Alright, okay, escaping too, especially when we don’t have the chance to do it...

That’s exactly it! 😎 I won’t be able to do even a tenth of what you do, so I’m escaping through your stories and you’re making me dream!🙂

So tonight, are you joining the majority or playing the rebel?😉 Wait and see... 5:30 PM! Lockdown does have its perks, though....

I started a poll... So I’ll respect the voters’ decision! 😏

No no! It’s still in the works but for ...2021

So you’ve written off 2020. Maybe that’s the smarter move... I was supposed to fly to Quebec in a month... Looks like it’ll have to wait...

I’m thinking if this keeps up! Besides, I’ll probably have to post another tricky dilemma later today... 😉

Go ahead and post it—we’ll see what we can do to help. [;]

Given the activity in the Slovenia section of the forum, a new post doesn’t go unnoticed. 😉 It’s great—you’re gonna wake everyone up!

Hello! Not curious enough or just no time? You know, women are overbooked even during lockdown! 😉 Well, you know what? If I were in your shoes, I’d have played the rebel—just to make everyone drool a little! 🙂

But bring on 17:30! Drumroll, sound the bugle!

Alright, let’s not kid ourselves—on the "Jordan" travel journal, we’ve been in a bit of a bubble... Not a ton of contributors, but all loyal ones! So, I’m staying loyal... 😏

And it’s gonna be tough because tonight at 5:30 PM, you’ll have competition from our Prime Minister, who’s giving a press conference. Your connection with Le Havre just won’t quit! 😏

Hi Franck,

I’ve caught up on everything now 🤩🤩🤩

Your last day in Jerash brought back great memories and confirmed my wish to show this amazing country to my son 😄😄😄

You’ll have to go back for Ajlun and the desert castles 🧐🧐🧐 I’m lucky to know some Jordanians in Petra, and all they want is for us to return to Jordan 😊😊😊—so it’s going back on my list.

Looks like we’re heading to the Balkans next? Count me in to discover this area I don’t know yet while waiting for Cambodia.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your adventures with us.

See you soon,

Myriam

Yes, for sure, we’ll go back! I don’t know when since my wishlist is as long as my arm, but we’ll go back... You’re welcome for the time spent—it’s my pleasure! 😉

Hi there, A big thank you for this great time reading about your adventures in Jordan—hilarious, that description of Sandrine’s race to the bathroom (I feel your pain, I’ve had at least two emergencies like that myself) and Swimmer’s interventions. I’d planned a trip to Jordan for the first two weeks of October and had just finalized my itinerary (though I think travel outside France won’t happen this year), so I added a hot-air balloon ride over the Wadi Rum desert—you’re the only one who’s mentioned it (well, an ultralight flight...). This is the second time I’ve read one of your travel journals. The first was your trip with your brother across three countries, and I’d just gotten back from Chile.... Bravo for your travel journals—it’s a lot of work, especially with humor, and not everyone can pull it off! Anne

Hi Franck

Finished reading—I jumped back and forth between the Balkans and Jordan. One minute here, the next there. Caught up on everything, and I read it all. Your travel journal is as lovely as the Jordanians. Your trips should be reimbursed by social security since your journals do so much good.

So, does that mean too many travel journals don’t kill the travel journal?

So I guess too many journals don’t kill the journal, huh?

At least not yours. You’re like those writers whose next book we can’t wait for because we know we’ll never be disappointed. Have a great day.

Frank, Wow, your adventures and the way you describe your travels are pure art... I'm blown away. Here I am, an old globetrotter who's dragged his shoes all over the world, thinking I was invincible! I've met my match... thanks, dear Frank. (Just back from Aqaba!!!)

Hi Franck, And a big thank you for this roadbook and those amazing photos... It definitely made going back to work in August a bit easier 😛. Would it be possible to get the ULM coordinates in a PM, just in case they're still operating... All I can find in the Wadi is hot-air balloon info.

Thanks, Antoine

Hello and thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, the ultralight flights are no longer operating in Wadi Rum. I’d shared the coordinates with another VF member a few years ago and got this feedback...
