Je vous explique mon cas... Actuellement en Master 2 de Langues et Négociations Internationales (BAC +5) et devant effectuer un stage de 6 mois afin de valider ma dernière année d'études j'envisage sérieusement de quitter mon nord natal pour découvrir de nouveaux horizons... La période durant laquelle mon stage doit débuter étant du 01/02/09 au 01/4/09.
La Nouvelle Calédonie étant l'une des destinations qui m'a toujours attiré c'est tout naturellement que je me tourne vers ce petit bout de terre.
Bien qu'ayant déjà pu glaner un grand nombre de renseignements sur le forum je me pose encore des questions:Est il possible de trouver un stage dans mon domaine de compétences? Ma formation étant basée sur les langues, je maîtrise l'anglais et dispose de quelques bases dans différentes langues dont le mandarin. En plus de ma formation linguistique, je dispose de compétences en droit international, logistique, et commerce. Naturellement, de part ma formation je suis ouvert aux autres cultures.
Ai-je une chance de trouver un stage avant de partir?
Est-ce réaliste d'envisager un départ en tant qu'étudiant et ce que ça implique financièrement sachant que je ne cherche pas à vivre dans le luxe 🙂
Je suis vraiment très motivé à l'idée de partir là bas et je suis prêt à m'en donner réellement les moyens...
Bien évidemment, mon objectif à long terme n'est pas uniquement d'y effectuer uniquement un stage mais de m'y installer.
Et au cas où il vous passerait par la tête le nom d'entreprises susceptibles d'être intéressées par mon profil (import/export, transitaires, commerce international, agences de voyages, etc) n'hésitez pas à m'en faire part !
Évidemment il est plus difficile de trouver un stage depuis la France que depuis la Calédonie. Il peut être un peu risqué de partir sans avoir aucun contact/piste. Pour trouver ton stage, je te conseille :de déposer ta demande sur le site embauche.ncd'envoyer un mail aux principales agences Intérim en leur demandant gentiment si elles peuvent faire suivre ton CV : Manpower, Adecco, Elite, ... agences intérim en NCd'essayer de contacter directement (lettre ou téléphone) des entreprises d'import/export...

Je te conseille de postuler plutôt sur des postes de commercial, logistique... Il y a des demandes a priori dans ces secteurs. Concernant les langues, seul l'anglais est susceptible de te servir. Le japonais est la langue de prédilection après l'anglais. Le mandarin beaucoup moins ... Renseigne toi bien sur le contenu exact de ta mission avant de partir ... les stagiaires sont souvent pas pris très au sérieux !
Financièrement parlant il faut savoir qu'un billet aller/retour coute entre 1600 et 2200€, un billet aller 1300-1500€ (tout dépend de la saison évidement), pour te loger, un studio c'est minimum 500€. Sinon le coût de la vie est environ de 25-30% plus cher qu'en France. Le salaire minimum net (SMG en Calédonie) est inférieur à 1000€ et très peu d'aides, donc cela fait très très très juste pour vivre... En résumé, tu as intérêt à partir avec de l'argent au départ ! En stage on te paiera au mieux le salaire minimum et au pire pas du tout. Et le droit du travail est différent en Calédonie, je crois donc que le minimum de 400€ de rémunération pour un stagiaire ne s'applique pas (j'en suis presque sûre).
Sinon la Calédonie est très agréable à vivre (j'y retourne y vivre d'ailleurs dès la fin de mes études) mais il faut savoir qu'il y a quand même une très forte volonté de privilégier l'emploi local (et pas toujours à compétences égales...) ! Il ne faut surtout pas arriver avec des stéréotypes/préjugés, et croire que la Calédonie c'est la zone et qu'il n'y a que des gens qui vivent dans des tribus en pagne (contrairement à ce que font croire les médias français...) et que les calédoniens ne savent rien et qu'il faut tout leurs apprendre ! Tu trouves que la Nouvelle Calédonie est un objectif de stage crédible dans ta formation ?
Si on se base sur le fait que ma formation est axée sur les échanges entres les hommes oui...
Le fait est que je dois effectuer un stage dans une entreprise tournée vers l'international où je pourrais mettre à profit mon étude de l'anglais (échanges commerciaux et culturels). Et travailler en tant que commercial, ou dans un service import/export est dans la continuité logique de ma formation.
Ensuite le choix de la Nouvelle Calédonie n'est que personnel et se justifie par l'attrait que j'ai pour cette île.
De plus faire preuve de mobilité dans le domaine de ma formation ne peut m'être que bénéfique.
L'objectif n'étant pas la Nouvelle Calédonie mais dans un premier temps la mise en pratique de ma formation dans une entreprise adéquate. Donc oui, c'est plus que crédible à partir du moment où le stage que je pourrait éventuellement réaliser coincidera avec ma formation.

Compte tenu de ta (on peut se tutoyer sur le net même si je suis vieux) formation, je pense qu'un stage dans un pays où la langue nationale n'est pas ta langue maternelle serait plus crédible et surtout profitable. Mais bon le caillou c'est mieux que la métropole, c'est déjà ça.
Ne vois pas dans ma remarque une agression mais simplement une remise en question.
