Bonjour. Je souhaiterai partir vivre en polynesie. Actuellement je suis au Liban. Je quitte le pays fin juin le temps de finir mes deux projets audiovisuels.
Aprés un retour en france, je souhaite repartir trés vite en gros fin 2008 ou debut 2009.
mes questions sont :
Y a-t-il de l'emploi dans la protection du patrimoine culturel, musées, bibliothèques..... (licence dans ce domaine)?
Peut-on être sapeurs-pompiers volontaire (comme je le suis actuellement en France)?
Ensuite pour le logement, pratique-t-on facilement la colocation dans les iles?
Je n'ai pas une ile precise comme destination, juste en polynesie française.
Par ailleurs j'ai aussi un BTS en assistant de gestion pme-pmi. Y a-t-il aussi des offres dans ce domaine (2 ans d'experience en PME).

Peut étre que les domaines que tu abordent ne sont que peu ou pas connus par les forumeurs....Et la Polynésie, c'est grand ! Pour ce que tu demandes, il faudrait une réponse par ile..Comme il y a 118 iles...

Donc pour cibler un peu ma recherche, disons que je me focalise sur les iles principales où il y a des musées. Donc je pense des grandes iles comme tahiti ou bora bora. aprés je pense que les autres sont plus petites et donc qu'elles ne doivent pas avoir de musées ou bibliothèques.
Je ne connias pas la polynesie vraiment. Je ne connais que deux iles (que je viens de citer) et juste de nom.
Si quelqu'un d'une autres iles à des infos, je suis preneur.

Il y a effectivement des musés sur Tahiti, mais sur Bora????..... Une chose est sure, Bora n'est pas une île principale, elle est très connue c'est plutôt ça. Mis à part Tahiti, tu peux compter en nmr2 sur Raiatea, puis Huahine et ensuite cela diminu.... Les îles sont très petites finalement et il n'est pas rare d'en faire le tour en une demi journée.
Pour ce qui est du travail, comme il te l'a été dit, les forumers ne doivent certainement pas trop maitriser ton domaine (c'est aussi mon cas). Pour ce qui est ds musés, il n'y en a pas des masses. En revanche il y a beaucoup d'évènements culturels liés à l'histoire et surtout l'âme polynésienne. Pour infos consulte le site du SEFI ( http://www.sefi.pf ) c'est l' anpe locale, tu y trouveras peut-être des infos mais elle ne concerne que les personnes résidant déjà sur le territoire (enfin cela peut t' aider quand même).

Merci pour la reponse. J'étais déjà allé sur le site, mais je crois qu'il faut donner une adresse postale pour connaitre exactement le profil recherché lors d'une offre d'emploi. En gros j'avais l'intitulé, mais je ne pouvais aps voir si je correspondais exactement au profil.
Sinon, GilesB, je ne suis pas encore allé en polynesie. Je suis pour le moment au Liban et financièrement, je ne peux pas partir là-bas en vacances. Si je pars, c'est que j'ai du boulot ou que je suis sur le point d'en trouver.
Je crois qu'avant de partir, tu devrais t'y rendre... La Polynésie n'est pas la plus facile des destinations en matière d'expatriations même pour un Français. Des catégories d'emploi sont réservées aux Polynésiens. Il y a par contre d'autres emplois où tu peux trouver assez facilement mais pour ton installation il te faudra pas mal d'argent.
Trouver du boulot à distance pour une destination où toutes les semaines sur ce forum deux ou trois personnes se réveillent en se disant "tiens je vais aller vivre à Tahiti" n'est pas vraiment pas évident. Il y a toutefois des chasseurs de têtes spécialisés sur les DOM-POM comme Guintrand Consultants. Je t'invite à consulter leurs sites tu pourras peut-être trouver des annonces te correspondant.
Si c'est ton rêve poursuis le mais tu n'as pas choisi le plus facile.

Ma foi j'y suis et ça va. Je pense pas que la polynesie soit pire qu'ici, donc ça me fait pas peur d'ariver là-bas, comme je suis arrivé à Beyrouth, les mains dans les poches.

Ce ne sont pas les mêmes difficultés. J'ai travaillé au Costa Rica, en Indonésie, à la Martinique, au Québec... j'ai essayé la Polynésie mais le salaire des postes que j'ai trouvés ne permettait pas de vivre correctement... j'ai conjugué durant presque dix ans opportunité financière et expatriation ensoleillée.
Cela dit ma démarche était très différente... je recherchais des emplois bien rémunérés dans le monde et j'acceptais d'y aller si la région me plaisait... toi tu fais le cheminement contraire, tu places en priorité ton cadre de vie avant l'emploi, c'est, dans ce cas, très restrictif et donc plus sujet à échec.
Certe, se ne sont pas les même difficultées. Mais je me dit qu'a 25 ans c'est le moment ou jamais de tenter ce genre d'aventure. Aprés je ne le ferai pas. DOnc je suis prés à prendre le risque de partir tenter ma chance, un peu à l'aveuglette, quitte à revenir en France aprés.
Pour le moment j'ai un contact sur place qui travaille dans une radio sur tahiti.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
