Je suis nouvelle sur ce forum, mais très excitée à l'idée de notre voyage de janvier 2010 😊. Nous partons pour un voyage "Terre et Mer" (7 jours en mer et 7 jours sur terre) le 11 janvier prochain.
Offert pas Vacances Transat, ce forfait nous offre une croisière dans les Caraibes (en partance de La Romana en République Dominicaine vers les iles du Sud - Antigua, Guadeloupe, Ste-Lucie, St-Martins...) suivi d'une semaine dans un tout-inclus (Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus) à La Romana.
Quelqu'un d'autre a déjà fait ce circuit? On nous dit qu'il était auparavant fait sur le Costa Atlantica, mais qu'à partir de janvier le Méditerranea assurera la portion croisière. Les croisières Costa sont bien?

J'ai fait 9 croisières dans les caraibes et les iles que ta croisière propose sont très belles. Vous adorerez la vie à bord mais surtout les excursions. Un petit conseil, n'achète pas tes excursions à terre à bord du bateau, tu paieras 3 fois le prix. Sort du bateau et partout il y aura des taxis qui te proposeront les mêmes beaucoup moins cher et tu peux les négocier encore plus bas....
Je n'ai jamais pris la ligne Costa mais tout le monde que je connais qui l'on pris sont enchanté du service et de la nourriture, je crois que tu ne te tromperas pas.
Je vis en République Dominicaine toutes les hivers depuis 5 ans et tu adorera ton séjour à terre. La Romana est très belle, sort du tout-inclus et visite.
Je ne sais pas pour le trajet que vous allez faire, mais pour le Bateau, il est très beau, l'interieur du bateau est Magnifique, les lounges sont très sympa, le service est excellent, la nourriture est plustôt Italienne et très bonne.
Les " en plus " à payer sont:
1- Les boissons; Il y a des forfaits boissons alco ou non alco à acheter si vous voulez pour que ça revient moins cher " sinon l'eau de fontaine, le thé, le café filtré et le lait sont gratuits en self service"
2- Le service à la fin de la croisière que sera environ 100 euros pour vous deux " obligatoire".
3- Les excursions si vous voulez les prendre " ils sont trop cher à mon avis"
Je conseille vivement ce bateau.

Côté soupers, nous sommes un peu inquiets du "dress code" par compte... Mon conjoint n'est pas du type veston cravate, mais pas du tout! Est-ce qu'un simple veston sport assorti à un pantalon sera ok? Le port du complet est-il obligatoire?
Côté code vestimentaire, ne vous inquiètez pas, vous pouvez être décontractés. Le seul souper formel est le souper du capitaine et encore là un veston, pantalon et chemise sport fera l'affaire. Cependant si tu peux convaincre ton époux d'apporter une tenue chic, tu pourras faire faire de belles photos pour votre anniversaire (même que tu peux louer des tuxedos ou gilet de soirée sur plusieurs bateau)....Les autres soirs un pantalon et une chemise sport fait l'affaire, pas de short dans la salle à diner ou de sandales pour messieurs. Si tu ne peux pas lui faire mettre des pantalons long vous pourrez toujours manger ailleurs que dans la grande salle à manger, il y a toujours un autre resto style buffet.
Vous pouvez réserver votre table dans la salle à diner à l'avance, sinon dès votre embarquement. Moi je préfère une table à deux pour être seul avec mon époux. Tout dépend de ce que vous préférer. Si vous êtes jumelés avec un groupe qui ne vous plait pas n'hésitez pas de vous faire changer.....
Côté tenue vestimentaire qu'as-tu constaté sur le Mediterranea? Les hommes portaient habit cravate ou veston sport aux repas? et pour le souper du commandant?
Sais-tu s'ils louent des veston/complet/tux sur le bateau?
Nous aurons une cabine avec veranda sur le 8è pont, tu as voyagé où toi? Nous faisons le trajet Antilles - Iles vierges - le vrai rêve quoi ;)
Le Costa Atlantica et le Costa Mediterranea sont des bateaux jumeaux ( tres appréciés des clients ! )
Pour la tenue vestimentaire il est demandé de porter des chaussures fermées, une chemise ou chemisette et un pantalon pour le diner. Pour le diner du commandant il faut etre bien habillé mais personne ne te demande tt de même de sortir le costume de pinguoin 😏 !

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
Bonjour j ai effectué des reservations d hebergement sur l amerique du sud par l intermediaire de Booking en fevrier dernier pour novembre 2020 . A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
