ayant travaillé a l' hopital de Tahiti, je me permets de t' apporter ma modeste contribution 😉
tout ce que j' ai pu entendre dire sur le soin a domicile en Polynésie, c' est que les places sont très chères !
ce sont des postes très convoités pour diverses raisons et le numerus closus n' arrange rien a la situation.
les rares postes qui pourraient se libérer sont immédiatement pourvus, car ici comme dans beaucoup d' endroits dans ce pays ça marche par le bouche a oreille.
je pense que le mieux pour toi serais de venir travailler sur Tahiti en intra-hospitalier car n' étant pas sur place, c' est d' autant plus difficile de trouver un poste en soins a domicile.
cela te permettrai de temporiser un peu sur place et d' avoir quelques contacts qui pourraient s' avérer utiles pour la finalité de ton projet !
le milieu medical en Polynésie est relativement étriqué si on compare au nombre de personnel qu'on peut trouver rien que dans un departement metropolitain, donc tout le monde se connais assez vite !
en revanche, je ne sais pas du tout si tu peut travailler en tant que " simple " salariée.
j' avais eu ouie dire de quelques postes en remplacement, mais " toujours " dans le but de s' installer dans le cabinet.
il existe aussi des rares remplacements pour des congés maternité, mais ça reste toujours un peu précaire car de ce fait tu ne sais jamais si tu pourras continuer a bosser 6 mois après avoir commencé..
est-il bon de préciser aussi que travailler en soins a domicile a Tahiti ( hormis la presqu'ile et le district ) c' est s' engager a passer une bonne partie de la journée dans la circulation et dans les bouchons?
la Polynésie dispose d' un parc automobile très fourni et la situation n' a malheureusement pas tendance à s' améliorer..
donc pour conclure, dans la mesure du possible, essaie de trouver un poste a l' hopital ou en clinique pour avoir le temps de rencontrer des gens et de te faire connaitre sur place.
meme si ça reste bien loin du soins a domicile en terme d' exercice professionnel, c' est aussi bien loin de ce qu'on peut connaitre en travaillant dans un hopital en france, meme si biensur les soins sont faits de la meme manière !
si d' autres questions te traversent l' esprit, n' hésites pas a demander !

Il est vrai qu'il sera plus facile de démarcher une fois sur place tant pour un boulot
que pour un logement, un compte en banque....etc...
Pour le logement, je me tiens au courant grâce au ParuVendu pour cibler un studio/F1.
Pour un compte, il faut être sur place....
Mais effectivement, grosse galère pour trouver du boulot en soins à domicile via internet.
Il est vrai que j'adore le libèral et plus flexible en tant que remplaçante pour prévoir dates
de vacances en métropôle....Mais il est sûr qu'en travaillant en institution je rencontrerais
de futurs collègues pour sympathiser..!!!😉 De plus, j'éviterais les bouchons et de devoir
louer une voiture.
Mon projet mûrit de jour en jour depuis 4 mois.....mon départ est pour le 19 Octobre....🙂

pour le logement tu as bien raison de chercher sur le Paruvendu, c' est LE moyen pas cher ( car gratuit 😎 ) de trouver moultes offres de logement a tous les prix pour tous les gouts.
je pense par ailleurs que tu dois etre au courant que beaucoup de gens habitent en colocation car les loyers sont élevés et que pour le prix d' un studio tu peux aisément trouver une belle maison avec 1 ou 2 personnes pour partager les frais !
enfin il faut pouvoir habiter en coloc ce qui n' est pas toujours facile lorsqu'on a habité ' seul ' pas mal de temps !
si tu compté louer une voiture pour bosser a domicile c' est une alternative, mais ça tourne autour de 70-80€/jour et tu te rendra bien vite compte qu'a ce prix il vaut mieux en acheter une en arrivant.
les voitures " roulantes " commencent dans les 2000€ mais a ce prix la tu seras preque sure d' etre en panne 6 mois après ton achat.. 🤪
sinon a ce prix tu peut aussi trouver un scooter neuf, ce qui n' est pas négligeable..
je vois que ton projet est finalement bien concret, tu as ton billet, tu va bientot partir tenter ta chance la bas, c' est super !
le stress de partir seul te servira bien vite de " moteur " car en general ça fait aller de l' avant une fois sur place tant au niveau de tes premiers contacts que te ton installation.
partir a 2 c' est bien mais on as tendance a se reposer sur les " acquis " et on ressentira forcément moins le besoin d' aller vers les autres pour parler a des gens !
enfin ce que je dis n' appartiens a aucune règle et je ne veut pas m' attirer les foudres des couples qui demenagent !
n' hésites surtour pas a me demander toute les infos que tu voudras, via le forum ou en MP !

Je suis élève ingénieur, et je viens tt juste d'etre accepté pour effectuer un stage de 2 mois à compter du 2 novembre 2009 à Tahiti.
Je cherche donc des bons plans au niveau du logement car étant étudiant et malgré tout les petits boulots que j'enchaine ici à Paris je n'ai pas vraiment les moyens de mettre 1000euros par mois dans un hébergement !!

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
