J'ai vu qu'il existait des visa "Au pair" mais peut ton trouver un job la bas avec ce visa?
Sinon il existe des visa étudiant mais je n'y vais pas dans le cadre de mes études, juste comme une année sabatique pour arranger mon anglais avant de reprendre mes études.
Ou alors le visa travail mais d’apres ce qu'on m'a dit il est difficile à obtenir et puis je ne cherche pas à travailler à temps complet, juste à payer mes frais!

Si tu lis les 15 milliards de posts à ce sujet ainsi que le site du gouvernement américain, tu sauras qu'il n'est pas possible d'obtenir un permis de travail pour un petit boulot et qu'on ne peut chercher un boulot sur place. Pour les séjours au pair, il te faut bien sûr trouver famille avant ton départ via des organismes agréés par gouvernement américain pour pouvoir avoir visa et donc tu ne peux débarquer là-bas et chercher une famille sur place.

Travailler "en non déclaré" et donc au black, c'est le pire des plans car si tu fais prendre (la délation va bon train et de plus raids ponctuels de l'INS dans les boîtes susceptibles d'embaucher clandestins (restos...)), tu vas fort le regretter (après séjour en prison, tu te retrouves, pieds et mains enchaînés dans l'avion pour ton pays d'origine avec bien sûr interdiction de revenir aux States au moins pour plusieurs années sinon à vie). Un tel plan "tient la route" pour un Sud-Américain qui crève de faim chez lui et qui n'a pas trop le choix mais pour un Européen, prendre de tels risque est de la folie douce et il faut oublier l'idée que le gouvernement français se démènera pour te faire sortir de prison.
Au pair, cela ne peut pas être .... 9.000 e sinon personne ne partirait. De toute façon, si tu veux séjourner au pair là-bas, il te faut trouver famille avant de partir et via organisme agréé par gouvernement us pour obtenir visa. Les séjours au pair sont très réglementés aux States.
Si tu peux te le permettre financièrement, fais-toi inscrire dans un "college", c'est bien moins cher que dans une université et donc tu pourras avoir visa étudiant.
Au pire des cas, tu y vas comme touriste pendant 3 mois. Au dela, il va te falloir prouver (pour avoir visa) que tu as les moyens financiers de rester là-bas sans travailler (et donc exit l'idée de chercher boulot) et que tu as couverture médicale.
Et oui, ce n'est pas évident mais c'est comme ça et dans le monde, il n'y a pas que les US et donc si on ne peut pas aller là-bas, on va ailleurs....

Au pair c’est autour de 1000E (dont 500$ de caution remboursé à la fin de ton année).
Mais pour être au pair, il faut avoir gardé des enfants. Tu passes un entretien et l’organisme te demande les références de 3 familles où tu as gardé des enfants. Les références sont vérifiées.
Si tu obtiens un visa « J1 au pair » tu ne peux pas changer de boulot. Le jour où tu quittes le programme au pair, ton visa est annulé et tu es obligé de retourner en France.
Si tu veux aller chez tes amis comme au pair, il faut qu’ils s’inscrivent au programme au pair…. Environ 7000$ de frais…. Tu es certain que cela les intéresse ?

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
