nous avons repris une affaire nautique.
Nous sommes venus en "vacances-éclaireurs" dans un 1er temps pour confirmer notre volonté de nous installer en Polynésie et nous avons craqué !
Je pense que le mieux est de venir pour voir et pourquoi pas pour postuler à différents postes !
