Est-ce que nous prenons un gros risque à partir alors que moi je serais à la recherche d'un emploi mais sur place? Mon mari est décidé à partir mais moi je suis sur la réserve, on a 2enfants et je n'ai pas envie de galérer...Pourriez-vous me donner des conseils avisés....Merci d'avance

Tout dépend du salaire de ton mari ET/OU du niveau de tes économies...... En dessous de 300.000 Fcfp de revenus par mois, oublies.......😐

Bonsoir, alors niveau économie c'est un peu juste avec les enfants et notre appart en France mais on a déjà l'argent pour les billets donc je pense que c'est un plus et on a prévu pour un mois de "survie" là-bas... Quant au salaire de mon mari il aurait 300 000...Moi j'ai pas mal de diplome en France (maîtrise de langues vivantes, BEESAN, formatrice pour adultes...), j'espère faire des recherches actives mais une fois sur place, pas facile de le faire à distance.... c 'est vrai que c 'est la crise et ici comme partout elle se ressent mais je dirais d'avantage vu que l'ile est assez petite mais bon si vous avez déjà un salaire, j'imagine que tu sais que tout est énormément cher ici. Soit tu te dis que c'est une chance unique et tu pars en assumant les difficultés à venir, soit tu sécurises et reste en france.

tout quitter pour "l'aventure" et une situation non maîtrisée, ça demande mure réflexion...
La vie est vraiment chère ici et un couple avec deux enfants doit avoir de solides revenus pour s'en sortir et profiter un tant soit peu de la Polynésie, sinon, aucun intérêt de venir ici... Il faut à mon avis au moins 400.000 Fcp mensuels pour vivre normalement.
Le loyer est la dépense principale et il faudra compter au moins 120 à 140.000 Fcp pour se loger (1000 € mini). Néanmoins, toutes les locations sont meublées, avec frigo, m à laver, etc... donc pas de meubles à amener.
Comme partout, c'est la crise ici aussi. Le tourisme, principale ressource du territoire, est à l'agonie (-25 % de touristes par rapport à 2008) et tout en pâti. L'emploi se fait rare mais reste toujours possible selon ses qualifications.

Mon mari aurait 300 000CFP plus des primes que je ne compte pas car c'est aléatoire.... De mon côté j'ai des qualifications comme BEESAN et j'ai également une maîtrise d'espagnol..je ne sais pas du tout si ces compétences sont recherchées en Polynésie...

Bonjour quizas16, je viens de tomber sur ton message, et à la lecture de tout les conversations je pense qu'il n'y a plus grand choses à ajouter...
néanmoins, il me semble que tu as à porter de mains, une fabuleuse opportunité... ce n'est pas donner a tout le monde d'avoir l'occasion de partir dans un endroit si paradisiaque. Mais étant donné les revenus assez faibles finalement pour vivre confortablement que vous auriez je crois qu'il ne faudrait pas confondre rêve et réalité. Vivre un rêve c'est super tant qu'il ne tourne pas au cauchemar...
Ce voyage demande mure réflexion je pense qu'il serait judicieux de faire comme les enfants écrire tous les bons cotés qu'il y aurait de venir vivre en Polynésie et puis de l'autre tous les point négatifs, est t'il raisonnable de partir ou pas?
Etes vous tout deux d'origine francaise (de métropole)? si oui il y a des chanses que vous reveniez pour voir votre famille, à ce moment là il ne faut pas oublier que vous êtes 4 si j'ai tout compris et que les billet d'avion sont cher...
Fais réellement le point cela t'aidera à prendre ta décision.

eh oui le rêve peut vite devenir un cauchemar et c'est justement ce que je veux éviter!!!!
La vie est chère, les billets d'avion aussi, bref il faut presque être Crésus pour s'en sortir convenablement. Nous hésitons encore et je pense que nous allons repousser l'offre encore un peu, au moins d'un an, les enfants iraient à l'école donc pas de crêche et plus de liberté pour chercher du travail et encore du temps pour mettre de l'argent de côté!
On se fait vite des illusions et la moindre déception pourrait prendre des tournures considérables... La vie est devant nous alors peut être que l'occasion se représentera et ce sera dans de meilleures conditions....
Qui vivra verra....

peut être est il plus sage de patienter et comme tu le dis, vous êtes jeunes...

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
