C'est pkoi je demande votre aide pour le choix de mon hotel...Il y a le Majestic colonial Punta Cana et le GRand Bahia principe aussi qui m'intéresse. Je ne les connais pas tous et c'est pas évident de les choisir sur Internet. Donc, avec votre avis, et vos expérience, ca pourrait m'aider bcp.
Je tiens également a rester encore sur la plage de Bavaro et à avoir au moins.....3 resto à la carte....
la bouffe est un atout dans notre choix car on ne mange pas de tout....pas de poissons ni fruit de mer par exemple...
Regarde aussi du côté du Grand Palladium Bavaro. Nous y étions à l'hiver 2007, c'était super. Plusieurs resto à la carte tous excellents. Au buffet, il y a un thème différent à chaque soir, il y a toujours quelque chose pour te dépanner (coin italien). Situé dans un des plus beau secteur de la plage Bavaro. Très beau complexe, très propre (presqu'immaculé), végétation luxuriante.
Nous y retournerions volontier, mais faut voir autre chose.
OUi, pour le Grand Palladium, j'étais au courant. Je me suis juste fait dire que ca bougeait un peu moins. C'est possible qu'on soit 8 alors on veut un complexe qui bouge un peu plus. Mais je te remercie pour ton conseil. C'est apprécié....
Je vais justement a Punta Cana fin janvier et debut fevrier avec un groupe d'amis, nous sommes 10 en tout. Nous avons beaucoup magasine les hotels et nous avions des points precis a respecter: minimum 4*, plage sable blanc, eau bleu, resto a la carte et bonne bouffe, pas trop loin de l'aeroport..... Notre choix s'est arrete sur le Gran bahia Principe, a voir les commentaires des gens sur les forums et sur Tripadvisor 😎, ils etaient presque tous excellents. T'as raison de dire que c'est pas evident de magasiner sur internet, c'est etourdissant 🤪 !!! C'est l'fun d'avoir l'avis des autres !!!

Est tu au courant si c'est bien dérangeant????? faudrait avoir des avis la dessus pour pas arrivé la bas et que ca cogne partout. C'est sur que fin janvier est encore loin, et ils auront p-e le temps de finir....bon voyage à toi et tiens moi au courant quand tu partira et ou, p-e y seront nous en meme temps
Moi aussi j'ai entendue parler de la construction mais il parrait que ce n'est pas derangeant du tout et c'est pour un agrandissement de l'hotel qui est supposer etre termine en janvier. Si tu vas voir sur ce forum il y a une discussion (demarrer par ouioui) sur cet hotel et la construction (y'a meme des photos). Moi ca ne m'inquiete pas du tout parce que si c'est pas termine ca va probablement etre a l'interrieur !!!

Le Gran Bahia Principe est un excellent choix, d autant plus que vous etes 8 vous allez vous amuez aucun doute.
Il y a beaucoup d activitées sur la plage a partir de 10h am et le sois au théatre spectacle suivie d animation c est super.
Pour la bouff tu mangeras a ta faim et meme plus croit moi, je suis tres tres difficile et si ce qu il y a dans les caseroles ne ressemble pas a ce qui est marquer sur la carte, je n y goute meme pas.
Il y a un choix assez divers pas seulement fruits de mer c est certain qu il en a mais bon y a beacoup d autres choses aussi .
Tu te régalera, je suis certaine. Il y a 8 restaurants a la carte alors si tu ne mange pas a cet endroit ...??? ca se peut pas.
Le site est tellement beau et immense et la plage est écoeurante et tres longue.
Pour 2 semaines au Gran Bahia Principe ca nous coute 2500$ par adulte (une semaine = 1730$) et 1000$ par enfant. Nous partons de MTL un samedi matin (9h00) avec Air Transat. C'est moins cher les jours de semaine et depart de soir ou nuit !! Mais nous, avec un enfant, nous voulions les meilleures conditions !!

Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)

2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
