je me présente je m'apelle vaiana je suis tahitienne née à papeete de parents tahitien mais adopté à la naissance. depuis toute petite je rêve de repartir à tahiti mais je n'ai jamais eu la possibilité d'y retourner.
je me marie dans un an et pour notre voyage de noces nous avons choisi d'aller à tahiti et d'y retourner par la suite pour y vivre.
J'ai lu sur une ancienne discution de ce site qu'une loi était en train de passer pour que les français ne soit pas prioritaire sur l'emploi et qu'ils devaient habiter au moins 5ans sur l'ile avant que les portes leurs soit ouvertes.
est ce vrai? et si oui suis je considérer comme française malgrès mon lieu de naissance et mes origines?

a peine 6 mois ici pour moi, je n' ai pas encore beaucoup de recul, mais je ne pense pas avoir constaté une telle chose !
je vois des polynésiens et des metros a peu près partout, dans tous les dommaines.
peut etre les chauffeurs de trucks ainsi que tout le travail dit de "manutention" sont tous tahitiens et les petits commerces aussi, avec les chinois, mais sinon ça reste a peu près homogène..
de plus j' ai pu rencontrer des gens qui n' étaient pas la depuis 5 ans et qui avaient trouvés du travail tout de suite.
on peut comprendre qu' il y a plus de polynésiens qui travaillent que de métros ( on est en polynésie quand meme !! ), peut etre pas aux memes postes ( car souvent nous autres métros arrivons en general pour des genre de travails spécifiques ), mais on trouve de tout.
et puis surtout tu es polynésienne malgré tout, je pense 😉
tu as envi de retrouver ton fenua, donc je ne vois pas pourquoi on te ferais des soucis..

Je me doit d'apporter mon humble connaissance à ce sujet puiske manifestement, nous avons beaucoup de point commun en revanche moi, j'ai la chance d'y être retourner à deux reprises, la dernière fois étant l'année dernière, déjà!Mais j'y retourne dans deux semaines tout o plus, ouf!Justement pour y travailler.Tout comme toi, je suis né à Papeete, tout comme toi j'ai été adopté mais par ce kon appelle en Tahitien des Popas(peau blanche)et tout comme toi j'ai envie de m'installer là-bas pour y vivre et donc travailler ce qui est bien entendu tout fait possible.Ce qu'il faut savoir concernant le recrutement ne se trouve pas dans les lois et le marché de l'emploi est ouvert aussi bien aux Tahitiens k'aux Français. Mais la conjoncture étant difficile en Polynésie liés entre autres à la démographie, la pauvreté, la vie quoi..en conséquence les employeurs se doivent de favoriser les Tahitiens mais bon..tout dépend le secteur d'activité ciblé car dans bien des entreprises, la direction, étant en majorité Française, auront une préférence certaine à recruter des personnes ayant eu un parcours professionnel effectué en France certain disent même rencontrer trop de problèmes avec les candidats Polynésiens, mank de discipline, souci de ponctualité...(je sais pourquoi je suis souvent en retard..)Mais c'est ça qui est géniale, travailler et se sentir en vacances!Si c'est pas beau!Enfin voilà, toi et ton futur mari avez toute vos chances et mes félicitations soit dit en passant pour avoir choisi de célébrer votre mariage à Tahiti!Toutes façons ya pas mieux!Nana!

Je pense que pour votre installation et votre travail au fénua vs ne rencontrerez aucun pbs vu que tu es Tahitienne d'abord. Les Polynésiens sont adorables rien à voir avec la France.
Un petit handicap qd tu parlera ce sera comme les (popas ) tu n'aura pas ce bel accent tahitien avec ce roulé de rrrr... que moi personellement j'adore (sourires)

Non effectivement ne t'inquiete pas pour ce qui est du travail il n'y a pas vraiment de discrimination entre popaa et polynesiens, si ce n'est dans certains boulots d'accueil par exemple où on prefère voir un local qu'un français tout blanc!! peut etre aussi dans l'administration où il est vrai il y a du favoritisme pour les polynesiens mais comme disait quelqu'un plus haut "on est quand meme en Polynesie"!! et puis pas de probleme pour toi puisque tu es tahitienne....Bonne chance pour votre installation

Comme infirmière, ce n'est pas le boulotqui manque et assez bien payé par rapport à la Métropole. Il y a sur Tahiti : 3 cliniques : une de jour, deux classiques + l'hôpital et le nouvel hôpital qui vas ouvrir ....Dans les îles, du boulot aussi en dispensaire ou hopitaux, bien payé, logé...Mais les îles....
Des remplacements aussi, en libéral. Je n'ai pas les adresses sous la main, mais un coup de Google ca devrait le faire !

Je n'aime pas donner des réponses ... . Aujourd'hui, quand on donne aux gens des réponses, ils ont l'impression qu'on les prend pour des imbéciles et qu'on empiète sur leur liberté.

🙂bonjour Marlou5 je suis infirmiere et depuis 7 ans en polynesie, ne t inquiete pas le travail ne manque pas mais reste vigilante à l exercice en poste isolé qui pourrait t etre proposé il vaut mieux etre un professionnel aguerri pour accepter ce genre de poste, je l ai fait durant 4 ans sur des iles sans medecin. Tu peut trés facilement trouver un emploi sur le Centre hospitalier de Mamao.Sinon tu as aussi des structures hospitalieres péripheriques à Nuku Hiva(iles marquises) egalement sur l ile de Raiatea et l ile de moorea ces hopitaux peripheriques dependent de la direction de la santé.saches que la vie est chere mais la colocation est aisée le salaire d une jeune ide est de 230000xpf environ soit 1900euro sans les primes de week-end et autres.Les horaires sont en 12 heures.bon courage si tu veut d autre info n hesite pas

Pour ma part, la colocation s'est ce que je recherchais car depuis que j'ai commencais mes études je n'ai fait que des collocations. Sinon la vie là bas financièrement, en tant qu'infirmière est gérable. comment trouve tu la vie là bas, les habitants ?

Moi aussi jé envi de tenter l'aventure et en cherchan je suis tomber sur deux trois sites interressant :
celui-ci est assé complet et parle de tout, n'hésite pas à fouiller un peu partout dans les pages ya plein de truc interressant, (téléphonie, internet, logement, transports, boulot, .......)
PS: l'envie mé venue il y a peu (15jour), mais vraiment plus je lis des témoignages et plus l'envie grandie. Et comme je n'y connais pas grand chose je me renseigne un max pour ne pas me précipité et faire n'importe koi..

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
